Abstract

Pada volume ketujuh nomor dua ini, kami menghadirkan tujuh artikel hasil penelitian tentang pengembangan keuangan, pemasaran, dan sumber daya manusia. Edisi ini diawali oleh dua hasil penelitian di bidang keuangan. Dalam penelitiannya, Mansyur mengungkap tentang bagaimana pengaruh risiko suku bunga dan risiko nilai tukar valuta asing bank terhadap profitabilitas perusahaan subsektor bank pada Bursa Efek Indonesia. Selanjutnya, Yanuariska dan Ardiati menguji kembali pengaruh kondisi keuangan, audit tenure, dan ukuran KAP terhadap opini audit going concern yang menggunakan perusahaan manufaktur dari tahun 2012-2016. Kajian berikutnya beralih ke pengembangan bidang pemasaran melalui tulisan Lestari yang melakukan kajian secara komprehensif tentang pengaruh price discount dan bonus pack terhadap nilai hedonik dan impulse buying, pengaruh nilai hedonik terhadap impulse buying, dan nilai hedonik sebagai mediasi pengaruh price discount dan bonus pack terhadap impulse buying. Sajian edisi ini dilengkapi dengan empat hasil penelitian di bidang sumber daya manusia. Pertama, Santoso mengungkapkan bahwa pengungkapan CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) internal dari dimensi employee support dirasakan sangat memotivasi dosen untuk meningkatkan kualitas kerja dan profesionalisme dosen, meskipun salah satu indikator employee support yakni pemberian penggajian pokok belum terlalu memuaskan bagi dosen. Kedua, Berliana dan Arsanti mengajukan tujuh hipotesis penelitian untuk dilakukan pengujian atas pengaruh self-efficacy, kapabilitas, dan perilaku kerja inovatif terhadap kinerja. Ketiga, Hidayati dan Saputra menempatkan kepuasan kerja sebagai variabel antara pada pengaruh kepemimpinan, kompensasi, komunikasi, dan motivasi kerja terhadap turnover intention pegawai. Keempat, Sularso menggunakan Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA) untuk mengungkap lima dari tujuh pengaruh langsung yang terbukti signifikan terhadap kinerja dan kepuasan dokter muda di Rumah Sakit dr. Soetomo Surabaya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of interest rate risk and exchange rate risk on the profitability of the company sub-sector of the bank in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This study uses panel data from 24 bank financial statements from 2011-2014. The analysis technique uses path analysis with Smart PLS 3.0. Exogenous variables of interest rate risk and foreign exchange rate risk and endogenous variables are profitability. The results of the study found that interest rate risk positively and significantly affects the profitability and exchange rate risk negatively and significantly affects the profitability of the company sub-sector of the bank in Indonesia Stock Exchange.

Abstract

Going concern audit opinion is the survival of a company. A company that is considered unable to maintain its survival will receive going concern audit opinion. This opinion is bad news for users of financial statements (Astuti and Darsono, 2012). This research was conducted at manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2012 until 2016. Based on the criteria of research sample, it was obtained 400 research samples. The purpose of this research was to discover the effect of financial condition, audit tenure, and the size of public accountant office on going concern audit opinion. The results of this study indicated that the financial condition had a positive effect on going concern audit opinion, audit tenure had negative effect on going concern audit opinion, and the size of public accountant office had no effect on going concern audit opinion.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the Price Discount and Bonus Pack to the Hedonic Shopping Value as well as its impact on Impulse Buying of Carrefour customers in Surakarta. The results of this study show that the price discount and bonus pack have influence on hedonic shopping value and impulse buying. This study also shows that the hedonic shopping value is an intervening variables that can mediate the effect of price discount and bonus pack variables on impulse buying.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the effect of disclosure of Internal Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with dimensions of diversity (X1) and employee support (X2) against the performance of a lecturer (Y) at the University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. The population in this research is the entire existing lecturer in University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo totalling 187 people using proportional stratified further allocated by random sampling techniques. The taking of the sample uses the Slovin's formula with a defined precision of 5% found the total number of respondents as a sample research as much a withdrawal of samples of research done using proportional stratified random sampling found the number of research sample as much as 120 respondents. The results of this study found that internal CSR dimension i.e. diversity and employee support a positive and significant effect against lecturers’ performance improvements in the scope of the University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. So it can be inferred that the work environment at the University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo relating to diversity, there is no element of intimidation with regard to issues of gender, race, tribe, and religion so that it is managed to encourage lecturers to improve its performance. Similarly, the disclosure of the internal dimension of CSR employee support felt very motivating lecturers to enhance the quality of work and professionalism of lecturers, although one of the indicator of employee support i.e. administering payroll subject matter has not too fulfilling for lecturers.

Abstract

The relative power of personal factors such as self-efficacy, capability, and innovative work behaviour in predicting performance was tested with 40 teachers through a survey. The variables’ measurements are adapted from Avallone et al., (2007), Menon and Kohli (1999), Jong and Hartog (2008), and Campbell (1990). Path analysis were used to test the hypotheses. Our findings showed that all of hypotheses were accepted. The hypotheses stated that innovative work behaviour as a mediator variable were accepted in this study.

Abstract

Leadership, compensation, communication, and work motivation positively affect the job satisfaction. Otherwise, job satisfaction negatively affect turnover intention. The results of 83 respondents of FTI UPN Veteran Yogyakarta employees can be explained as follows, it is proved significanly that there is an indirect influence of leadership, compensation, communication, and work motivation to turnover intention with job satisfaction as intermediate variable. While the direct effect of those variables are not significant. Between the four independent variables, the most dominant influence to increase job satisfaction and subsequently lower turnover intention is the work motivation.

Abstract

Job satisfaction and performance of co-assistant doctors can not be separated by burnout, given the high mobility of work in clinical studies and assisting clinical lecturers in serving patients. Burnout is a psychological syndrome consisting of three dimensions, namely emotionalexhaustion, depersonalization, and low personal accomplisment. To achieve the performance and job satisfaction of young physicians with intervening emotional intelligence and self-efficacy can anticipate burnout. This study includes the type of explanatory research with cross-sectional data collection method. The sample size is the same as the population of 270 co-assistants with the Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA) method. The results of this study found that from seven direct effects between the variables tested, there are five significant effects that are: (1) burnout have a significant effect on emotional intelligence; (2) burnout have a significant effect on self-efficacy; (3) self-efficacy have a significant effect on emotional intelligence; (4) emotional intelligence has a significant effect on performance, and (5) self-efficacy has a significant effect on performance, while (1) burnout has no significant effect on self-efficacy; and (2) co-assistant performance has no significant effect on co-assistant doctor job satisfaction.
