Abstract

The implementation of education from the Early Childhood to Higher Education levels, has undergone online learning for the past 2 years since the Covid 19 Pandemic. With the increasing percentage of complete vaccine recipients, it opens up hope for schools, students, and parents to return to face-to-face schooling. The purpose of this study was to see the readiness of elementary school students to participate in Face-to-Face Learning (PTM) during the Covid 19 pandemic which was seen from two aspects, students' understanding of health protocols and student motivation. The survey was conducted on 30 elementary school students in 2022 where face-to-face learning began to be re-enforced, then the analysis was carried out qualitatively by describing the results of the survey and interviews. From the survey results it appears that elementary school students are ready to take part in Limited Face-to-Face Learning in terms of their understanding of health protocols and learning motivation. This research is expected to be a reference in preparing Face-to-Face Learning during the current Pandemic.

Abstract

In an increasing digital era, problem-solving skills have become a crucial skill that every student needs in their learning activities. However, there are still various difficulties in developing these skills due to several influential factors. Self-readiness, learning creativity, and learning motivation that affect problem-solving abilities are the focus of this study. This study is based on a quantitative approach and conducted on students in grade X at SMA Negeri 13 Ambon in 2022. Samples were obtained using purposive sampling and tests and questionnaires were applied to obtain data, which was then processed using the SMARTPLS 4 application. The results of the study showed that the outer model testing, loading factor values, and Cronbach's Alpha were above 0.7, indicating relatively high validity and reliability. The inner model (R-square 0.546) indicated that 54.6% of the dependent variable could be explained by the predictor variables of self-readiness, motivation, and learning creativity. Hypothesis testing showed that there was a significant positive influence between the predictor variables of self-readiness and motivation, with T-statistic > 1.96 and a p-value of 0.05 (5%). However, one variable, which is learning creativity, did not have a significant effect.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of thematic learning in the fourth grade of SD Islam Al-Khairiyah, North Jakarta. Since SD Islam Al-Khairiyah has implemented thematic learning, there has never been an evaluation of the implementation of thematic learning, so it is necessary to conduct research to obtain information and objective data related to components that affect the success of the implementation of thematic learning. This research is evaluative research with CIPP model. The subjects of this study were the Principal of Al-Khairiyah Islamic Elementary School and fourth grade Teachers. This evaluation research was carried out in 2022 with the sampling method was purposive sampling. Data collection was obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The steps of data analysis include the data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. the data validity checking was using triangulation technique. The results of the research on aspects of thematic learning planning, aspects of teacher academic qualifications, aspects of educational infrastructure, aspects of thematic learning implementation, and aspects of learning assessment results indicated that the implementation of thematic learning applied at SDI Al-Khairiyah has been running well and  following the standard of the education process.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the process of internalizing the values of religious moderation in the Aswaja course and its implications for student tolerance. This research uses qualitative methods through a phenomonological approach. The research is based on subjective or phenomenological experiences experienced by individuals, it can reveal the value of religious moderation in student tolerance. The results of this study indicated the process of internalizing religious moderation values so that student tolerance can be formed through learning planning that leads to moderate character, implementation of constructive learning, field assignments, and evaluation of processes and results. After the internalization process in the Aswaja course, students understand that there are differences in the opinions of scholars who are furu'iyyah and ushuliyah. From this understanding then arises an attitude of tolerance among fellow followers of Islam.

Abstract

The implementation of authentic assessment is carried out by the teacher without using proper assessment instruments. This study aims to describe the implementation of the 2013 curriculum authentic assessment in the thematic learning of class 1 Islamic elementary school. This research used qualitative methods with descriptive field research. The informants in the study were a teacher, students and student representative teacher. Data collection instruments were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques were carried out using the Miles and Huberman models, then the validity of the data was tested using source triangulation. The results of the study illustrated that the implementation of the 2013 curriculum authentic assessment grade 1 has not been optimally implemented by teacher, because they often do not prepare instruments related to affective and psychomotor assessments. In the assessment of the affective part, the teacher only assesses students from their daily lives. In psychomotor assessment the teacher only assesses the results of student skills without making an assessment rubic.

