Abstract

Strategic Planning Information System (PSSI) is a process to identify a computer-based portfolio that will help the organization in carrying out its business plans and realizing its business goals, on the contrary PSSI can also generate demand for applications with high leverage and ability to create excellence among its competitors. Analysis of the situation and the ongoing business functions, such as an analysis of five competitive forces and SWOT analysis.Information Systems Strategic Planning the sale of services on the CV. XYZ have targets to support management functions within the company, particularly in the areas of customer service and management services. With this strategic planning, information needs for good leadership for materials planning, organization, assessment, control and decision-making and information needs of customers are expected to be met. Abstract

Face recognition techniques and classification methods have been proposed, but not many techniques that compare performance between methods. This research wants to analyze the performance of recognition. The method which are studied and compared are support vector machine and learning vector quantization. The result showed that the performance of the method, on the varied training number, LVQ method is better than SVM. In large number of classes, LVQ method is better than SVW.Keywords: classification, face recognition, LVQ, SVM

Abstract

Optimization problem is the demanding problem for optimum solutions. The optimum (best) solution is a solution with minimum values, or maximum among a set of possible alternative solutions. In electrical distribution network, problem of demanding achievement of optimum condition of system operational performance is essential. One of the factors necessary to consider in the designing of the primary electrical distribution network is cost. Cost is closely related to length of cable used. It highlights the importance of calculating the minimum length of cable required in a network. The cable should be not only with as minimal as possible in length, but also regulated for better arrangement.Actually, in regulating the cable installation, longer path is more frequently selected. One of the ways of achieving optimization condition is to use algorithm to determine a minimum spanning tree of the primary electrical distribution network system. In this study, the algorithm used is Prims algorithman algorithm in graph theory to seek a minimum spanning tree for a weighted connected graph. In other word, it is a set of parts from branches of a tree consisting of all vertices, where the entire weight of all the branches of tree is the lowest.The study was conducted by designing a graph model of primary electrical distribution network in appropriate with the data obtained. Based on the graph, each was weighted for distance or length of network cable by using the ArcView GIS 3.3 and Delphi 7. The data were then calculated and simulated by using computer to gain a minimum spanning tree of the primary electrical distribution network using the Prims algorithm. Finally, time complexity in implementation of Prims algorithm in the primary electrical distribution network was studied in relation to efficiency of the algorithm.Keywords: Minimum Spanning Tree, Prims Algorithm, Time Complexity

Abstract

Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan teknik wawancara, survey (observasi) dan perancangan sistem. Metode ini digunakan memperoleh data civitas akademika dan data akademik yang berhubungan dengan mahasiswa, dimana data tersebut digunakan sebagai acuan untuk membuat perancangan sistem informasi akademik. Perancangan sistem yang digunakan adalah Hierarchy Input Proces Output(HIPO), Diagram Kontek, Data Flow Diagram(DFD), Desain Input dan Output, Desain Database, Relasi Database dan Desain Software dan Hardware.Tabel yang digunakan dalam database ini adalah, dosen, mhs, mtkuliah, mttawar, jadwalujian, hnilai, dnilai, hkrs, dan dkrs. Hasil dari sistem informasi akademik berbasis WAP yang bisa di akses mahasiswa adalah : jadwal ujian, usulan KRS, dan nilai semester dengan hasil keluaran berupa informasi jadwal ujian, nilai semester, dan usulan KRS.Keyword : WAP

Abstract

PT. Sami Surya Indah has 7,100 employees who provide incentive issues, in addition to the current handling of obstacles in reporting and determination of employees who deserve incentives. The current system in the Company is still using manual process where the database used is still in paper form. For that will be designed and made a decision support system to determine the incentives for employees with the method Promethee in PT. Sami Surya Indah. The purpose of this study is to design and build systems that can assist in determining the feasibility of providing incentives to prospective employees. This study also aims to apply the Promethee method for determining the feasibility of providing incentives to employees. Methods of data collection include field study and literature study. Field studies include interviews and observations. While the literature study conducted by examining the relevant literature with the problem. Designing system design using CD (Context Diagram), DFD (Data Flow Diagram) and ERD (Entity Relation Diagram), Implementation program with PHP and database MySql. The results of the functionality test shows the application is running in accordance with its function and based on the validity test of the application has been declared valid. Abstract

Branch of computer science in the field of artificial intelligence is often used to handle problems in a computer game, one of which is to find the two closest points that are often found in the maze game. In the world of computing, the algorithm is so much that can be used to find two pairs of points contained in the labyrinth area. One of the search algorithms that can be used is the A * pathfinding algorithm.This algorithm is one type of search algorithms that have information that is used to perform the search process. Algorithms * A is also known as an algorithm that efficiently and will provide optimal results.Here is used the Manhattan distance heuristic function type. From this test we will be able to see how the algorithm * to find the shortest path from the problem of maze maps created using macromedia flash and actionscript as a programming language.The success of the solution obtained using algorithm A * in solving the maze could not be separated from the use of the heuristic function in it. Keywords: Algorithm A *, heuristics, Labyrinth.

Abstract

In a computer network system when using more than one router that is interconnected will experience a problem in the process of sending data packets. The problem is that if the main line is disconnected, then the data packet is unable to send data to a computer network system. The purpose of this study is to make a computer network system design with fail over technique on the type of static routing that is not directly connected. In this case the researcher used the Microtub Router Board RB-951-2nd. Failover technique is a way to transfer routing paths when the main line is broken, so it can be diverted to the backup routing path, this is so that the computer network connection path continues smoothly. The researcher used a recursive network connection case or the router is not connected directly to the main point center (main gateway), so the researcher used the optimization of the Target Scope and Distance features in the Microtic Router Board. The results of this study was that the backup routing path was able to channel data packets within the network if the main line did not respond or could not be connected.

Abstract

Untuk membuat sistem RAID (Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks) baik mirror maupun striping kapasitas hard disk drive yang digunakan harus sama. Pada sistem Mirror akan terjadi pencerminan data antar disk yang di mirrorkan , sehingga jika disk primary_nya mengalami kerusakan data tidak akan hilang. Pada sistem Striping setiap data akan disimpan secara langsung ke semua disk .   Kata kunci : Mirror, Striped, Disk, Raid, Volume.

Abstract

Scholarships interpreted as a form of an award given to individuals in order to continue their education to a higher level. the provision of such financial assistance granted to individuals, college students or students who are used for the continuation of education reached by the scholarship program is expected to ease the burden of students in studying in particular the issue of costs. Tsukamoto fuzzy logic reasoning is one method that can be applied to construct a system as problem solving how to determine which eligible students in obtaining scholarships on the basis of interviews conducted by the authors to the organizing committee are as follows scholarship amount of income parents, the value of the interview conditions Economic family residence criteria, and the value - average semester. Internet protokol yang kita gunakan sekarang untuk komunikasi di internet dikenal dengan IPv4. IPv4 ini telah berumur lebih dari 20 tahun. Suksesor dari IPv4 adalah IPv6. IPv6 menawarkan fitur dan fungsionalitas yang lebih dari IPv4 seperti ruang pengalamatan yang jauh lebih besar, fitur keamanan IPSec, penanganan lalu lintas multimedia di internet, dan lain-lain.
