Abstract

THE APPLYING AUDIO-VISUAL MEDIA TO THE IMPROVEMENT OF WRITING SKILL OF DESCRIPTIVE TEXT IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL (SMP NEGERI 3 KOTA BOGOR)The research aims to find out the improvement of VII grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Kota Bogor in writing descriptive essays using audio visual media. The method used in this study is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. Data collection was carried out by the method of observation, field notes, tests, interviews, and student questionnaires. This research was conducted in two cycles. One cycle consists of four stages, namely: action planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed an increase in the average value of students' understanding of writing descriptions through audio-visual media. During the first cycle, the average student score was 70.86 or are at the level of completeness 73.12%. While during the second cycle, the average student score was 79.89 or 90.74% completeness level. An increase also occurred in the motivation and activeness of students in learning and in completing assignments.

Abstract

ABSTRACTAThis study applied associative quantitative approach and correlational study on parents guidance as the free variable and students discipline as the bound variable. The main objective of this study is to investigate the strengths or weaknesses of the correlation between parents guidance and students discipline. The subject of this study was students of VB and VC classes from Ciampea 01 State Elementary School Bogor Regency, Even Semester, 2016/2017 Study Year, which were 90 students in total and 47 respondents were taken as samples. The validation of parents guidance and students discipline instruments was done through Microsoft Excel program with Pearson Product Moment formula. Meanwhile, instruments reliability was counted through Alpha Cronbach formula. The studys hypothesis instrument validation was done through a simple regression analysis with ? = -25,02 + 1,35X which means that the functional correlation is significant. In this study, each ascension of parents guidance unit will increase 1,35 unit of students discipline. The simple correlation trial states that (rxy) is 0,97 which means that the correlation between two variables is very strong, while the coefficient of determaination (r2) is 0,95 which means that parents guidance gives 95% contribution to students discipline. The rest 5% is determined by other factors. Based on the results of study above, it can be concluded that there is a positive correlation between parents guidance and students discipline.Keywords : Parents Guidance and Students Discipline

