Abstract

This research aims to look at how to improve the role of educators in the learning process, especially through Paulo Freire's problematic education concept. As it can achieve the expected goals in the learning process, the role of educators is very important. This study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive design in which it provides a careful description of certain individuals or groups about the conditions and symptoms that occur. In this study, the author uses data techniques based on analyzing the thoughts, biographies, and especially in the concept of problems with the perspective of Paulo Freire descriptively. Traditional methods are still widely used by educators today who are lacking in the learning process, which according to Paulo Freire is called the concept of bank style or the existence of oppression of students, with educators as the dominating party, and arguably are the same direction as students. In this case, the author uses the concept of Education Against Problems to streamline the learning process that can be used to achieve a goal.  The educator along with the learner is placed as an educational subject who knows himself, in order to achieve more knowledge in the form of purity and knowledge as an object. Therefore both parties are in the same position as learners, and interact in providing knowledge information in a straight line.

Abstract

Face-to-face learning activities in the current conditions found that there are still students who have difficulty in solving the problem in the topic of shapes. This can be seen from the fact that the success of students in problem solving is still low because students think mathematics is difficult as mathematics is abstract and uses symbols or language. In this study, the researchers wanted to find out more about the types of student learning difficulties in solving questions about shapes and the factors that cause student learning difficulties. This research was conducted using case study research. Collecting data was done to determine students' learning difficulties by using the methods of tests, observations, interviews, and documentation as complementary data in the hope of explaining the types and factors of learning difficulties in problem solving abilities. The results showed that the students had weakness in numeracy, weakness in knowledge, weakness in mathematical language, and visual perception. This is due to the lack of understanding of students' knowledge of mathematical concepts and arithmetic operations, as well as students' lack of accuracy. The factors that cause students to have learning difficulties are giving students negative responses to mathematics lessons, low student motivation, lack of guidance and assistance from family members, and limited time for face-to-face learning.

The purpose of this study was to find out how the teacher's role in instilling an attitude of religious tolerance in elementary school. The research method used was a qualitative approach with descriptive qualitative methods. research in the form of observations and interviews as well as documentation related to the role of teachers in instilling an attitude of religious tolerance. The result of the research that has been done is that the teacher plays a good role in instilling an attitude of religious tolerance. Inculcating an attitude of religious tolerance to students such as teaching attitudes, not cornering students, the ability to motivate in various ways ,and giving real examples in everyday life. The conclusion obtained from the research that has been done is that teachers play a role in instilling religious tolerance in students so that students can apply the values of religious tolerance in schools.

Abstract

In the observations that have been made by the researcher, the researcher chose the problem of difficulty in the beginning process of writing in class. Starting to write is considered as the basis for improving and developing students' abilities at the next level, so this study aims to find out the difficulties faced by researchers. experienced by students and find out the factors that cause students to have difficulty writing at the beginning. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach where researchers want to know the writing difficulties that exist in class students and researchers want to know the factors causing difficulties in writing. Sources of data obtained from observations and interviews with students. Data Analysis and Interpretation Techniques in this study used the theory of Miles and Huberman with data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The data of this research are in the form of words, phenomena, photos, attitudes, and daily behavior in schools which were obtained by researchers from observations, interviews, and documentation. This research can be used to see what factors cause difficulties. The findings of the study indicate that difficulties often experienced by students such as the use of capital letters, determining the distance of writing that there is still a distance between one letter and another, writing is incomplete, less proportional.

Abstract

This study is a quantitative study through a causal approach with the purpose of determining the effect of digital literacy on the results of students' learning autonomy in the 2019 COVID situation. This study was conducted to test the validity of the instrument using the formula Person Product Moment correlation and reliability test using Cronbach's Alpha formula. The sample in this study was 42 students of the Elementary School, which was obtained using the Taro Yamane formula. This quantitative research was continued with the requirements test of data analysis using the Normality, Homogeneity, and Linearity tests. The average value for the digital literacy variable is 84.73 and the average value for the learning independence variable is 78.29. The results showed that there was an effect of digital literacy on learning independence, which was indicated by the path coefficient (pxy) of 0.70. This shows the influence of digital literacy on learning independence, while the coefficient of determination (r2) is 0.49 or 49%. This means that the value of the influence of digital literacy on learning independence is 49%, through the regression equation Y =(10.49 + 0.8X). Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that there is a positive influence of digital literacy on the learning independence of students in the 2019 COVID situation.
