Abstract

Efforts to preserve traditional culture in the implementation of musical art in class IV and class V students in Taman Muda (Elementary School) Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa Yogyakarta were examined using qualitative methods. The data found in this regard are 1) teaching how to beat gamelan and singing Javanese songs according to the correct technique, teaching ethics in music, maintaining gamelan in a complete and orderly condition, and participating in cultural performances or musical competitions; 2) supporting factors for the implementation of musical art in Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa namely adequate and adequate gamelan, competent musical teachers, high student enthusiasm and enthusiasm, musical learning activities carried out according to the schedule in each class, musical learning hours are sufficient, as well as facilities and infrastructure that support musical learning activities; 3) the inhibiting factors of the implementation of musical art in Taman Muda Ibu Pawiyatan Tamansiswa namely there are students with special needs who need extra guidance and a long process to be able to beat the gamelan according to the correct technique, there are students who are not concentrated when the teacher submits musical material because of conversation talking with his friend, and the teacher not from the musical field replaced the musical teacher who was unable to teach.

Abstract

This study aimed at determining the relationship between organizational culture with teachers? performance. The research was conducted among teachers of St. Anthony Foundation, Jakarta.  A research method used in this study was a correlational approach. This research involved 40 teachers of St. Anthony Education Foundation as research population.   Analytical requirement testing was done by using normality and linearity test. The result showed that the study had a normal distribution; the variables relationship was linear. The results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between organizational culture and teachers? performance. It can be seen from the value of the correlation coefficient (r) of 0,564. It means that the correlations are positive and strong. If the culture of the organization is better, the performance of the teachers will be better too. Thus, the better the organizational culture was in proportion to the performance of the teachers at St. Anthony Education Foundation. Based on the results the researcher suggests that school principals need to improve teachers' performance by creating and improving conducive situation of organizational culture through reflection. This study proved the existence of a positive and significant relationship between organizational culture with teachers? performance at St. Anthony Foundation Jakarta.

Abstract

The objective of research was to improve students' learning outcome on thematic learning through Snowball Throwing model in the fourth class of elementary school number 18 Palembang. The design of the research was action research. The subject of the research was 32 students of V including 14 male students and 18 female students. Technique of data analysis used test, observation and documentation. Based on the research result learning outcome, it was proved that the average score in cycle I increased first 66.87 with learning mastery 59.37% (enough), the average score in cycle I increased second 70.93 with learning mastery 68.75% (enough). The second cycle of the first meeting resulted in an increase in learning outcomes which was 84.37% with an average score of 86.25. The second cycle of the second meeting of learning outcomes increased to 87.50% with an average value of 89.37. The results of student learning activities in the first cycle of the first meeting were 66.67% (quite active), the second cycle of the second meeting was 75.26% (active), the second cycle of the first meeting was 80.98% (active), the second cycle of the second meeting increased to 86, 97% (very active). So, it can be concluded that using the Snowball Throwing model can improve student learning outcomes and activities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji apakah penerapan gaya mengajar resiprokal memberi pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar servis pada permainan tenis meja. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan ini adalah one goup pre test dan post test design. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 15 orang peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah penilaian prestasi servis tenis meja. Teknik analisa data dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan pengujian persyaratan analisis terlebih dahulu yaitu uji normalitas data dan homogenitas data dan didapatkan data yang berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Analisis data dilanjutkan menggunakan  statistik uji t. Dari hasil pengujian, diperolehthitung senilai10,27 sedangkan t tabel yang diperoleh dari dk n-1 = 15 ? 1 = 14 dengan taraf kepercayaan  adalah 1,761. Jadithitung lebih besar dari ttabel, yaitu thitung = 10,27   ttabel = 1,761. Berdasarkan hasil analisis maka hipotesa penelitian diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menerapkan gaya mengajar resiprokal memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar servis pada permainan tenis meja peserta didik kelas V Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Learning Indonesian in elementary schools is carried out with attention to language skills. The four language skills are listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. In practice, listening skills become skills that are rarely trained and / or implemented in an inappropriate way. This is caused by various things. One of them is listening learning carried out with material used for listening learning derived from textbooks published by certain publishers. Thus, the material may not accommodate local wisdom. This research is part of the development research carried out in stages. This research is the second stage of the five planned stages. At this stage, the research is carried out until the revision stage of the expert validation results. This article only discusses the results of expert validation in the material development section. The results showed that the learning material developed did not fully accommodate local wisdom. The validator gives advice relating to the content of material that can be developed in order to raise local wisdom and remain in accordance with the basic competencies used.