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran apa adanya tentang bagaimana keterampilan mahasiswa PGSD yang sedang melaksanakan Program Pengalaman Lapangan di 5 (lima) sekolah dasar di Bogor. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini merupakan hasil analisis dokumen, observasi, dan wawancara dengan guru, siswa, dan mahasiswa PGSD. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN Semeru I, SDN Polisi 4, SDN Semplak I, SDN Lawanggintung I, dan SDN Lawanggintung II Bogor. Jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berbentuk narasi, uraian, penjelasan, dan penilaian dari informan baik lisan maupun tulisan yang dideskripsikan dalam bentuk catatan lapangan, angket, dan dokumentasi. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa PGSD yang sedang melaksanakan PPL di SDN Semeru I, SDN Polisi 4, SDN Semplak I, SDN Lawanggintung I, dan SDN Lawanggintung II Bogor. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah dosen pembimbing PPL dan guru pamong di SDN Semeru I, SDN Polisi 4, SDN Semplak I, SDN Lawanggintung I, dan SDN Lawanggintung II Bogor. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan menjelaskan sudah dikuasai dengan sangat baik. Sedangkan keterampilan bertanya, keterampilan membuka dan menutup pelajaran, keterampilan membimbing diskusi kelompok kecil, keterampilan mengajar kelompok kecil dan perseorangan, keterampilan mengelola kelas, dan keterampilan memberikan penguatan sudah memperoleh hasil yang baik. Keterampilan mengadakan variasi memperoleh hasil yang cukup baik.Kata Kunci : keterampilan bertanya, keterampilan menjelaskan, keterampilan membuka dan menutup pelajaran, keterampilan memberikan penguatan, keterampilan mengelola kelas, keterampilan membimbing diskusi kelompok kecil, keterampilan mengajar kelas kecil dan perorangan, keterampilan mengadakan variasi, mahasiswa PGSD.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitik. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pembelajaran biologi berbasis multiple intellegence di SMA Inklusi School of Human Jatisampurna Bekasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan mulai Januari  – Juli 2018 dengan beberapa informan yaitu guru biologi, direktur sekolah, principal sekolah, kepala sekolah, kepala kurikulum, kepala ruang inklusi, buddy, siswa dan orang tua siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitik terhadap subjek penelitian yang ada di lapangan dan diperoleh data yang berasal dari wawancara dan observasi, serta data dari studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan analisis data yag dilakukan melalui analisis antar situs dan dalam situs, pembelajaran biologi berbasis multiple intellegence dibagi menjadi 3 proses diantaranya perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Perencanaan pembelajaran dimulai dengan siswa melakukan tes MIR (multiple intellegence research) untuk melihat dominansi kecerdasan siswa. Kompetensi inti mengacu pada main subject yaitu character building, creativity, enterpreneur, dan problem solving. Aktivitas pembelajaran dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan saintifik. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran guru menggunakan multistrategi mengajar dalam memfasilitasi pembelajaran. Evaluasi pembelajaran menggunakan penilaian autentik terdiri dari afektif sikap, kognitif pengetahuan, psikomotorik keterampilan dengan laporan perkembangan siswa berupa raport portopolio yang berisi perkembangan character building, creativity, enterpreneur, dan problem solving. Pembelajaran berbasis multiple intellegence menyebabkan gaya mengajar guru sesuai dengan gaya belajar siswa. Kata kunci: Pembelajaran Berbasis Multiple Intellegence, Perencanaan Pembelajaran, Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran ,Evaluasi Pembelajaran, Multiple Intellegence ResearchABSTRACTThis research is a qualitative research with descriptive analytics method. The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze biology-based multiple intelligence learning in the Inclusion School of Human Jatisampurna High School Bekasi. The study was conducted from January to July 2018 with several informants, namely biology teachers, school directors, school principals, headmaster, heads of curriculum, heads of inclusion rooms, buddies, students and parents of students. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach with descriptive analytical methods for the research subjects in the field and obtained data derived from interviews and observations, as well as data from documentation studies. Based on data analysis carried out through analysis between sites and on the site, biology learning based on multiple intelligence is divided into 3 processes including planning, implementing, and evaluating. Learning planning begins with students doing MIR (multiple intelligence research) tests to see the dominance of students' intelligence. Core competencies refer to the main subject, namely character building, creativity, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving. Learning activities were carried out with a scientific approach. The implementation of teacher learning uses multi-strategic teaching in facilitating learning. Evaluation of learning uses authentic assessment consisting of affective attitudes, cognitive knowledge, psychomotor skills with student development reports in the form of portfolio portfolios that contain the development of character building, creativity, entrepreneurship, and problem-solving. Abstract

Gusnadi, penelitian yang diberi judul An Investigation of Listening Problems Encountered by 1st Semester Students in Foundation of Listening Subject bertujuan untuk menggambarkan dan mencari kesulitan-kesulitan mahasiswa pada belajar Foundation of Listening. Observasi, angket, dan list interview digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data secara qualitiatif. Adapun hasil temuan yang diperoleh antara lain; mahasiswa kesulitan memahami apa yang diperdengarka, mahasiswa mendapatkan kesuliatan pada saat mengambil inti dari apa yang diperdengarkan. Masalah lain adalah masalah teknis yang terkadang sangat mengganggu keberlangsungan pembelajaran Listening. Abstract

ABSTRACTFacilitation in education is something that can support teaching learning process at school. Laboratory is one of the important facilitation because the lab is a place where students can practice their skill through demonstration, experiment, and development of knowledge. The aim of this research is to know the availability of science laboratories in public high school and private high school in Bogor and compared it with minister regulation No. 24 year 2007. Descriptive method is used in this research with five schools chosen randomly as sample. Data collection techniques used in this research is observation and interview. The result of the finding shows that judging from five schools that has been observed which are SMA Al-Nur, SMA PGRI 4, SMAN 7, SMAN 4 and SMA PGRI 4 they are all not qualified with the minister regulation No.24 year 2007 about standard issue facilitation of high school laboratory which requires 2.4 m2 wide per student.Keyword: Senior High School, Laboratories, Facilitation

