Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of the low value of the students in the subject of steel structures Building Engineering Education Program in the Department of Civil Engineering. Due to lack of effective and efficient learning students during class. This study aims to reveal the relationship between learning the learning outcomes of students in the course of steel structures in the Department of Civil Engineering Faculty of Engineering, Padang State University. This type of research is the study korelational. The population in this study is the 2014 generation students who have taken courses steel structures enrolled in semester July-December, 2015 as many as 64  samples in this study 56 people were taken by proportional random sampling. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data were obtained from the questionnaire to the students on how to learn, while secondary data is student results. Data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, correlation analysis and analysis of significance. The analysis showed that there is a significant relationship and very significant between learning the learning outcomes of students in the course of steel structures in the Department of Civil Engineering FT-UNP. Significant level of 5% with 95% confidence level. It can be seen from the r arithmatic > r table. Based on the acquisition of these test results can be concluded that there is a significant relationship and very significant between learning the learning outcomes of students in the course of steel structures in the Department of Civil Engineering FT-UNP. Keywords: How To Learn, Learning Outcomes, Steel Structure

Abstract

Abstrak- Minat mahasiswa memilih Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan FT-UNP merupakan pemusatan keputusan berdasarkan stimulus, kebutuhan pendidikan, dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi minat mahasiswa untuk memilih Prodi Pendidikan Teknik Bangunan sebagai lanjutan studi pada mahasiswa angkatan 2018.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif, sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 50 mahasiswa dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling, yaitu pengambilan sampel dengan jumlah yang sama dengan populasi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dengan skala likert yang terdiri 4 buah jawaban dan 66 item pernyataan. Teknik analisa data yang digunakan metode analisis faktor dengan ekstraksi variabel hingga menjadi satu atau beberapa faktor dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat tujuh faktor pembentuk minat mahasiswa terhadap faktor-faktor memilih Prodi PTB  FT-UNP, yaitu: faktor diri pribadi, faktor lingkungan keluarga, faktor lingkungan sosial, faktor physical evidence, faktor fisik, faktor level gaya hidup, dan faktor persepsi. Dari ketujuh faktor yang mempengaruhi mahasiswa yang paling besar yaitu faktor diri pribadi yang dibentuk dari faktor: umur dan tahapan siklus, motivasi, minat, cita-cita, intelegensi, perhatian, bakat, motif, kematangan, dan kesiapan. Kata kunci: faktor, minat, Prodi PTB.

Abstract

Abstract—. This research to reveal the relationship of students' perceptions about the learning process with the learning outcomes of Technical Drawing Course of students of Class X TGB SMKN 2 Payakumbuh. The type of this research is a correlational descriptive research. The samples were 49 students taken by using total sampling technique. Data analysis techniques used are: 1) Descriptive analysis, 2) Analysis requirements test, consisting of normality test and linearity test, and 3) Test of Hypothesis. The result of this study showed that there is a significant relationship between students' perceptions of the learning process with the learning outcomes of Technical Drawing Courses of students of Class X TGB SMKN 2 Payakumbuh, with 95% confidence level. This can be seen from the correlation coefficient value of 0.552, means that the relationship lies in moderate category.Keywords: Student Perception, Learning Process, Learning Result

