Abstract

This reseach was conducted on the project construction of abrasion beach located in the village of Biluhu middle district biluhu. Data collection was performed by questionnaires. The results of the survey questionnaire collected the 30 responpondents, then the data is analyzed with statistical analysis. Based on the test reliability coefficient obtained Cronbach Alpha of 0,637, thus it can be concluded that this variable realibe. The results of this study conducted with the test statistics and performed the ranking over the factors that cause the termination of the employment contract.based on the ranking, there are 8 (eight) factorsthat cause the occurrence of the termination of the emplyment contract that the employment relationship that is not harmonious with the owner, the method of implementation, shortage of labor, delays the star of the work, materials delivered are not in accordance, the working relationship that is not harmonious with the supervision consultant, the shortage of funds in the implementation of and mistake to interpret the image.

Abstract

The participation of the community in an implementation of the program or activity greatly affects the success of the program. This participation itself was born because of the factors from inside and outside the individual as members of that community group. This writing is based on a study that takes place in low-income community settlements in Tenilo RT II / RW II Kelota Kelota Gorontalo, Gorontalo Province with the aim of identifying the forms of community participation as well as the factors that influence the participation of the community in the implementation of the quality improvement program which is part of the Community-Based Settlement Environment Management (PLPBK) program by the government in the National Urban Empowerment Community Empowerment Program (PNPM-Mandiri Urban). The method used in this research is by qualitative analysis approach to analyze the primary and secondary data. The study finds that the form of community participation in the implementation of the program of improving the quality of settlements of low income community groups in Tenilo RT II / RW II Kelota District Gorontalo in the form of energy and goods . Internal factors that influence are gender, education, occupation, age, and income, while external factors as the incentive is the willingness, ability and opportunity.

Abstract

Pedagang Kaki Lima adalah salah satu jenis perdagangan dalam sektor informal yang merupakan suatu unit produksi dengan modal yang relatif kecil dengan jiwa wirausaha yang tinggi dan memiliki kegiatan perdagangan yang bersifat kompleks dengan memberikan masalah baik lingkungan, tata ruang, dan lain sebagainya yang terdapat dikota-kota besar di Indonesia. Faktor lokasi sangat penting dalam menentukan aktifitas dagang dari pedagang kaki lima tersebut, karena karakteristik pedagang kaki lima sangat sensitif terhadap lingkungan terutama bagi para pelaku aktifitas dan harus bersinggungan langsung dengan konsumen. Penelitian ini hadir dari permasalahan dimana semakin berkurangnya jumlah pedagang kaki lima yang ada di tempat relokasi saat ini. Hal ini menjadi dasar penelitian sehingga penulis melakukan analisis karakteristik pedagang kaki lima tersebut dengan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi dalam pemilihan lokasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan bahwa kebutuhan pedagang kaki lima dalam pemilihan lokasi di kota Manado dipengaruhi oleh faktor lokasi yang strategis, biaya yang murah dan pendapatan yang memadai untuk menunjang kelanjutan aktifitas dagang mereka. Faktor  kebijakan juga diperlukan dalam mendukung aktifitas dan identitas pedagang kaki lima di kota Manado dalam pengembangan perekonomian yang lebih dinamis dan pembentukan jiwa kewirausahaan untuk mendorong perkembangan kota Manado ke arah yang lebih baik.

Abstract

Surface Runoff occurs due to high rainfall that falls in an area that is able to caused flooding. Infiltration Biopori Technology serves to reduce storm water runoff is to increase the water absorbing soil thus reducing surface runoff that often causes floods. This research aim was to get the value of infiltration without biopori infiltration and infiltration with infiltration biopori, as well as obtaining the presentation of discharge runoff can be reduced by 1 piece infiltration biopori on a plot of land with an area of 100 m2. The research methods used quantitative methods. Primary data obtained from testing on-site infiltration studies used Single Tool Infiltrometer Ring with a diameter of 25 cm, were analyzed used the method of Horton Curve. Secondary data, precipitation last 10 years from the year 2006 to 2015 obtained from BMKG Djalaludin Gorontalo Airport consists of three stations that BPP-Tapa, Talumelito, Slamet Djalaludin Gorontalo, then analyzed used rational methods to obtain discharge of the runoff. Analysis of the results obtained, infiltration without absorption biopori was 4.5 cm / hour, once created biopori infiltration infiltration rate rose to 38.1 cm / hour, and 1 absorption biopori on a plot of land with an area of 100 m2 can reduce runoff discharge at 10.82%

Abstract

Botubarani Beach is a coastal tourist attraction that has activities that can stimulate economic growth for people who are on the coast. Research and identification of the handling of natural phenomena in the shoreline is needed to provide the right handling solution in order to avoid increasing the level of more severe damage. The purpose of this study is to analyze and plan the types and dimensions of the right coastal protection building at Botubarani Beach. Beach buildings are used to protect the coast against damage caused by wave and current attacks. Coastal buildings are classified into three groups according to their function, ie construction constructed on shore and parallel to the shoreline (revetment), constructed on a straight coastal and coastal (groin and jetty) constructions constructed offshore and approximately parallel to the coastline (breakwater). The results of data analysis and calculation found that the building that will be used to handle sedimentation in Botubarani Beach is a break water building with the type of building that is rubble mount. Plate water level elevation is 1,694 m and for selected tetrapod protected layer.

