Abstract

Sounds useful to make a communication among human beings. Where each sound have characteristics and levels of different frequency. Sounds produced by vocal cords with cooperation of all sound-producing organs. Currently, the application of this technology develops quickly and was very useful for human life, for example: helping hearing impaired, making google translate and the others. There are several problems in sounds identifying sound, like velocity and accuracy of processing voice data. While for transform sound signals as input signals into sound frequencies in WAV format required a method of Artificial Neural Network to minimize the problem, using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) with the help of software Matlab to recognize the power of sound (decibels) and a few other voice characteristics. Design goal is to be able to identifying and analyzing characteristics of sound and voice processing data already saved on the system that have been made so that as you wish. By taking 8 times data on to ten peoples who have recognized sound frequency, the percentage of sound at night more than during day in a row was 75%, 50%, 25%, 37%, and 0% as many as three people, two people, two people, one people, and two people. Differences to this percentage are psychological condition, sound-producing organs and weather conditions on the set of data.

Abstract

This research designed a home security system system with monitoring using cellular phonenetwork. This tool is designed for easy homeowner in the house and locking the door to notice thecondition of the house when the door was left empty, the medium used is a mobile phone by using SMS facility. This device consists of a sensor is a magnetic switch that serves as an input to tell the condition of the door to the microcontroller, ATmega8535 microcontroller is used. Then the keypad which serves as input a password and a GSM modem that serves as a SMS sender and receiver. This security system has been built on the principle if there are people who do not have a password / access code as an entry into the house, then the system will activate the warning / alarm by sounding a warning buzzer and send SMS text notification of the "Intruders" to the phone number which has been programmed into the microcontroller.

Abstract

Abstract – Refer to the theme “attitude monitoring and surveillance payload”, KOMURINDO 2012 requires the participants to design a payload that can grab 200x200 greyscaled picture from the air then send it to LabVIEW ground station softwarein real-time (no buffer) to displayed. Sometime output image has bad quality for many reasons include sunlight intensity’s too high or low and noises caused by data lost, therefore image enhancement contrast stretching’s implemented in payload’s microcontroller and histogram equalization’s implemented in ground station software. The main purpose of both algorithms is to distribute bit pixel value so that picture can be displayed more clear (contrast), median filter and average filter are also implemented in ground station in order to lighten noises. Output of those algorithms implementation leads transfer time for 1 picture in KOMURINDO 2012 format rule to 42,7- 43,1seconds. Distributed pixels value image is setted in range value 0 to 254 therefore image have good contrast. This means that objects in image can be seen easily.

Abstract

Electrocardiogram (ECG) was recorded electrical signals produced by the body from the heart using electrodes placed on the surface of the body. Electrocardiograph is an electrical activity that are important in diagnosing cardiac disorders such as myocardial infarction, conduction defects, and arrhythmia. But in fact, the ECG signal is often contaminated by a noise. Therefore it is necessary an ECG signal processing is capable of addressing the issue. Where to ECG feature extraction and detection of QRS complex needs a technique to overcome the baseline wandering and minimize disturbance in the ECG signal. In this paper noise reduction techniques that will be used is based on wavelet Daubechies 04 (db 04) with decomposition level 3. The algorithm was developed using Advanced Signal Processing Tool (ASPT) LabVIEW programming. In this study, of the five types tested wavelet (Haar, Daubechies 02, Daubechies 03, Daubechies Daubechies 04 and 06), the type of wavelet that delivers the best RMSE values are Daubechies 04. Because it can do a enhancement value is good for AWGN 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, and 0.4 with the percentagevalue of 2.69%, 4.97% ,7.97%, and 11.31 %.

Abstract

Abstract – The development of technologytodaygrows rapidly, people need strong machines that can operate continously and can operate in a dangerous condition. In this journal made an intelligent fire fighting robot that can extinguish fire in a specific condition. In this design, the field of fire modelled in a labyrinth. Dimension of labyrinthis 2.5x2.5 meters, the wall will be in 33 centimeters and there will be four rooms. Candle will be placing on a random position. The robot will active if hear the fire alarm from sound activation. The robot move from home and will search and check every room. If the robot find the candle, then the robot will extinguish the fire at save position. Less time spendingfor searching and extinguish the fire is a main target in this design. After extinguish the fire the robot should back home.

Abstract

In this research has designed LPG leak gas detection system along with to overcome that works automatically. The mechanic system will open stem in the gas regulator when the sensor detecting of LPG gas leakage around the gas source with a loud alarm sound, so the incidence of accidental explosions and fires can be avoided. Sensor is used in the design of this research using TGS2610 type which of LPG gas detection system is based on comparison of the output voltage from the gas sensorto the gas levels on the air. The Mechanic system is used to move the gas regulator stem is a servo motor that spins in control with a certain pulse, so when installing and removing the gas regulator can be done with a single button from control panel. The LPG gas detection system is equipped with a battery backup so in case of electric outages from PLN the circuit will keep work fine.With a mechanical design that has been designed, the gas regulator can be replaced easily by the size of the general market.

Abstract

Automatic safety deposit box is a type of safe that is designed to work to secure any valuables with safety devices that are reliable. Safe uses a motion sensor as detection of human activity in the area before safe. Magnetic sensors to detect the presence of a safe deposit box at the door is opened or closed with a locking solenoid automatic. Safe is designed differently by having two doors where both doors are in and serve as a safety in the first door cracked. The second door has an electric circuit shock. Access to safe uses two types of passwords can be changed by the owner. Another advantage is that using a GSM modem as a liaison between the safes with the owner. Each execution of the safe will be notified to the owner via text message to mobile phone owners. Number to be replaced as well as desired. Each character passwords and destination number will be displayed on the LCD. Safe also features an alarm and LED indicator.

Abstract

In the automatic braking system is used fuzzy logic control to determine the value of the percentage of the brakes to be done. For input on fuzzy logic itself in the form of speed when driving the car on the distance between the car and the obstacle in front of him. The number of rules used in the fuzzy logic control totaling 28 .Rule contains a comparison between the speed of the car while driving and the distance between the obstacle in front of the car so as to produce brake percentage value that corresponds to the condition of the car while driving. Automatic braking system design is made in the form of a prototype car using Atmega microcontroller 32 as a processor. By using fuzzy logic with 28 rule, systems are made to be able to do better braking when the car drove at low speed or driving at high speed with a stopping distance of about ± 10cm up to ± 5cm. In addition, the system is designed not affect the car to be able to pass through a narrow area such as a garage, with the distance between the obstacle and the right part of the left side approximately ± 2cm.

Abstract

PC-104 Standard is widely used in satellite spacecraft because of its rugged and robust. OBDH (On Board Data Handling) in our design uses PC-104 standard. To fulfill the OBDH requirement in gathering the housekeeping data, extended PC-104 is needed to be designed. To design the extended PC104, Proteus software was used initially to simulate the electronic circuit application. In the Proteus Design, electronic circuit and components was created. The temperature sensor and voltage sensor was included to produce a precision data. To know the data value, LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) component was used to display the data value. It showed that the current sensor has a linear data with an average accuracy of 1.1 %. The final result in this research is extended PC-104 has been designed and ready to be implemented in to the real device.