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran berbasis animasi yang valid, sehingga layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam proses pembelajaran. Pada penelitian ini digunakan tahap pengembangan media pembelajaran bertajuk pada model yang dikemukakan oleh Thiagarajan yaitu 4D. Dimana 4D merupakan singkatan dari Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perancangan), Development (Pengembangan) and Dissemination (Penyebaran). Subjek dalam penelitian ini yaitu validator ahli dan dosen mata kuliah Gambar Teknik, sedangkan objek penelitiannya adalah media pembelajaran berbasis animasi untuk mata kuliah Gambar Teknik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, pengembangan media berbasis animasi pada mata kuliah Gambar Teknik dengan penilaian dari validator 1 pada keseluruhan aspek sebesar 89,60% dengan kategori Sangat Baik; dan penilian dari validator 2 pada keseluruhan aspek sebesar 86,40% dengan kategori Sangat Baik. Selain itu penilaian berdasarkan uji coba skala kecil pada dosen mata kuliah Gambar Teknik diperoleh hasil sebesar 86% yang dikategorikan Sangat Baik.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berawal dari pelaksanaan pembelajaran siswa Teknik Gambar Bangunan mengalami permasalahan dalam menggunakan aplikasi yang dimana beberapa siswa memiliki kemampuan yang kurang dalam menggunakan software sketchup serta lambat dalam mengerjakan tugas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana belajar siswa dapat terpenuhi dengan baik apabila kesulitan belajar siswa menggunakan software sketchup ditinjau dari faktor intern dan factor ekstern. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada siswa SMK Negeri 1 Sumatera Barat jurusan Teknik Gambar Bangunan dengan jumlah responden 31 siswa. Data penelitian berupa data primer yang didapatkan langsung dari responden dengan instrument berupa kuisioner yang disusun berdasarkan skalalikert dengan empat s kala. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada sub variable faktor intern, indicator factor biologis berada pada kategori cukup dan indicator factor psikologis juga berada pada kategori cukup yang berarti bahwa belajar siswa tersebut belum terpenuhi dengan baik. Untuk sub variable factor ekstern, indikatorfaktorkeluargadanfaktorsekolahberadapadakategoricukup yang berarti belajar siswa tersebut belum terpenuhi dengan baik, sedangkan indicator factor masyarakat berada pada kategori kurang yang berarti bahwa bahwa belajar siswa tersebut tidak terpenuhi dengan baik.

Abstract

The problem in this research is the bad way of student’s way of learning, it proves by the unprepared condition of student’s in the building material lesson, and almost 40% of the student’s score is below the completeness standard criteria (CSC).  This  research  is  aimed  to  express  how  big  the  contributions  on  the student’s way of learning toward the study result on building materials training education class X, construction engineering mayor at Padang Vocational High School 1. The research hypothesisis that there is a contributionon The Student’s Way of  Learning  Towards  The  Study Result  on  Building  Materials  Training Education Class X, Construction Engineering Mayor At Padang Vocational High School 1. The population in this research is all of the students in construction engineering mayor that studied about construction materials training education that consist of 66 students. Sample taking technique is a total sampling with the sample amount 66 students.Data type that had been using is a primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by distributing the questionnaire about studying method to the students, while secondary data is a learning result in a form of scores of Construction Materials Lesson by the students. Analysis technique data that had been  used  are:  (1)  Descriptive  Analysis,  (2)  Analysis  condition  testing,  that consist of normality testing and linearity testing to prove that data distributions based  on  samples  that  distributed  normally  and  linearly,  and  (3)  hypotheses testing.Analysis result shows that the way of learning contributes 60.9% toward the study result of Class X Construction Engineering Mayor, Padang Vocational High School 1. This thing can be seen from score Sig (2-tailed) 0.000<Alpha (0.05). Based on that testing, it means that there is a positive connection between student’s way of learning Towards Study Result on  Building Materials Training Education Class X, Construction Engineering Mayor At Padang Vocational High School 1. Keywords: Contributions, Way of Learning, Learning Result

Abstract

Abstract— This study aims to find out and reveal how much the contribution of Emotional Quotient to Learning Outcomes of Stone Practices and Concrete of Students at SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. This type of research is descriptive correlational. This research was conducted in the Department of Stone Construction and Concrete Engineering of SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. The population in this study were students of class XI and XII TKBB. Data collection techniques in this study used the questionnaire method. While the Sampling Technique used is Total Sampling. In this study the number of samples was 39 people. The Data analysis techniques were: 1) Descriptive analysis, 2) Normality and Linearity Test, and 3) Hypothesis Test. The results of this study indicate that there is a contribution of Emotional Intelligence to the Learning Outcomes of Stone and Concrete Students at Bukittinggi State Vocational High School 1 with a correlation coefficient of 0.512 and the percentage contribution of Emotional Quotient to learning outcomes is 26.22%..  Keywords: Emotional Quotient, Learning Outcomes, Stone Practices and Concrete.