Abstract

Methanol (CH3OH) is the one of an alternative fuel for SI engine. Methanol has a similiar charakteristic and fisik properties to gasoline. This study using methanol-gasoline fuel blend (M10, M20 and M40). The aim of this study was to determine the effect of using methanol-gasoline fuel blend of  fuel consumption, exhaust emission, power and torque. In the experiment,  an engine three-cylidre 12 valve with tecnology DOHC Mivec and ECI MPI injection System 1193 cc was used. With a little modification that is using methanol controler to maximize the result of research. The experimental result showed that the fuel consumption decrease with the use of methanol-gasoline ful blend. Each of these reductions in fuel consumption for the M10, M20 and M40 are 1 %, 3% dan 3%. The Power and Torque is increas while using fuel blend than gasoline and it also decrease exhaust emission

Abstract

Abstract : Water wheels angle blade shape with a diameter of 1,000 m wheels, blade length of 0.25 m, and a blade width of 0.3 m. This study aims to determine the power and efficiency of the waterwheel. To test the water mill, then made a model of open channel with a channel length of 12.25 m, a width of 0.334 m channel, channel height of 6.0 m, and the angle of 450. The waterwheel power and efficiency can be determined by varying the flow rate of 0.050 m3/s to 0,032 m3/s at a load of 2 kg to 8 kg. Measurement of the flow rate by method of filling the bucket with a bucket voleme 50 L. To determine the flow rate through the duct bucket volume divided by the time it takes to fill the bucket.Abstrak : Kincir air bentuk sudu miring dengan diameter roda 1,000 m,  panjang sudu 0,25 m, dan lebar sudu 0,3 m. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui daya dan efisiensi kincir air. Untuk menguji kincir air tersebut, maka dibuatkan model saluran terbuka dengan panjang saluran 12,25 m, lebar saluran 0,334 m, tinggi saluran 6,0 m, dan sudut kemiringan 450. Daya dan efisiensi kincir air dapat diketahui dengan memvariasikan debit aliran 0,050 m3/s sampai 0,032 m3/s pada beban 2 kg sampai 8 kg. Pengukuran debit aliran dengan metode mengisi ember dengan voleme ember 50 L. Untuk mengetahui debit aliran yang melalui saluran maka volume ember dibagi dengan waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk mengisi ember tersebut.

Abstract

Energy is a major need in human life, but along with the population growth will be the availability of electrical energy especially that from fossil fuels are being reduced and insufficient for the needs of small-scale electric power listrik.Pembangkit potential as an alternative to fossil energy sources namely renewable micro hydro power plant availability of electricity in remote villages in the district of Bone Bolango is alarming, so it was done research on Analysis of Potential Development of micro hydro power plant (MHP) in Bone regency Bolango. This study aims to provide an overview and preliminary information on the potential of hydropower as a basis for planning and development of micro hydro power plant. In this research will be outlined potential sites for the development of MHP with power potential, specifications turbindan civilian buildings. Measurement of power was awakened by the amount of streamflow in Mongiilo Desa Ulu Subdistrict Bolango Bone Bolango District. Debit analyzed based on observation of the flow rate by using a current meter. From the analysis of the amount of power potential in getting aroused in the research area of 289,935Kw with ideal flow 12.14 m3 / sec, the average efficiency of 65% with the plan fell 3.75 m high. This power is sufficient magnitude elektrifitas needs of residents in the study area that is equal to 65kW.

Abstract

The production of the crude oil in Indonesia is slowly deceasing by the year, while the consumption of the fuel is still increasing. The matter being comparable within its consumtion is that it makes Indonesia keep impoerting the fuel in order to fulfill its need in every year. It is because there is no new invention of the new oil-mill. Thus, a new penetration to provide an alternative fuel to press the consumption level is needed. Ethanol however, is one of the newest alternative fuels which can be used as the additional substance of the use of the fossil fuel. Ethanol contains of up to 35% oxygen so that it will produce the perfect combustion even if it is in small unit of substance. The aim of this research was to find out the effect of the use of the mixture of the ethanol-pertalite toward the fuel combustion. The research was using the Honda Scoopy 110 cc motorcycle with 1 cylinder injection system. The liquid tank is designed by using plastic container so that it will be possible to be detached and paired to make the consumtion measuring easier. The test vehicle was operated above chasis dynamometer. Engine scanner, especially for Honda was used to sett the rpm, finding out the throotle position, ignition timing, oxygen sensor and the ratio of water fuel. The result of the research was showing that the use of the mixture fuel E-40 is the best mixture, in which E-40 usage is 14,3% more frugal rather that the combustion of the pure pertalite.

Abstract

Research on the use of limboto lake sludge as raw material for bricks by adding sand as a mixture of materials using experimental quantitative research. In the study used limboto lake silt with sand mixture with variations of2%, 5%, 7%, 10% and 15%. Related variables are physical and mechanical properties of bricks. The controlling variable is the materials used.The results showed that bricks with raw material from limboto lake sludge with a mixture of sand with variations of 2%,5%, 7%, 10% and 15% did not produce the right composition to have the same quality of bricks with bricks using raw materials clay. Penelitian pemanfaatan endapan lumpur danau limboto sebagai bahan baku batu bata dengan penambahan pasir sebagai bahan campurnya menggunakan penalitian kuantitatif yang bersifat eksperimen. Dalam penelitian digunakan bahan endapan lumpur danau limboto dengan campuran pasir dengan variasi 2%, 5%, 7%, 10% dan 15%. Variabel terkait berupa sifat fisik dan mekanik batu  bata. Variabel pengendali adalah bahan-bahan yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa batu bata dengan bahan baku endapan lumpur danau limboto dengan campuran pasir dengan variasi 2%, 5%, 7% 10% dan 15% tidak  menghasilkan komposisi yang tepat untuk memiliki kualitas batu bata yang sama dengan batu bata yang menggunakan bahan baku tanah liat.
