Abstract

A study entitled “The Influence of Characteristics, Attitude and Skill of Pempek Entrepreneurs in Palembang toward Successful Business Achievement” is an entrepreneurship study related to the influencing factors of  succesful business achievement of pempek entrepreneurs in Palembang.  This purpose of this study is to find out whether or not the entrepreneurs’ characteristics, attitude and skill factors affect the succesful business achievement. Sample was selected by using purposive sampling technique. The hypothesis was tested by using multiple regression analysis. The t-test of SPSS calculation implied that the significant value  of characteristics was 0.709, attitude was 0.213 and entrepreneurship skill was 0.287 (less than 0.05). Therefore, the results of the study implied that there was no correlation between characteristics, attitude and entrepreneurship skill of pempek entrepreneurs in Palembang toward succesful business achievement.

Abstract

Skripsi ini membahas tentang kinerja BUMN sebelum dan setelah privatisasi.Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Artinyapenentuan dan pengambilan sampel berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria tertentu. Adapunkriteria pengambilan sampel adalah sebagai berikut: (1) BUMN yang melakukanprivatisasi dan terdaftar di BEI, (2) tersedia laporan keuangan lengkap tiga tahunsebelum dan tiga tahun sesudah privatisasi, (3) tidak ada aktivitas lain selainprivatisasi selama tiga tahun sebelum dan tiga tahun sesudah privatisasi. Ukurankinerja yang digunakan pada penelitian kali ini adalah ROE (Return On Asset),PBV (Price Book Value), dan PER (Price Earning Ratio). Tujuan yang ingindicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan kinerja BUMNsebelum dan sesudah privatisasi. Analisis diawali dengan statistik deskriptif,dilanjutkan pengujian normalitas data untuk mengetahui apakah variabel-variabelyang akan diuji berdistribusi normal atau tidak. Langkah selanjutnya masingmasingvariabel diuji dengan menggunakan uji beda paired sample t-test. Hasilpenelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada Bank BNI hipotesis terdukung hanyapada ukuran kinerja ROE dan PBV, pada PT Jasa Marga hipotesis terdukung padaukuran kinerja ROE, dan pada PT Indocement hipotesis terdukung pada ukurankinerja PER.

Abstract

The objective of this study are : 1) the application  of service delivery    system that can be applied by Bank Goveerment in Palembang, 2) the influence of physical support on customers, 3) the influence of contact personnel on loyalty of the customers of Bank Goverment in Palembang, 4) the influence of service delivery system on customer loyalty at Bank Goverment in Palembang. This study is done by survey method so as to describe the response from respondents. The samples are taken by using simple random sampling with 100 respondents. The instruments are observation, quesionares and interview, the data analysis is done by using descriptive and matrix analysis. The results of this research shows that all independent variables (physical support and contact personnel) significantly and positively influence the dependent variables (loyalty of the customers).

Abstract

Banking is a business entity which is aimed to earn profit. Thus the management should be able to control the financial operation activities. One of the way is by executing the analysis of bankruptcy-prediction which is used to provide information about its influence toward the stock price. The purpose of this study is to analyze the banking and corporate bankruptcy-prediction and to find out whether there is influence between bank insolvency on the shares price in Indonesian Stock Exchange banks. The data used in this study were the financial statements and stock prices of 10 banks listed in the Indonesian stock exchange. Altman Z-Score analysis and statistical regression analysis were used to analyze the data. Results indicated that Altman Z-Score analysis had a value of less than 1,20 which means that all banks are classified potentially bankrupt. Meanwhile, the statistical analysis implied that the influence of this analysis condition toward stock price was decreasing each year. It might be influential to the bankcrupt banking companies in Indonesian Stock Exchange.

Abstract

Literasi keuangan merupakan kebutuhan dasar bagi setiap orang agar terhindar dari masalah keuangan. Kesulitan keuangan bukan hanya fungsi dari pendapatan semata, kesulitan keuangan juga dapat muncul jika terjadi kesalahan dalam pengelolaan keuangan seperti kesalahan dalam penggunaan kartu kredit, dan tidak adanya perencanaan keuangan. Keterbatasan finansial dapat menyebabkan stress, dan rendahnya kepercayaan diri, bahkan untuk sebagian kehidupan dalam rumah tangga kondisi tersebut dapat berujung pada perceraian. Memiliki literasi keuangan, merupakan hal vital untuk mendapatkan kehidupan yang sejahtera, dan berkualitas. Lebih lanjut dijelaskan bahwa literasi keuangan bersama-sama dengan kemampuan memposisikan keuangan keluarga merupakan kunci untuk dapat menjadi konsumen yang cerdas, mengelola pembelian kredit dan mendanai pendidikan tinggi anak-anak, saving dan investing. Penelitian yang berkaitan dengan tingkat literasi keuangan di kalangan Pegawai Kantor Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Sumatera Selatan. Hal ini menjadi tujuan utama penelitian yang diarahkan untuk mengetahui mengenai tingkat literasi keuangan Pegawai Kantor Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Sumatera Selatan. Tujuan penelitian adalah sebagai berikut : (a) mendapatkan gambaran tingkat literasi keuangan dikalangan Pegawai Kantor Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Sumatera Selatan, (b) mendapatkan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat literasi keuangan dikalangan Pegawai Kantor Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Sumatera Selatan, dan (c) mengetahui bagaimana literasi keuangan mempengaruhi opini dan keputusan keuangan Pegawai Kantor Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian terdiri atas penelitian deskriptif dan verifikatif. Terdapat dua jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian, yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Data primer terdiri dari observasi, wawancara, pengumpulan data di lapangan melalui kuesioner sebagai alat pengumpulan atau yang pokok. Data sekunder berupa publikasi yang terkait dengan topik penelitian dan desk study. Maka metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah descriptive survey dan explanatory survey.           Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa literasi keuangan, pendapatan dan pendidikan memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap pengambilan keputusan investasi. Sedangkan umur memiliki pengaruh negative terhadap pengambilan keputusan investasi. Nilai adjusted R2 didapatkan sebesar 56,6%, sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa variabel pengambilan keputusan investasi dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel independen yang terdiri dari : literasi keuangan, faktor-faktor demografi (umur, pendapatan, pendidikan), sedangkan sebesar 43,4% dijelaska oleh variabel yang lain.