Abstract

Abstract—This research is motivated from the high percentage of unemployed vocational high school graduates and low interest of students to entrepreneurship in accordance with the field of expertise it has. This study aims to reveal the Contribution of Learning Outcomes of Entrepreneurship Training Course to Students Entrepreneurship Interest in Class XI SMK Negeri 2 Sawahlunto.The type of this research is correlation research with population of all students of class XI Department of Building Image Engineering as many as 183 people. The sample of 126 students is taken using proportional random sampling technique. The type of data used is primary and secondary data. Primary data obtained through questionnaires distributed to students, while secondary data is the result of learning in the form of semester grades of students of class XI SMK Negeri 2 Sawahlunto. Data analysis techniques used are: 1) Descriptive analysis, 2) Test requirements analysis, consisting of normality test and linearity test to prove that the distribution of data derived from samples of normal and linear distributed, and 3) Hypothesis Testing.From the results of research that has been done, it can be concluded with the Contribution of Learning Outcomes of Entrepreneurship Training Course on Students Entrepreneurship Interest in Class XI SMK Negeri 2 Sawahlunto of 28.62%, the remaining 71.38% is owned by other factors not examine.Keywords:Interest, Entrepreneurship, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Kegiatan  pertambangan  berupa eksploitasi dan ekstraksi mineral akan menghasilkan hasil samping berupa tailing. Salah satu potensi pencemar yang ada di tailing selain logam berat adalah sianida. Salah satu bentuk penanganan tailing oleh industri pertambangan, khususnya tambang bawah  tanah adalah  dengan  backfilling yaitu kegiatan  pengisian  kembali rongga yang  terbentuk  akibat  kegiatan  pertambangan  dengan  material  tailing.  Kegiatan backfilling memiliki potensi mencemari air tanah  yaitu ketika material backfilling  terkena  air  kemudian  melarutkan  pencemar  yang  ada  di  tailing  seperti  sianida  sehingga  sangat  dimungkinkan  terbawa  ke  lapisan  air tanah.  Sebaran  pencemar  di  lapisan  air  tanah sulit  untuk  dikendalikan  karena  tidak  mudah  metentukan  arah dan batas-batas alirannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana sianida dapat menyebar di dalam air tanah pada lokasi pertambangan. Metode yang dilakukan adalah dengan pemodelan solusi analitis Domenico berdasarkan persamaan adveksi, dispersi dan retardasi. Simulasi pemodelan dilakukan dengan menggunakan software matlabs. Simulasi ini juga akan memprediksi persebaran sianida pada 50 tahun mendatang. Hasil pengujian sampel tailing didapatkan konsentrasi sianida sebesar 0,430 mg/L. Nilai konsentrasi ini dijadikan sebagai konsentrasi awal (C0) dan diasumsikan konstan. Dengan memasukkan nilai parameter-parameter yang dibutuhkan pada model didapatkan bahwa kontaminan sianida sudah tersebar di air tanah lokasi pertambangan.

Abstract

Abstract—This reseach aims to produce a valid video tutorial-based learning media on the subject of KPJR with material of new road planning at FT-UNP Civil Engineering department. The research employs descriptive method. The data analysis is aimed to 34 samples of the building (D3) study program who are taking KPJR subject by giving media in the form of video tutorial and learning evaluation question (10 items of objective and 1 essay question) related to the material. Before the media was distributed, the first thing to do was validationof content by 2 validator that was a KPJR lecturees and afterthat validation of media by a lecturer . The result are 0,933 in terms of media and 0,844 in terms of material. The result of the evaluation obtained with the average value of 71,82 (categorized well)that means the video can already be used and published as one of the media that can help students to understand the material. Keywords:Video Tutorial, Flexible Pavement
