Abstract

Abstract. PT Sago Prima Pratama is a company engaged in the field of gold mining with an open mining system. Calculation and analysis of slope stability is very important to do, especially in open pit mining using the open pit method. Rock masses that were initially stable and undisturbed were dug up (disturbed) so that they could lose stability and cause landslides. If landslides occur, there will be hazards that disrupt the mining process so that production will be disrupted. From the calculation using Surpac software it is known that the pit depth is 150 meters from the ground surface. Movement often occurs on the slope, therefore slopes must be monitored so that movement on the slope can be known and can be known hazards on vulnerable slopes. Monitoring is usually done by looking at prism data. From these data we can see how much the slope is moving. With this monitoring can anticipate the potential for landslides early, so that treatment can be done earlier. Monitoring carried out at inpit has a range that ranges av. displacement at the study site during the August 14-29 2018 is 0.023mm to 0.177mm and the range av. instant velocity ranges from 0.30 - 1.33 mm / hour The fastest movement is at the BLS and the lowest is at the MSC.Keywords: Monitoring, slope, stable, displacement, velocity

Abstract

Abstract. Based on production data of stripping overburden from January to October 2019 in PT.Surya Global Makmur, the production of stripping overburden didn’t reach the target. This iscaused by standby times and breakdown times which causes the operating time and productivityto be low. To determine the potential improvement of a production process and the effectivenessof use an equipment, it is necessary to do an analysis using overall eqipment effectiveness (OEE)method. From the OEE value that hasn’t reached the ideal limit, six big losses analysis is carriedout to determine which losses that give the biggest contribution in the decreasing of equipmentproductivity. Then fishbone method is used to find the cause and effect of the decreasing ofequipment productivity and evaluation by referring to the result of identification of six big losses.After analysis and improvement methods are carried out, the production of Komatsu PC 400-18exceeded the target that has been planned. But the value of OEE is still < 85% haven’t achievedthe world-class OEE >85%, it can be concluded that the state of equipment is not good. Abstract

Abstract. Groundwater is a very useful resource for all living things on earth. Living things, especially humans, do various ways to meet the needs of water. Based on its existence in this world, water is something that is needed by humans. The conditions of the place of residence vary, not all regions have sufficient water resources, so there are certain areas that experience difficulties with water resources. Population growth in the city of Padang has resulted in the expansion of housing development which has led to an increase in water demand, which can lead to a decrease in groundwater levels due to excessive withdrawal. This study aims to model and calculate the volume of the aquifer layer at several points in the study location. Based on data from the results of the drill log test at several points in the district Koto Tangah and Pauh distric area which will later be made in 3D modeling using SGeMS software and calculate the volume of the aquifer layer using the Krigging Indicator Method 3D modeling was obrained using the kriging indicator method in the Koto Tangah District area with the result of and aquifer volume of 2.531250m3 and 1.282.500m3 fo the Pauah District area.Keywords: Groundwater, aquifer layer, drill log, SGeMS, Indicator Kriging.

Abstract

Abstract. Based on the overburden stripping production data at Pit 3 East, Electrification Mining Work Unit Shovel and Truck of PT. Bukit Asam Tbk. June 2019 for 4 mining fleet, are around 994.792,50 Bcm. From the actual production above, it is known that the overburden stripping production target for 4 mining fleet is 1.300.000 Bcm, so it can be concluded that the overburden stripping production target in June 2019 is not reached. Based on the data from mining equipment working hours, a percentage of consecutive utilization of available working time of the EU (Effective Utilization) for 4 mining fleet is 26.28%; 58.03%; 57.21% and 60.38%. From these problems, the percentage of utilization of available working time EU (Effective Utilization) cannot be utilized optimally. From the problems above, it is necessary to analyze the optimal losstime to fulfill the overburden stripping production target. As for, the analysis that will be used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis which is using the least squared method in estimating the coefficient of multiple linear regression. Abstract

Abstract. The company has not yet carried out a geotechnical plan regarding the stability of the slopes in the mining area. The slope geometry planning will be used by the Bishop Simplified and Janbu Simplified methods. Data clay : Unit Wight (γ) = 19.67 kN / m3, Cohesion (c ') = 30.1 kN / m2 and inner shear angle (ϕ') = 38.06 °. The initial slope height is 11 meters and the overall slope angle is 59°. Recommended slope geometry: 1. The Bishop Simplified method FK saturated conditions of 0.996 unsafe slopes, reduction of slope angles from 59 ° to 46 ° height of 11 meters, FK 1,339 safe slopes. 2. Janbu Simplified Method saturated FK 0.955 unsafe slope condition, slope angle from 59 ° to 44 ° with 11 meters height, then FK 1.34 slope in safe condition.

