Abstract

Indonesia curriculum has delayed English subject introduction until at least the student completes their primary level (aged 12). Starting English class with minimum vocabularies, the student is confronted to learn from authentic texts full of words they know not the meaning, nor the way to pronounce it right. The aim of the article is to discuss the motivational problem faced by the Indonesian Junior High School students as the beginners of English learners, particularly regarding their basic knowledge of English words that is important to help them feeling confident and positive during the first years of learning. The article proposes that some pre-vocabulary lessons should be given to students before or along the first year in Junior High School level.

Abstract

Electrical measuring instruments and basic electronics laboratories are two things that can not be separated. Mastery using electric measuring devices will affect the practical activities and values obtained from the lab. This research is motivated by the still low mastery of electric appliance using FKIP Unimal students. In fact, almost all of the basic electronics lab activities use electrical measuring instruments to determine the behavior of electronics circuits. This study aims to determine how much influence the ability of the use of electrical measuring instruments to psychomotor ability of students on basic electronics laboratory. Population and sample are all students of FKIP Unimal in year 2015 is totaling 60 people. Sampling technique using non-probability sampling technique. The data collection tool used in this research is rubric or observation sheet which has been tested its validity and reliability. The research analysis used correlation analysis, simple regression and t test. Based on the results of statistical tests obtained significance value paired sample t-test of 0.000 with a value of t arithmetic 10,346. Because significance less than 0.005 so it can be said that there is a positive effect and significant ability of electrical measuring instruments to the psychomotor ability of students on basic electronics practice.

Abstract

Learning model is a systematic method or presentation technique used by educators in organizing the learning process both individually and in groups to achieve learning goals. The purpose of this study is to compare the percentage of the students learning outcomes through Enjoyfull Learning with Explicit Instruction. The research subjects were 50 high school students. This research uses quasi-experimental methods with a quantitative approach. Data collection was collected through giving tests and analyzed by SPSS. The results showed that the students' ability to understand learning after the application of the Enjoyfull Learning model was 81.64 in the pre-test and 82.58 in the posttest, for the students learning outcomes, the pre-test was 85.18 and 86.44 in the post-test. While the results of the students' ability to understand learning by applying Explicit Intruction learning model was 79.54 in the pre-test and 80.22 in the post-test, for student learning outcomes, the pre-test wais 81.44 and 82.44 in the post-test . Thus it can be assumed that the Enjoyfull Learning model is preferred by students so that it is more appropriate to be applied to improve the students learning outcomes, but still pay attention to certain adjustments in order to obtain maximum learning outcomes.

Abstract

Nutrient status is a body condition as a consequences of food intake and nutrient substances on certainvariable form that can be measured with certain methods. Low or abnormal nutrient status will affect tophysical fitness. Since nutrient status is one of factors that affect physical fitness level. Regular and notoverdoing sport activity will cause fitness above average and by performing sport activity exercise willcause higher physical fitness level. So that the effect to physical fitness have bigger percentage. The aim of this research is to know correlations of nutrient status and sport activity with physical fitnesslevel of eight grade student of SMP Negeri 1 Banda Aceh. This is a non-experiment research with quantitative approach and correlational design. Population in this research is all eight grade student of SMP Negeri 1Banda Aceh that amounted of 270 students. While sample collection technique that applied is cluster sampling with sample amount as big as 47 students. Instrument in this research is IMT/U for nutrient status, sportactivity questioner, TKJI test to measure physical fitness level. Data analysis that applied is logistic regression. Based on data analysis result it can be unknown that nutrient status have significant score0,024 <ρvalue (sig) 0,05, with determination coefficient as big as 42,5%, so Ho1 is rejected and Ha1 isaccepted. Thus, there is correlations between nutrient status with physical fitness as big as 42,5%. Whilesport activity have signification score 0,817 >ρvalue (sig) 0,05 so Ho2 is accepted and Ha2 rejected..Thus, it can be conclude that there is not significant correlation between nutrient status dan sport activitywith physical fitness level on eight grade student of SMP Negeri 1 Banda Aceh.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the teacher's lack of understanding of the Teaching and Learning Process (PBM) of Model Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), especially at SMP Negeri 5 Percut Sei Tuan. In research, the researcher tried to proposing the action proposals so that teachers use the CTL Model in teaching and learning activities. The problem in this PTS is how the effectiveness of increasing Teacher Pedagogic Competence towards Supervising Academic Supervision at SMP Negeri 5 Percut Sei Tuan, Deli Serdang Regency. The specific objectives of this PTS activity are to: a) Increase the understanding of the teachers in developing PBM; b) Improve the skills in developing PBM in teaching and learning activities. While the general purpose of this school action research activity is to determine the understanding and skills of teachers towards lesson plans in teaching and learning activities at. The conclusions obtained from this PTS activity are 1) The teaching and learning process (PBM) activity of CTL carried out by the Principal of SMP Negeri 5 Percut Sei  Tuan. It has been carried out well and has contributed to the increase in the understanding and skills of teachers about the Teaching and Learning Process (PBM) of Medol Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) 2) The results of the analysis show that the increase in teacher understanding and skills regarding the Teaching and Learning Process (PBM) of Medol Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) in teaching and learning This has implications for improving the quality of education in SMP Negeri 5 Percut Sei Tuan.

