Abstract

During Jokowi’s tenure, a lot of programs and policies that focusing on housing sector were built by him. Package of Economic Policy XIII is one of many policy’s package that Jokowi develop for managed housing of people who have low income (MBR) with target that chosen is built one million houses. The lack of availability of housing for low-income people, is one of the reasons for the policy package. In this research, author used qualitative method to analyst the phenomenon. The results of this study are the high rate of housing backlogs, the difficulty of obtaining housing at affordable prices, and discussing KPR schemes in Indonesia. The existence of these government programs does not significantly eliminate the phenomenon of housing a backlog. In addition, the existence of the program must be accompanied by high supervision from the government and accompanied by laws that bind violators.

Abstract

XYZ company produce the various shape of motor spare parts product. The company has three identical parallel spot welding machines that use a random method of production scheduling, based on machine capacity without any sequence of jobs, and only use daily production targets given to operators. Based on the data, the actual scheduling of the machines has a very large completion time difference between each machine, or the machine loading is uneven. As a result, the makespan becomes longer with a value of 440000 seconds (26 days). This research aims to minimize the existing makespan by giving proposed scheduling, using the suggested algorithm method, which has a small number of iterations and has an optimal result. The method begins with the longest processing time sequence rule which is used as the upper bound for the first iteration, then continued to calculate the lower bound and machine workload. The calculation stops at the 15th iteration because the completion time value exceeds the lower and upper bound so that the optimal scheduling taken is scheduled in the 14th iteration with a makespan value of 914412 seconds (16 days). The proposed scheduling can minimize the makespan from the actual schedule by 38%.

Abstract

Kliktrip is one of the online travel agent application brands with day trip and activity booking services in Indonesia which was established in 2018. In the last few years, Kliktrip has experienced several symptoms, including a decrease in revenue in the second year and the low level of brand differentiation of the Kliktrip online travel agent application based on customer perception compared to other online travel agent application brands. Based on the symptoms of these problems, it can be concluded that the brand of the Kliktrip online travel agent application is weak in customer perceptions of the online travel agent application because customers tend not to know the advantages offered by the Kliktrip online travel agent application brand. To be successful in facing competition with other business competitors, it is necessary to carry out sustainable development by building competitive differentiation by designing and improving positioning strategies. Based on the results of the perceptual mapping, there were 4 groups of competitive areas, the online travel agent Kliktrip application brand was in the same area as the Explorer.id online travel agent application brand which made it the main competitor of the Kliktrip online travel agent application brand. The objectives of this research are to (1) Design a strategy for improving the brand positioning of the online travel agent application and (2) Optimize the resources owned by the Kliktrip online travel agent application brand to implement a strategy for improving the brand positioning of the Kliktrip online travel agent application.

Abstract

Changes in learning methods from face-to-face to online learning due to pandemic covid-19 have an impact on student readiness in learning and the mental workload felt by students, that can determine the achievement of the learning process. There are differences in the characteristics of learning demands in engineering and non-engineering majors. Therefore, this study aims to evaluate the level of readiness and mental workload of students during the implementing full online learning based on the characteristics of the education department. Data collected by distributing online questionnaires to 180 students (90 students majoring in engineering and 90 students in non-engineering). Self-directed learning (SDL), technical readiness (TC), and comfort with non-face to face communication (CFT) used to measure e-learning readiness, meanwhile NASA TLX used to measure mental workload. Results showed differences between engineering and non-engineering students, especially in the Self-Directed Learning (p < 0,05). Non-engineering students perceived that they are more prepared to manage their learning process independently during online learning. Related to mental workload students perceive higher demands from online learning activities, the engineering group had higher level of time-related demands. According to correlation testing there was a negative and significant correlation between the self-directed learning dimension scores of E-Learning Readiness and the NASA TLX scores (p < 0,05). These results indicated the role of student’s e-learning readiness, especially self-directed learning readiness can reduce perceptions related to the mental workload experienced by engineering students in online learning. This condition was not applied on non-engineering students. Future study needed to explore the characteristics of study programs that relate to both variables and if the condition applied on other learning conditions such as hybrid learning.

Abstract

One of the early pandemic COVID-19 effects on the educational sector is that learning activities need to be conducted fully online (e-learning). This circumstance can trigger negative emotions that contribute to students’ academic performance. This study aimed to find empirical data regarding the relationship of negative emotions and students academic performance in this particular situation. The study was a cross-sectional quantitative method. Questionnaire of negative emotion (DASS-21) Indonesian version was deployed using google form to students of Industrial Engineering and Information Systems class of 2020 using convenience sampling. 292 questionnaires were returned and used. Findings: All three negative emotions (depression, anxiety, and stress) were experienced by students at different levels. Negative emotions had different correlations to academic performance. There were no significant differences between anxiety and depression to students’ academic performance (anxiety: F (3) = 2.202, ρ = 0.088, depression: F (2) = 1.397, ρ = 0.249). Two-way ANOVA showed that students who experienced mild stress performed better than those with normal stress category (F (1) = 3.933, ρ = 0.048). Female students significantly had better academic performance compared to male students (ρ (0.001) < α= 0.05)) and that students experienced mild stress, performed better than those with normal stress category. Managing stress at a moderate level is beneficial and can be done by media or counseling or other catharsis methods. Further study using larger samples from non engineering majors and randomized sampling is needed for generalization as well as identifying factors that contribute to e-learning performance in a special situation.

Abstract

Activity based costing process is a process to accurately manage the cost allocation process for a product. With the development of technology, the activity-based costing process has been integrated with the ERP system so that it can relate to all business processes as a whole and can reduce expenses to manage the flow of information systems within the company. It is necessary to determine a fast business process for the allocation of these costs so that a product can be produced. A standard hierarchy is needed which serves as the center of the business process for determining the activity-based costing process. This process is still done manually so that it slows down the business determination process in the activity-based costing process. This research will implement the search function in the ABC system by creating a reporting system that can search business processes in the standard hierarchy in SAP S/4HANA. This research will use SEEM embed with SDLC method where this method pays attention from the perspective of the user and the company to produce an efficient ABC process with the company's objectives.