Abstract

  This research is based on the modern retail developments in Indonesia, the rapid development of modern retail business in Indonesia causes a competition among the modern retail. One of the modern retail which develops rapidly is  minimarket. There is an interesting consumer behavior when consumers shopping in modern retail especially Minimarket is the Impulse buying (unplanned purchase) when shopping. This research is aimed to examine what factors which cause consumers do Impulse buying. This research using store environment as independent variable such as the Ambient, Design, Social and Impulse buying Dependent variable. This research use 100 respondents who have finished shopping in Indomaret Palembang by using purposive sampling. While the analysis using SPSS 22. then the data analyzed was by using Validity Test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis, and hypothesis testing use T Test and F Test. The result which obtained from the test show that only social dimension significantly affect Impulse buying, Social dimension has positive effect on impulse buying with a significance level of 0.005. Coefficient  amount  of  determination R² is 0.356, which means the three dimension of independent variables (Ambient, Design and Social ) in this research only can  explaine 35.6% of variations that occurs in the dependent variable (impulse buying). while other variations that is 100% - 35.6% = 64.4% will be explained by another variables which are not described in this research.

Abstract

Lecturers are the successful point of a college growth especially for private colleges in South Sumatera area. The research result generates that although all the executives of private colleges relize a lecturer is a very fundamental human resource in a private college, but ironically that there are still many lecturers of a private college in South Sumatera have a very minimum prosperity beside many conflict problems in his/her family with the result that influences on his/her personal motivation rate in doing its profession. This research has been successful to contribute a new novelty in the theory named anaestethized-holistic reinforcement that can also relates it with its independent variables that can be also as new novelties in the theory called Family-Interest Conflict theory and Antagonistic-Environmental Prosperity theory. The result of full-empirical model shows that the direct effect of anaestethized-holistic reinforcement on a lecturer’s motivation is around 0,446 that means it has a positive and significant influence and hopely that situation can be a contemplation for all executive of private colleges to generate and increase a fair and objective regulation/rule for all lecturers.

Abstract

The study aims to investigate the phenomenon of the use of social media technologies by SMEs. These samples included 81 SMEs in Yogyakarta who use social media technology. Data collected by approaching directly to the respondent by survey method. The number of respondent is 81 SMEs. Data were analyzed with Descriptive Methods include frequency characteristics of respondents and the adoption of social media technologies and Crosstab Test. Based on the results of the study, the largest social frequencies used social media, namely Facebook, with the largest percentage of types of products, namely clothing. While most used instant messaging that Blackberry Messanger and WhatsApp. For the activity of the largest social media use is for the already varied activities that leave comments on the site pages/online social media of other people, add friends, create a fan page, create a new photo tag, write the status of the product, and upload photos of products. The frequency content renewal done in less than one week. For greatest impact, namely the use of social media to increase the number of customers, increasing the number of sales, and cost savings promotion.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyze the factors that influence taxcompliance in submitting VAT return. This study used research survey design andcollected data through the distribution of questionnaire. The respondents of thisstudy consisted of 154 tax payer determined based on incidental samplingtechnique. The independent variables were attitude, subjective norm, perceivedbehavioral control and moral obligation while the dependent variable was taxcompliance. This study also used the intention to obey as an intervening variable.Hypothesis testing was based on multiple linear regression. The result indicatedthat; (1) The attitude had positive influence on the intention to comply, (2)Subjective norms did not have effect on the intention to comply, (3) perceivedbehavioral control did not have effect on the intention to comply, (4) Moralobligation had positive influence on the intention to obey, (5) Intention to complydid not have influence on tax compliance.

Abstract

The aim of this reseach is to analyze the impact of Service Quality towards Students Satisfaction within Musi Charitas Chatolic University (MCCU).  Service quality has five determinants, which are reliability, responsiveness, assurance, emphaty and tangibles. These determinants should be fit with MCCU basic values  CHAMPION.   Research Sample 214 students from  three faculties of MCCU using  convenience sampling technique. Data Analyze Technique using Simple Regression and frequent tabulation. The results indicated that Students have not been satisfied yet with the service quality required and still need continuously improvement to improve sustainability competitiveness.