Abstract

Both the bad character or character of a person is an assessment given by the community to the actions carried out by humans. The parameters of good or bad human deeds are measured based on religious norms, or customs norms of the community itself. Islam determines, that to measure the merits of a human deed is based on religious sharia which is sourced from the revelation of Allah SWT, namely al- Qur'an and hadith of the Prophet. Therefore, anyone who longs for salvation and luck in his life, there is no other way for him except by purifying oneself from the ungodliness and ugliness of his deeds. This study aims to determine aspects of the formation of commendable and despicable morals in the view of Imam Ibn Qayyim Al-Jauziyyah. This research method is (library research) using this analysis method (content analysis) whose main source is the work of Imam Ibn Qayyim Al-Jauziyyah, as for other sources of articles, journals, and other books related to the research topic. Then the results of the study found that the moral aspects according to Ibn Qayyim are divided into several things, he divides the virtues of good morals, among others: Al-Shabru (Patience), Al-Iffah (self-respect), Al-Syaja'ah (courage), and Al -'Adl (fair). And dividing low ethics into four parts. First, al-jahl (ignorance), Second, ad-dhalm (despotism), Third, al-syahwah (lust), Fourth, al-ghadb (anger). And Ibn Qayyim also pointed out the aspects of laudable and despicable, praiseworthy divided into; Having Knowledge and Faith, a clean heart, prioritizing truth and goodness, and making Allah the only One. The aspect of establishing moral disgrace, that is, many people who do not benefit, immersed in dreams, a lot of eating and sleeping, and depending on other than God, then of all aspects will certainly grow and form a good character (mahmudhah) and will also form morals. despicable (mazmumah) in human beings themselves.

Abstract

This research is titled "Leukon Language Defense in Simeulue District." The formulation of the problem in this research is (1) how is the Leukon language defense level in the Leukon community of Alafan District of Simeulue Regency? The level of defense is focused on several domains, namely family, education, neighborhood, religion, and customs; (2) how does Leukon language speech effort keep Leukon language? This research uses two approaches, namely qualitative and quantitative. The research is descriptive. The population in this study was Leukon speech community in two villages, Langi and Lafakha. The sample of research is 60 people divided into three groups, namely adolescents, adults, and parents of each group amounted to 20 people. The data were collected using interview technique and spreading questionnaires or questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that the level of Leukon language defense in five domains tend to be positive, that is 60%. The lowest defense occurs in the educational domain of the percentage, which is 5%. In the meantime, the efforts of the Leukon community to maintain their local languages are classified as "Nanga-Nanga," and "Inafi," Overall of all groups (adolescents, adults and parents) the percentage of Leukon language defense is 61.50% 35 samples. That is, Leukon language level of defense is high.

Abstract

The use of multimedia is very supportive of the continuity of the learning process in the classroom. The objective of this study is to create multimedia of learning science-based integrated Adobe Flash CS4 Professional. This multimedia was developed by adopting a model of ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This multimedia product development takes the topic of solid matter in nature. The process begins with the stage of development of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Before the product was used, the product development previously validated in aspects of media, material and learning, each of which involves two validators. Moreover, a limited test was conducted on two teachers and 16 students. The results of the analysis by the validator stated that adobe flash-based multimedia professional CS4 was categorized valid. While the practicality test results by teachers and students obtained that adobe flash professional learning CS4 multimedia is said to be practical because it has met the practicality standard with the percentage by the teacher of 77.22 & students 89.1%.Therefore, multimedia learning by using Adobe Flash CS4 Professional is feasible to use

Abstract

Heading the ball is essentially playing the ball with the head. basic techniques of heading the ball, namely: 1) running to pick up the ball with the eye directed at the ball; 2) neck muscles are strengthened / tightened, heading the ball using the touch of the forehead; 3) the body is moved or pulled back, curving at the waist area then by moving the entire body consisting of the explosive power of the abdominal muscles, the pelvic and leg thrusts (knees bent and then straightened) the body is swung or stomped forward so that the forehead is right on the ball, has a posture Good, effective movement techniques will result in good heading and direction in the game of football. This study aims to obtain a series of information on speed in heading the ball, in carrying out the heading of the PPLP Aceh soccer athlete. The method used in this research is descriptive analysis, namely analyzing and presenting data systematically so that it can be easier to understand and conclude. The research subjects were 11 PPLP Aceh soccer athletes. The instruments used in this research are; To obtain speed data in heading the ball with three basic techniques through measuring video recordings, obtained through the help of movie maker software, 675.2 phontom software and the results of analysis of research data through the help of software obtained results
