Andragogi Jurnal Diklat Teknis Pendidikan dan Keagamaan (p-ISSN 2620-5009, e-ISSN 2623-1190) is a periodical journal published by Pusdiklat Tenaga Teknis Pendidikan dan Keagamaan (Center of Education and Religious Technical Training), under The Ministry of Religion Affairs, Republic of Indonesia. The journal is aimed to disseminate information including scientific developments within the scope of education and religious. Andragogi was first published in printed form in 2013. It is published frequently twice a year, on June and December. In 2019 this journal is published twice a year with Open Journal System (OJS) based.

Abstract

[ANALYSIS OF THE PREPARATION AND PUBLICATION OF SCIENTIFIC PAPERS AS A BENCHMARK OF WIDYAISWARA’s COMPETENCE] This study aimed to describe the competence of widyaiswara, explain the inhibiting factors, and know the effort to increase the competence and professionalism of widyaiswara at Semarang Religious Training Center in composing and publishing the scientific paper. The method used in this study was an inductive qualitative method. The sampling technique by purposive sampling, data collection techniques are document review and interview. Data analysis techniques are using the Miles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the study showed that widyaiswara at Semarang Religious Training Center have understood and are competent in composing and publish of scientific paper. The inhibiting factors for widyaiswara in composing and publishing the scientific paper, are difficulty fulfilling the writing style and journal form, time, and lack of information on how to publish. Efforts to increase the competence and professionalism of widyaiswara in composing and publishing the scientific paper have been done by the management is organize scientific writing training, send widyaiswara to follow the training of trainer the scientific paper, middle and high tier training and academic writing activities.

Abstract

[MULTIMEDIA DEVELOPMENT OF LIFE SKILLS LEARNING IN FAMILY LIFE PREPARATION TRAINING FOR TEENAGERS AT THE FAMILY PLANNING POPULATION TRAINING CENTER OF GARUT] The purpose of this research is to produce Life Skills teaching materials easily and appropriately to be used in learning activities. This type of research is Research and Development with the ADDIE model. The research subjects were students at Balai Diklat KKB Garut of 30 students. The data collection technique uses a validation sheet. There are three stages of validation, namely: media expert validation, material expert validation, and user validation. The results of media expert validation show that this hypermedia-based Life Skills teaching material is very feasible with an average rating percentage of 88.57%. The results of material expert validation show that this hypermedia-based Life Skill learning multimedia is very feasible with an average rating percentage of 94.17%. The results of the user assessment show that this hypermedia-based Life Skill learning multimedia is feasible, with a percentage of 76.44%. Keywords: teaching materials, hypermedia, Life Skill.

Abstract

[MODERATION REGRESSION AND RELIGIOUS NARRATIVE IN SOCIAL MEDIA, MAINSTREAMING FACTS AND STRATEGIES] This paper discusses the decline of religious moderation in Indonesia and strategies to neutralize and restore religious moderation. The decline is seen through the decreasing level of tolerance both within and between religions and the growing numbers of religious intolerance narratives on various social media platforms. This is qualitative research by using secondary data produced by credible research institutions. This research found that the regression of religious moderation in Indonesia is a fact and social media has contributed significantly to the spread of intolerance narrative; in addition, social media has become a new religious reference, replacing the conventional authority. This study also sees the central role of educational institutions and civil society in restoring the spirit of religious moderation in Indonesia, also it finds the central role of stakeholders to work collaboratively across sectors.

Abstract

[THE IMPACT OF ONLINE LECTURES ON THE LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT OF THEOLOGY STUDENTS AT THE CIPANAS THEOLOGICAL COLLEGE] The Covid-19 pandemic has "forced", the education sector is no exception for religious higher education, such as STT to change face-to-face lectures into online lectures. There are many obstacles faced by universities in carrying out online lectures, such as the lack of absorption of lecture material delivered by lecturers, poor internet connections, difficulty adapting to online lectures. Generating worry will have an impact on decreasing student achievement. Several studies on the impact of online lectures on student achievement have been carried out by several universities, but for religious universities, it is still very rare, so it is necessary to immediately conduct research related to the impact of online lectures on student achievement in religious universities. The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of online lectures on student achievement in theological colleges. The research method used in this research, namely the experimental method, by comparing the average student achievement before online learning and after online learning. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the average student achievement before online learning and after online learning, where student learning achievement after online learning was higher than before online learning.

Abstract

[IMPLEMENTATION OF ONLINE GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING AT MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH IN EAST JAVA] Online guidance and counseling service is a service that is used during the pandemic. This study aims to describe the process and results of online counseling services in madrasas. The research method used is a survey with a descriptive approach. Research respondents were 383 students who received online guidance and counseling services at Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Questionnaires and interviews were used to collect the data. The instrument is uploaded in a google form, sent to the students through the guidance and counseling teachers. The questionnaire data were processed by descriptive statistics and analyzed through descriptive qualitative techniques. The results of this study indicate that online guidance and counseling services are carried out well. The online service process is fun and easy for students, the service is effective. There was an obstacle for several students due to the internet problem.