Abstract

Physical fitness plays a very important role in human activities. With physical fitness a person can do all activities well. The problem in this research is how the level of physical fitness of the Upper Class students at the 11 Regang Agung Public Elementary School and the State Elementary School 40 Pilot Base Station in the Banyuasin District 3 Banyuasin District. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of physical fitness of top students at 11 Regang Agung Elementary School and Public Elementary School 40 Pilot Base Station in Banyuasin District 3, Banyuasin District. The results showed that the description of the physical fitness level of upper class students at SD Negeri 11 Regang Agung and Public Elementary Schools 40 Pilot Base Pangkalan Balai District Banyuasin 3 Banyuasin District averaged in the medium category. The details of the test results are: a) very good category of 3 students with a percentage of 3.16%. b) good categories as many as 21 students with a percentage of 22.11%. c) moderate category as many as 60 students with a percentage of 63.16%. d) less categories as many as 9 students with a percentage of 9.47%. e) very few categories as many as 2 students with a percentage of 2.11%.

Abstract

The use of thematic learning models uses a scientific approach in line with the enactment of the 2013 curriculum. Where several subjects are combined into one theme known as thematic learning. In the 2013 curriculum there is a thematic learning precisely on theme 3 on Caring for Living Things in Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Cultural Arts and Crafts (SBdP). The purpose of this study was to determine how the influence of the use of leaf media on the thematic learning outcomes of fourth grade students. This type of research is quantitative research. Categorized as quantitative research because it is classified as experimental research that measures student learning outcomes. Subjects in this study were grade 4 students at SD Negeri 42 with 2 classes, namely IV A and IV B, each of which had 25 students. Data collection techniques in the form of tests, interviews, and documentation. Homogeneity test data analysis techniques, normality test, and independent sample t-test using SPSS 17. The results of this study in the form of the influence of leaf media on the thematic learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students can be seen from the value of sig (2-tailed) = 0,000 <0.05 which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted and the average value of thematic learning outcomes of students who use leaf media is higher than the average value of students who do not use leaf media.

Abstract

Pada pembelajaran bahasa, empat keterampilan bahasa (menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis) pada dasarnya dilatihkan dan dikembangkan. Namun, dengan berbagai kendala, keterampilan menyimak masih kurang diperhatikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pemahaman guru sekolah dasar di bawah naungan Yayasan Xaverius Palembang berkaitan dengan pelaksanaan pembelajaran menyimak. Penelitian ini dilakukan di enam sekolah di bawah naungan Yayasan Xaverius Palembang dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian yang melibatkan 11 responden guru kelas I ini menunjukkan hasil guru yang diteliti belum melaksanakan pembelajaran menyimak secara tepat. Ketidaktepatan tersebut berhubungan dengan bahan ajar menyimak yang digunakan, teknik pembelajaran menyimak, dan evaluasi menyimak.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is explore the effect of ?Petualangan Bodasta Modul? through anti-corruption behavior in primary student at Kedunggaleng Probolinggo. This research is kuantitative research with experimental design. Participants in this research are 42 students of grade 4 in Kedunggaleng City, Probolinggo. Participants is separated into 2 groups (21 students in experimental group and 21 students in control group. Instrument of this research is quesionner about responsibility behavior as one of symptom of anti corruption behavior. This instrument has validated by expert in primary school education. Difference test shows that sig. (2-tailed) in experiment group 0,000< 0,05, Hnuul is rejected and Hi is received, so ?Petualangan Bodasta Modul? can increase anti corruption behavior.

Abstract

The problem in this research is whether there is influence of cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) to student learning outcomes in grade IV SD Negeri 5 Inderalaya. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the model of learning Numbered Heads Together (NHT) on the results of learning mathematics students in grade IV SD Negeri 5 Inderalaya. The population of this research is the students of class VI SD 5 Inderalaya which amounted to 71 people. The sample of students in grade IVB is 37 people. Research method of quasi-experimental design of one group pretest posttest design research. Technique Data collection used is test. The data obtained were analyzed using the t-test. Based on result of t-test analysis for final test at significant level ? = 0,05 obtained  thitung > ttabel  (thitung =17.40 >  ttabel = 2,02), so it can be concluded there is influence of cooperative learning model type Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Studying Student Math In Class IV SD Negeri 5 Inderalaya.