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research is an action research aiming at improving the learning output of social science using cooperative learning model of Numbered Head Together. The subjects of the research are the fifth grade students of Sekolah Dasar Negeri Batu Kembar in the even semester, the year of 2015/ 2016 with the number of students of 21 consisting of 12 boys and 9 girls. The research used cycling procedure containing four steps of planning, doing, observing, and reflecting. The action research is done in two cycles. Each cycle is conducted in one meeting. After the implementation of Numbered Head Together, the learning output of students social science improves from the first to the second cycle. The result shows that the average score in the first cycle is 65, and the learning completion is 50.00%, while in the second cycle, the average score is 74 and the learning completion is 85.00%. The learning process score in the first cycle is 75.75%, and it improves in the second cycle to be 90.00%. The result of students behavior observation shows improvement of students discipline, cooperation, bravery which in the first cycle is 80.50% and it improves in the second cycle to be 85.50%. Therefore it can be inferred that the implementation of the cooperative learning model of Numbered Head Together is able to improve the learning output of the fifth grade students social science in an elementary school. Keywords: Learning Output, Social Science, Numbered Head Together.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif Numbered Head Together. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Batu Kembar kelas V semester genap tahun pelajaran 2015/ 2016 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 21 siswa, terdiri dari 12 siswa laki-laki dan 9 siswi perempuan. Prosedur penelitian dilaksanakan bersiklus yang terdiri dari empat tahap, yaitu: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Pelaksanaan tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus dilaksanakan satu kali pertemuan, setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran Numbered Head Together hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial siswa meningkat dari siklus pertama ke siklus kedua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata hasil belajar pada siklus I memperoleh nilai 65, dengan ketuntasan hasil belajar sebesar 50,00%, sedangkan siklus II memperoleh nilai rata-rata 74 dengan ketuntasan belajar 85,00%. Begitu pula dengan penilaian pelaksanaan pembelajaran pada siklus I sebesar 75,75%, meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 90,00%. Sedangkan hasil observasi perilaku siswa menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada sikap berupa disiplin, kerja sama dan keberanian yang diperoleh pada siklus I dengan persentase sebesar 80,50% dan meningkat pada siklus II sebesar 85,50%. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif Numbered Head Together dapat Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Pada Mata Pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial di kelas V Sekolah Dasar.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial, Numbered Head Together.

Abstract

COMPARISON OF GROUP AND INDIVIDUAL ASSIGNMENTS ON LEARNING OUTCOMES IN GENETIC COURSES OF BIOLOGY EDUCATION COLLEGE STUDENTSTo create a dynamic form in academic field, assignments are given by the lecturer within the process of the study. These assignments are given both to individuals and groups with different purposes. This research is aim to see the impacts of giving group assignments and individual assignments to student’s learning outcomes. The research method used was pre-experimental design research. The research subjects were students of biology education in semester 6 of 2014/2015 academic year. The results of the analysis show the average value of the group assignment is lower at 79.33 compared to the average value of the individual assignment of 80.22. Inferential analysis showed a significant group assignment value of 0.00 ˂ 0.05. Thus, we can conclude that the results of group assignments are significant compared to the results of individual assignments..