Abstract

[CULTIVATING ADAB TOWARDS THE QUR'AN FOR STUDENTS AT SD PLUS TAHFIZHUL QURAN ANNIDA SALATIGA] This study aims to determine the implementation of the cultivation of the Qur'anic adab which was carried out at PTQ Annida Elementary School Salatiga. This research is field research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. This study uses qualitative analysis, with a taxonomic analysis model. Adab is learning related to aspects of behavior and values, both in terms of individuals and society. There are many ways to instill etiquette in children, including the hiwar method, the uswatun hasanah method, the riyadhah method, the Ibrah method, and the story, the mau'idzah method, the targhib and tarhib methods as well as the Qur'anic and prophetic proverb methods. While some of the memorizations of the Qur'an that is instilled in children are to build a good relationship with the creator, avoid useless actions, build respect for the Qur'an as a holy book.

Abstract

[TRAINING PARTICIPANTS' PERCEPTIONS OF USING GOOGLE SITES IN LEARNING] The rapid development of internet technology in the digital era facilitates all activities of human life without exception in the field of training which has easy access in optimizing learning. One of the internet technologies that can be implemented in the application of learning during the COVID-19 period is by utilizing Google sites. The purpose of this study was to determine the trainees' perceptions of the use of google sites in learning. This study uses a survey method approach with a descriptive nature which aims to describe the circumstances or phenomena that occur. The results of the study indicate that multimedia-based learning media training with google sites is very necessary for participants in online learning and is useful for participants to provide subject matter to students because the content on google sites can be adapted to the needs of the learning process.

Abstract

[THE INFLUENCE OF LEARNING STYLES AND LEARNING METHODS ON LEARNING OUTCOMES OF RESEARCHER FUNCTIONAL TRAINING PARTICIPANTS] The influence of visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles, and aspects of the diversity of trainees in an effort to find appropriate learning methods, on the subject of analysis and interpretation of research data. The purpose of this study was to obtain an overview of aspects related to improving the learning outcomes of trainees and the achievement of learning objectives in the analysis and interpretation of research data. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire that was distributed online through the google form application, one day before learning, to all participants of the Pelatihan Pembentukan Jabatan Fungsional Peneliti (PPJFP), and resulted in a questionnaire that was received back as many as 139 questionnaires. Based on the results of the study, data were obtained which were then analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics with Two Way ANOVA. The results of the study show that: first, learning styles determine which learning methods are more attractive to participants; second, learning outcomes are influenced by differences in whether or not participants have received the previous material and third, there is no effect of different participants' learning styles on learning outcomes.

Abstract

Research on the use of Logico media to improve students' speaking skills in report text for high school students is still rarely done. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to describe and evaluate the effectiveness of Logico media in improving English proficiency in Report Text in class IX students of Room 1 MTs Negeri (State Islamic junior high school) 1 Kotawaringin Timur. This type of research is Classroom Action Research which is carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of 3 meetings with research procedures starting from planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were 31 students of Class IX Room 1 MTs Negeri 1 Kotawaringin Timur. The data in this study were obtained through tests, observations, interviews, and documentation. The data were then descriptively, quantitatively, and qualitatively analyzed. This study's findings show that Logico Media helps students in Room 1 of MTs Negeri 1 Kotawaringin Timur's Class IX improve their speaking skills and learning outcome. English-speaking skills increased from 19.84 percent to 85.64 percent by the end of cycle 2, while classical learning outcomes reached 100% with a percentage increase from 48.39 percent to 100 percent by cycle 2

Abstract

[VIOLENCE IN THE NAME OF RELIGION: A STUDY OF FUNDAMENTALISM, RADICALISM, AND EXTREMISM] This paper will examine fundamentalism, radicalism, and extremism based on a historical view to examine the root of the problem. The method used in this paper is a qualitative descriptive approach through historical-critical studies. The expected output of this study is an informative contribution so that it can put the right paradigm in viewing acts of violence with religious nuances. The terms fundamentalism and radicalism in the Western perspective are often associated with extreme attitudes, old-fashioned, stagnation, conservative, anti-Western, and hard to defend opinions, even with physical violence. The use of the term radicalism or fundamentalism for Muslims is not appropriate, because the radicalism movement is very contrary to Islamic teachings. The symptom of violent practices carried out by a group of Muslims, historically-sociologically, is more appropriate as a socio-political symptom than a religious phenomenon, even though they are waving religious banners. Terrorism is the anti-climax of extreme tendencies in views and attitudes.
