Abstract

Knowledge sharing is an important process in the development of knowledge, especialy for higher education such as universities. Knowledge sharing process can happen to students in the form of discussion. However, in the process there are several factors that hamper the process of discussion among students. This study aims to find and identify the barriers that exist in the process of discussion. Sources of data are primary obtained initially through observation then through interviews on 17 students of management program. The results of this study indicate the existence of some barriers that inhibit the process of discussion in the classroom. The barriers found in this study are identified as barriers of individual and organizational factors.

Abstract

This paper discusses (1) power relation pattern between emping maker labor and employer in managing emping mlinjo industry, (2) female group “Tani Rejo” as female labor association in internal affair or in relation to external actor, and (3) implication occurring due to emerging female labor association. The paper is based on research done on female labor of emping industry in Ngaliyan village, Limpung district, Batang regency, Central Java province. Result of the research indicates that (1) women associated in Tani Rejo group leave from social construction binding them for long time. They use it as economic and sociological association. (2) by joining in Tani Rejo group, female labor get welfare benefit in material and non material aspects and democracy, polity education and other supporting insight that is very useful in social setting and household. (3) From activities the group does indicate that negotiation strategy is social tradition transformation to economic area. The social tradition is social capital the female labors have. Social capital is transformed into formal organization. Then, the organization does economic activities using social capital. (4) Existence of Tani Rejo as social modal did not give significant implication in relation between labor and employers, because Tani Rejo emerge as new actor that is still weak in human resource and capital resource.

Abstract

This research aims to examine and analyze the effect of disclosure of Internal Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with dimensions of diversity (X1) and employee support (X2) against the performance of a lecturer (Y) at the University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. The population in this research is the entire existing lecturer in University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo totalling 187 people using proportional stratified further allocated by random sampling techniques. The taking of the sample uses the Slovin's formula with a defined precision of 5% found the total number of respondents as a sample research as much a withdrawal of samples of research done using proportional stratified random sampling found the number of research sample as much as 120 respondents. The results of this study found that internal CSR dimension i.e. diversity and employee support a positive and significant effect against lecturers’ performance improvements in the scope of the University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. So it can be inferred that the work environment at the University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo relating to diversity, there is no element of intimidation with regard to issues of gender, race, tribe, and religion so that it is managed to encourage lecturers to improve its performance. Similarly, the disclosure of the internal dimension of CSR employee support felt very motivating lecturers to enhance the quality of work and professionalism of lecturers, although one of the indicator of employee support i.e. administering payroll subject matter has not too fulfilling for lecturers.

Abstract

Pearls is a system of 44 financial ratios which the World Council of Credit Unions (WOCCU) employs to provide a detailed picture of credit union operations. Standing for Protection, Effective Financial Structure, Asset Quality, Rates of Return, Liquidity, and Signs of Growth, the Pearls system was originally designed and implemented with Guatemalan credit unions in the late 1980s. WOCCU now uses it worldwide to monitor the performance of credit unions, to create a universal language that each credit union can speak and understand, to generate comparative credit union rankings, and to provide the framework for a supervisory unit at the second tier. Also, Pearls presents financial variables upon which credit unions can base their business planning. In essence, Pearls was designed first as a management tool, and later became an effective supervisory mechanism.

Abstract

Special Unit for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas) is an institution established by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia through Presidential Regulation (Perpres) No. 9 of 2013 on the Management of Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities. The task of SKK Migas is to manage the upstream oil and gas business activities based on cooperation contracts. The purpose of the establishment of this institution so that retrieval of natural resources of oil and gas owned by the State can provide maximum benefit and acceptance for the state to the greatest prosperity of the people. Based on these tasks and objectives, SKK Migas is responsible to the state and all Indonesian people to work properly, honestly, fairly, cleanly, transparently and competently in order to achieve good governance of state institutions. Therefore, internal monitoring (internal audit) and accountability of its human resources are required. This research has a purpose to test the influence of internal audit and human resource accountability to the achievement of good governance at SKK Migas institution. This research uses survey method with population of all staffs of SKK Migas. Sampling method used is sampling with purposive sampling technique. In this study, 145 samples were taken. Methods of data collection was done by using questionnaires containing several questions with the method of data analysis using multiple regression. The result of this research is to accept both hypothesis which is internal audit have positive effect toward the achievement of good governance in SKK Migas. And the accountability of human resources positively affect the achievement of good governance in SKK Migas.

Abstract

This research aims to test the influence of modern tax administration to tax auditor ethical sensitivity in DJP (Direktorat Jenderal Pajak) Jakarta Regional Office. Sample in this research is tax auditor in DJP Jakarta Regional Office. Sample selection is performed based on purposive sampling, there are 182 responder which have been fulfilling the conditions needed. Data collecting conducted by disseminating questionare. The analyzed use the multiple regression. Result of research shows that modern tax administration consist of officer ethics code, etics committee and renumeration have influence to tax auditor ethical sensitivity in DJP Jakarta Regional Office. The result shows that the effects of modern tax administration consist of officer ethics code, etics committee and renumeration to ethical sensitivity has R Square of 0,321 or 32,1%.

Abstract

Strike wich happened in some companies usualy caused by unsatisfied condition for employee. The strike may inflicts a loss upon the company because it may disturb lead to un achieve of some company goals. Increasing work satisfaction is affected by financial or physical satisfaction (hard approach) and psycological or social satisfaction (soft approach). It was revealed that hard and soft approach showed a significan negative effect on strike potential. It was also concluded that hard approach variable dominanly influenced on strike potential compared to soft approach. It was also concluded that the compoany have implemented the hard and soft approach to minimize the strike potential.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of emotional intelligence, the level of idealism, learning behavior and the locus of control of students to the understanding of accounting. The sample consists of accounting students in Banyumas District. Data analysis using SPSS. The results showed that the emotional intelligence, the level of idealism, and the locus of control students influence the understanding of accounting, while the behavior of learning proved not to affect the understanding of accounting.

Abstract

Ministry of Rural Regulation No. 6 Year 2014 about rural area said that the rural area has grown so it needs to be protected and empowered to be strong, advanced, independent, and democratic area, so as to create a strong foundation to implement governance and development towards a fair, affluent, and prosperous society. In fact, the equitable distribution of infrastructure and suprastructure is not evenly distributed in each village. This can be seen from the Rural Developing Index (IDM) stating the status of rural area development progress. Based on the IDM of Indonesia in 2015, that 45.57% (33,592 villages) were underdeveloped villages and 18.25% (13,453 villages) were very under-developed villages out of a total of 73,709 villages in Indonesia. The Village Head's job is to lead the administration of the Village Government. This study aims to determine the effect of Self-Leadership and Achievement Motivation Training on the Performance of Village Head in Gunung Kidul Regency of Yogyakarta Province. Based on the result of hypothesis testing by using Anova Repeated Measure, where the result shows that F = 11186,541 with significance level 0,000 (p <0,01), it proves that there is a very significant difference between pre-test, post-test, and follow-up.