Abstract

ABSTRAKBelajar merupakan suatu upaya yang dilakukan seseorang untuk memperoleh suatu perubahan tingkah laku sebagai hasil pengalamannya sendiri dalam interaksi dengan lingkungannya. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu 1).mengkaji penguasaan konsep mahamahasiswa  dengan model pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis praktikum melalui lesson study pada konsep respirasi. 2) Mengkaji aktivitas mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri berbasis praktikum melalui lesson study pada konsep respirasi. Metode kuasi eksperimen dengan disain one shot case study. Sampel penelitian yaitu mahasiswa kelas A dan kelas B semester I Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi FKIP, Universitas Pakuan Bogor sebanyak 45 orang. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mata kuliah praktikum Biologi Umum dengan materi Respirasi. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur penguasaan konsep menggunakan soal essai ditambah dengan lembar observasi ketika proses pebelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran inkuiri melalui praktikum berbasis lesson study sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan penguasaan konsep sistem respirasi dan aktivitas mahasiswa pada saat proses pembelajaran. Hal ini dilihat dari banyaknya nilai mahasiswa yang melebihi batas ketuntasan sebanyak 80%. Saran agar dosen dapat menerapkan kegiatan laboratorium berbasis inkuiri pada materi lain.Kata kunci: Inkuiri, Praktikum, Penguasaan Konsep ABSTRACTLearning is an efforts done by someone to achieve a change in behavior as a result of his/her own interaction with the environment. This research is aimed at 1). Studying students’ mastery concept using inquiry learning model through practicum based lesson study on respiration concept. 2). Studying students’ activity through the use of inquiry learning model through practicum based lesson study on respiration concept. Quasi experiment method with one shot case study is used in this research. The sample is 45 students form class A and B of the first semester of Biology Study Program Faculty of Teachers Training and Education Sciences Pakuan University Bogor. The research was conducted on general biology practicum, discussing respiration system material. Instrument used in measuring mastery concept are essay test item and observational sheet to check the finding during teaching learning process. The result shows that inquiry learning through practicum with lesson study based is very effective in improving mastery concept of respiration system and students activity during teaching learning process. It can be seen from students’ score which mostly higher than mastery limit around 80%. It is suggested that lecturer can apply laboratories activity inquiry based on other materials.  Keyword: Inquiry, Practicum, Concept Mastery

Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsep diri serta pola asuh orang tua terhadap kemandirian belajar mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada mahasiswa PGSD kelas IVE dan IVF dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 56 orang dengan teknik sampling jenuh. Metode yang digunakan yaitu survei dengan pendekatan kausalitas. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji statistik korelasi, regresi linier sederhana dan regresi linier berganda. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05.Hasil penelitian menghasilkan tiga kesimpulan yaitu Pertama, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara konsep diri terhadap kemandirian belajar mahasiswa ditunjukkan dengan nilai koefisien korelasi ry1 = 0,596 dan persamaan regresi . Kedua, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara pola asuh orang tua terhadap kemandirian belajar mahasiswa ditunjukkan dengan koefisien korelasi ry2= 0,482 dan persamaan regresi . Ketiga, terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan secara bersama-sama antara konsep diri dan pola asuh orang tua terhadap kemandirian belajar mahasiswa ditunjukkan dengan nilai koefisien korelasi ry.12= 0,510 dan persamaan regresi . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemandirian belajar mahasiswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui konsep diri dan pola asuh orang tua.Kata Kunci: Konsep Diri, Pola Asuh Orang Tua, Kemandirian Belajar Mahasiswa, PGSDABSTRACTThis research to study the influence self-concept and parenting pattern toward student learning independence. The research applied to PGSD students at IVE and IVF classes with 56 total samples, take with the saturation sampling technique. The conducted survey was using the causality approach. The technique data analysis used is the correlation statistical test, simple regression and double liniear regression. The hypothesis testing managed at the 0,05 significant rate. The research dispatched three conclusions: First, there is a possitive and significant influence between self-concept toward student learning independence with the correlation coefficient rxy = 59,6 and the regression equation . Second, there is a positive and significant influence between parenting pattern toward student learning independence with the correlation coefficient of rxy = 48,2 and the regression equation of . Third, there is a positive and significant influence together between self-concept and parenting pattern toward student learning independence with the correlation coefficient of rxy = 51,0 and the regression equation of . The result of this research is the student learning independence can be improved by the self-concept and the parenting pattern.Keywords: Self-Concept, Parenting Pattern, Student Learning Independence, PGSD
