<![CDATA[Within the Zen Buddhism, there is satori, a term used to designate the essence of the Zen’s teachings. According to the Japanese, the term satori is taken as the teaching concerned about illumination or enlightenment. The enlightenment is the achievement as what spiritually discerned by the Gautama Buddhist. It is an experience that implies meaning beyond the common sense where words are not enough to explain. The human being that afford to climb until this satori state after particular Zen’s exercises may only experience some inner changes. Hence, he/ she would view the world and the sur- rounding in a wider horizon, as it is, and able to feel like he has going through a rebirth with a new personality.]]>

<![CDATA[Dua orang sarjana telah mengembangkan pemahaman dengan dua metode berbeda. Bellah menggunakan suatu pendekatan komparatif-historis-sosiologis yang menempatkan Islam dalam konteks dan membandingkannya dengan keberadaan agama Abraham, yang hadir lebih dulu sebelum Islam, khususnya berdasarkan sistem sosial yang melingkunginya. Sedangkan Rahman menggunakan metode hermeneutik, khususnya dalam memahami al-Qur’an. Metode yang diterapkan Rahman adalah hermeneutika gerak rangkap. Bellah menerapkan gaya pikir induktif dalam formulasi singkat, sedangkan Rahman menerapkan gaya pikir deduktif.]]>

<![CDATA[Through the controvertiality of The Last Temptation of The Christ we can learn, there is an intrinsic connection between theological aesthetic and moral theology: the theology of Christian praxis. In order to liberate, truth must capture the mind, goodness must enrapture the heart. The good and the true must appear as good and true for us. That is, truth must show its persuasiveness, goodness must show its attractiveness. The true and the good must be revealed as corresponding with our deepest human purposes and desires; in short, they must be apprehended as beautiful. Beauty can then be the instrument of conversion.]]>

<![CDATA[This article concerns the cosmological view of the Hindus around the area of tri danu in preserving their beautiful environment. Various means have been conducted by the tri danu community in which many parties, as the government as well as the tourism actors, have taken participations. Obviously even though now the condition has been in dilemma due to some obstacles, the cosmological understanding is still obeyed firmly by the Hindu community since they still believe in inherited mythologies.If the cosmology is not implemented hence there be various threats to come to endanger the environment, the human life as well.]]>

<![CDATA[It is found based on the research that ‘sentana rajeg’ has become the term to be the problem solver within the wedding system in Bali. This term is obviously based on the teaching of Hinduism in Rg. Veda. The sentana rajeg is caused to be effective in accordance with the Hindu script of law, Manawadharmasastra IX.127-140. Considering the Balinese traditional regulation, the condition of sentana rajeg has given an opportunity for the position of the anak sentana to be legalized through the traditional process in a sentana institution because of the philosophical values and the teaching of Hinduism embedded within. One of its functions is that the sentana rajeg may be used to avoid the revocation of right called camput as well as to maintain the traditional obligations, ayahan, on the parahyangan, the pawongan, and the pawongan.]]>

<![CDATA[The advancement of the technology has globally influenced various fields including the social healthy system. This phenomenon has motivated the government of Indonesia to take a participation in promoting the development of the healthy field, especially regarding the modern healthy equipment and infrastructure in Indonesia, including in Central Kalimantan (Borneo). The Palangkaraya is the capital city of the Central Kalimantan Province which gives also a serious concern with this field. However, this situation has not made any effect on the traditional medical system applied by the Dayak ethnic group within the Hindu Kaharingan belief inherited from the prior generation.]]>

<![CDATA[The application of the dynamic pragmatic learning within the Hinduism subject has brought about positive impact on the increase of the student learning motivation. It is indicated through the number of students that gave statement if they felt interested and stimulated by the application of such method within the subject in which hence the learning motivation was increasing. <![CDATA[Through the workshop it can be observed that the teacher ability has been increasing in deciding the minimum completeness criterion of the Hinduism teachers in the elementary schools (SD) of the Pejeng cluster, Tampaksiring district, Gianyar regency within the year of study of 2013/2014. The elementary school Hinduism teachers in Pejeng cluster have given a very positive response towards the minimum completeness criterion deciding activity through a workshop. Therefore, the workshop activityhas given a positive impact on the teacher competence in deciding the minimum completeness criterion.]]>

<![CDATA[This research was designed to be a School Action Research planned to be conducted in two cycles; every cycle was conducted in two or three meetings. The subjects of the research were the Hinduism teachers of the elementary schools included in cluster 1 in Ubud district, Gianyar regency, consisting of 9 Hinduism teachers. Through the research conducted it can be concluded that from the cycle 1 and cycle 2, there has been an increase of the value mean obtained from each the observed as well as the assessed component. This means that the development and the guidance through the teacher working group discussion approach can improve the teacher competence in utilizing the school environment as the learning source.]]>