Abstract

Abstract. Drilling is an important activity in the mining industry where by making a hole perpendicular or tilted from the ground to a predetermined depth. Drilling carried out by PT. ANTAM Tbk. UBPN SULTRA is a production drilling carried out to obtain ore samples or samples that are available to determine the amount of ore content and thickness at that location, this drilling is known as inpit drilling. Inpit drilling is carried out in areas that have been developed. Effectiveness and efficiency of inpit drilling activities during operations are needed to obtain optimal results in drilling activities. The condition of the equipment as well as the working time needed for the drilling activity flow is a very big influence on the productivity of inpit drilling. From processing data in drill holes 9N2/TB.19005, 9N2/TB.19001, 9N2/ TB.19002 and 9N2/TB.19004 the drilling effectiveness was 98.31%, 96.76, 97.66% and 98.44%. Drilling productivity was 8.93 m/hr, 7.06 m / hr, 6.01 m / hr and 5.76 m / hr, respectively. As well as core recovery inpit drilling for each drill hole is 96.92%, 93.08%, 100% and 88.46%.Keywords: Drilling Productivity, Geomin drilling, Inpit Drilling, Ore, Revenue Reserved

Abstract

Abstract. Combustion of coal has high sulphur content causes environmental pollution, damage(corrosive) and shortens the life of industrial plant equipment. Combustion of has high sulphurcontent produces Sulfur dioxide (SO2) which can disrupt humanlife, such as causing tightness inthe respiratory tract, causing acid rain and corrosion on plant equipment. So that coal can beused as fuel then desulfurization process is carried out first. Desulfurization of coal is needed notonly to minimize environmental pollution caused by emissions of Sulphur dioxide duringcombustion, but also to improve the quality of coal. Desulfurization of coal is a process ofreducing sulphur content from coal. The desulfurization process in this research uses a chemicalmethod with Hydrochloric acid (HCl) solvent. Coal that will be desulfurized is coal from flemmingseam produced by PT. Nusa Alam Lestari Site Sinamar, Dharmasraya Regency, West SumateraProvince. Flemming seam has a thickness of up to 1,2 meters. This layer has calorific valuesbetween 5100 – 5500 kcal/kg. This coal is lignite with an average sulphur content of 1,5 – 2,2%.This coal is treated by modifying the concentration of Hydrochoric acid (HCl), which is 0,4 M, 0,6M, 0,8 M, 1 M, and 1,2 M. After leaching the coal, the next process is to test sulphur content withsulfur analyzer. Of all variations in the concentration of Hydrochloric acid (HCl), the optimumconcentration is obtained, HCl 0,8 M which can reduce sulphur levels to 0,59%.Keywords: desulfurization, coal, sulphur, Hydrochloric acid, combustion.

Abstract

Abstarct. PT. Darma Henwa Tbk is a mining contractor assigned by PT. Kaltim Prima Coal to conduct mining production and overburden production at Bengalon Coal Project, East Sepaso Village, Sub-district Bengalon, District East Kutai, Province East Kalimantan. Blasting is an important activity to make sure the productivity reach company target. PT. DH use Sanvik D50KS and Sanvik D245S to support drilling activity of blast holes and explosives used are Emulsion Synergy 335 product by PT. AEL Indonesia. Base on distribustion analysis of rock fragmentation result from actual blasting geometry data, the average rock fragmentation result from 5 times blasting that passed at 100 cm in size with split desktop software at 88.43%. Base on observation, average digging time recorded by excavator from 5 times blasting is 12,85 s/bucket. Beside that, recovery blasting archived by actual blasting is 85,4% less than 90% target. Whereas, the actual fees received is $ 2,807,629.10, less 21% from planned fees which is $ 3,541,889.10. Therefore solution needed to solve this problem by evaluate the blasting geometry using RL Ash method. Geometry will be choose by compare the fragmentation prediction using Kuz-Ram equation. Abstract

Abstract. PT. Alfara Delta Persada is a coal mining company which is currently planning to minethe N21 block. Previously, this block had been mined but stopped due to the influx of the Kutairiver to the excavated N21 pit, as a result the former excavation became a lake. In line with thefall in coal prices at that time in 2013 mining in the N21 block was totally stopped. In thisresearch the method used is descriptive quantitative method. Where this research will producecost and benefit calculations based on data from excavated volumes and stockpiles, which arethen analyzed using the Benefit Cost Ratio method to determine their economic viability.Basedon the results of the study it can be seen that the costs or costs that must be incurred to conductmining in the N21 block are Rp.52,557,921,531.79, and generate benefits of Rp.170,118,527,384.02 from the results of the analysis using the Benefit Cost Ratio methodresulting in a BCR value of 3.24, meaning that the value is BCR> 1 which results in a feasible oreconomic decision criteria for mining.Keywords : Benefit Cost Ratio, Economic Studies, Coal, Productivity, Cash Flow

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Batu Nago Mandiri is a company that will plan andesite miningin Batang Kapas districts, PesisirSelatan regency, province of West Sumatera. PT. Batu Nago Mandiri has a 52ha IUP area and has 23,750,000 tonsofandesite reserves and a mine life of 20 years. Parameter of organizing this research activity is seen in terms of theeconomy, estimation of tool needs and outcome sale of andesite stone. Therefore needed investment analysis and theeconomic feasibility of the mine to see the prospect of the andesite reserve whether it has economic value in that location.Then, the parameters used to determine economic viability in andesite production of PT. Batu Nago Mandiri is a NetPresent Value (NPV), Internal Rate Return (IRR), Payback Period (PBP).Based on the results of the economic analysisassessment, the Net Present Value valueis Rp. 1,632,077,494,690, 16% Internal Rate Return and 8-year Payback Period,the project is feasible to run. Estimated equipment requirements for Ore Getting requires 1 unit of Komatsu PC 400-LC8Excavator and 4 units of Hino 30T Dump Truck, while for Overburden Removal requires 1 unit of Komatsu PC300-8 MOExcavator and 3 units of Hino 30T Dump Truck.
