Abstract

Organizational commitment plays a role in determning the employee’s performance. Such a commitment is affected by transformational and transactional style of a leadership. Effects of transformational and transactional style of a leadership toward the employee’s performance are to be determined, with organizational commitment as the intervening variable. Research on 70 employees of CV. CGY showed that the transformational and transactional leadership style, partially and wholly, affect the organizational commitment positively and significantly. The effect of the transformational leadership style is more dominant than the transactional style.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to describe the effect of job insecurity on job satisfaction and demographic aspects as moderator variables. Demographics such as gender and age of past research showed that women have a higher job insecurity than men and also with age, the less employees feel a threat to their jobs. Quantitative methods through a survey used in this study. The results showed that job insecurity influence on job satisfaction, gender and age moderated the effect of job insecurity on job satisfaction.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze institutional capacity the PEW Group Members, and analyzing institutional performance, and formulate strategies and institutional capacity building programs in the PEW Group of local economic development in the city of Yogyakarta. The method used in this study is a qualitative method. Data collection techniques used are: observation, documentation studies, in-depth interviews, and questionnaires. Assessment strategies in the analysis of this problem using the Logical Framework Analysis . Repayment rates in Sub Pringgokusuman PEW group 76% (25 groups) are classified as current, 12% classified as substandard, and there are 4 groups (12%) were classified as jammed. Judging from the direction of development of the group based on the performance aspects of the organization, administration, financing, production and rooting business. There are 18 (54.55%) groups were included in the growth category, and 15 (45.45%) group included in the category of development, while the group in the category are not independent. Formulation of institutional capacity strengthening program group includes: 1) Improvement Skills Productive Economic Business Members, 2) Strengthening Institutions Norm, 3) Administrative Arrangement group, and 4) Increased Capital to expand cooperative network.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of stress at work and workload the performance as partial and simultaneous toward to SKPD performance in Kabupaten Sintang Kalimantan Barat. This study had used Descriptive Quantitative methode as main methode and Exhaustive Sampling as sampling methode. Sample were taken as a whole from thepopulation, that is 75 employees. Data were taken by using list of question, interviews, and literature searching. Data were analyzed by using Regression Methode and through SPSS program for Windows. The result of the study have shown that stress at work and workload significantly influence the employee’s performance, with value of determintation was 0,681 or 68,1%. Stress at work and workload had significantly influencing employee’s to SKPD performance in Sintang Kalimantan Barat. For the next study, all considered, would be better if the next researcher added another variables that maybe had some contribution in employee’s performance, such as working satisfication, neighbourhood, culture in work, reward, compensation and personality.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of convenience to dependency toward smartphone, the effect of social need to dependency toward smartphone, the effect of social influence to dependency toward smartphone, the effect of dependency toward smartphone on repurchase intention, and the effect of dependency toward smartphone on technostress. This research have five hypotheses. Data were collected from 170 respondents which got from questionnaire distributed to graduate degree students of Universitas Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta. Based of the data collection, this analysis using structural equation modeling technique with software LISREL 8.72. The results of this research showed that convenience, social need, and social influence have positive and significant effects to dependency, while the dependency have positive and significant effects to repurchase intention and technostress. All (five) hypotheses on this research have been accepted. Each of those hypotheses discussed in detail through this article.

Abstract

These days corporate world faces tight competition, so that marketing function in company become of vital importance. One of the strategies to interrogate that by using marketing concept. Implementation of marketing concept that is market orientation, consist of customer orientation, competitor orientation and inter function coordination, and also competitive advantage will improve efficacy of industrial effort. Research on 50 respondent of batik industry in Yogyakarta showed that customer orientation, competitor orientation, inter function coordination and competitive advantage proven improve efficacy of industrial effort by significant, both all variable (F-test) and also partially (t-test). Result of multiple correlation very strong (R = 0.92), most dominant variable is customer orientation (highest r2).

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the influence of service quality to customer satisfaction in RM Bujang. The sample in this study is the customer who ever ate at RM Bujang. Samples were collected by using a accidental sampling. There are 150 responder which have been fulfilling the conditions needed. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis. The result of the study showed that service quality consists of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and emphaty effect on customer satisfaction. The result of multiple regression analysis showed that variable the reliability and emphaty has a coefficient of 0.710 and 0.922. The result of the study showed that service quality consist of tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and emphaty to customer satisfaction has given Adjusted R Square of 0,474 0r 47,3%.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of advertising in print media, electronic media, and social media to consumer decisions in choosing Telkomsel cellular operators, the magnitude influence of each independent variable and the most dominant variable influence the consumer decisions. This study explains the relationship between research variables through hypothesis testing. The data collection method in this research is survey with questionnaire tools. Population in this research is all of the consumer of Telkomsel cellular operator. The quantity of sample used in this research is 40 respondents. Hypothesis testing uses multiple regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis in this research indicate that the variables of print media, electronic media, and social media influence to consumer decisions. The magnitude of influence of print media is 7%, electronic media 27.7%, and social media 41.1%. The most dominant influence of the variable is the print media variable.

Abstract

This paper examines the effect of tax system quality, audit risk, accountability, and tax penalty towards tax compliance. The purpose of this paper is to seek empirical proof does those factors affecting tax compliance have a positive effect and play a significant role for individual tax compliance in Indonesia. The researcher decides to sample taxpayers working for Organisasi Kelompok Kontrak Kerjasama (KKKS) in BPMIGAS Indonesia. A survey questionnaire is distributed to the sample during October 2012 by email as research data. By employing simple descriptive statistics, the study on taxpayers working for BPMIGAS Indonesia found out that all variables: tax system quality, audit risk, accountability, and tax penalty shows a positive effect towards tax compliance. The findings of this research implied that the government should put more concern in terms or service quality, transparency, and tax related facts to be informed for individual taxpayers.

Abstract

Performance is the work result of the employees to achieve of some company goals. The purpose of this researches is to determine the effect of leadership and work motivation to the employee performance as partial and simultaneous at the UPT Pasar I Kabupaten Sleman. Research using multiple regression analysis. The result showed leadership and work motivation a significant positive effect on employee performance. It was also concluded thatleadership variable dominanly influenced on employee performance compared to work motivation.