Abstract

The story of Baridin and Ratminah is so phenomenal in Cirebon society. the plays on the radio or stage performances to local films often present the story. Even though this is a legend by the people of Cirebon, the two figures seem to have lived, this is evidenced by the existence of a tomb in the name of Baridin in Jagapura Village, Cirebon Regency. Baridin's attempt, who had a desire to marry Ratminah, was rejected, accompanied by harsh treatment and insults at his mother. This incident made Baridin hurt and thought of making Ratminah fall in love with him. Baridin studied with his best friend in Jagapura Village and was given a charm spell to make Ratminah fall in love with him, but that was just an attempt at revenge. They both never got married until the end of his life. This study reviews the charm spells in an Islamic perspective. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, where the resulting data is in the form of actual conditions that occur in the field. The purpose of this research is to provide knowledge that every time you want to achieve something, use reasonable methods so that no one feels hurt. The results of this study are to make the values of Islamic Education always a guide in all aspects of life.

Abstract

The basic concept of science in elementary school is one of the subjects in the UT PGSD study program. Universitas Terbuka is a state university in Indonesia that implements Open and Distance Higher Education (PTTJJ) both online and face-to-face. The Covid-19 outbreak that hit our country has an impact on the implementation of online learning as a whole. The webinar tutorial (tuweb) is an alternative to online learning. However, tuweb is still new for students who have been studying face-to-face so that it has an impact on their interest in learning. Therefore, it is important to conduct research in this regard. The purpose of this study was to describe students' interest in learning basic science concepts in elementary schools through webinar tutorials using Microsoft Teams. Microsoft Teams was chosen as a learning media that can support the implementation of tuweb. In this study, the data instruments used were observation sheets and interviews with descriptive data analysis methods. The observation sheet contains indicators of interest in learning namely; a) feelings of pleasure, b) involvement, c) interest and d) concern. The results of the study showed that overall the average percentage of student learning interest on the tuweb for basic science concepts was an indicator of feeling happy 76.75%, an indicator of involvement 78.23%, an indicator of interest 80%, an indicator of attention 79.85%. This indicates that the use of Tuweb provides space for students to interact so that students' interest in learning becomes better.

Abstract

This research was intended for researchers to analyze strategic components in 21st century learning, namely Realitic Mathematics Education (RME) and digital-based mathematics learning which is manifested in the Learning Implementation Plan at SMAN 03 Pontianak and SMA Kristen Immanuel Pontianak. The method used in this research was qualitative. The analysis was carried out using an assessment rubric which the analysis criteria were constructed by referring to the RME indicator and digital-based learning indicators. In general, the implementation of RME in the lesson plans for both SMAN 03 Pontianak and Christian Immanuel Pontianak High School were in the low category, in this case the researchers identified that contextual content that has benefits for students in real life was classified as not well optimized in every aspect of RME-based learning analysis . RPP SMAN 03 Pontianak, it is necessary to optimize the achievement of indicators fulfillment in digital-based learning because the research output on this variable shows the medium category, while the RPP SMAN Kristen Immanuel analysis shows that it only needs special attention on indicators of developing knowledge, skills and attitudes of teachers through the use of technology is in the medium category, while the other indicators are high.

Abstract

There are several factors that affect teacher performance, such as discipline, education and training, work atmosphere, compensation, principal managerial competence, responsibility, and organizational culture. Two factor were utilized in this research, that are the principal managerial competence and organizational culture. This research aims to explain The correlation between principals managerial competence and organizational culture with teacher performance in MAN 01 Indragiri Hilir Riau. Quantitative approach with correlation method was conducted to determine whether there is correlation between. The population were all teachers in MAN 01 Indragiri Hilir Riau 2019  there numbering 70 teachers. And the sample at once. Data analysis used Partial Least Square (PLS) through the Smart PLS program version 3.0 data measurement including Outer Model and Inner Model, Boostrapping, and Blindfolding. The results showed that: (1) there was a significant positive correlation between the principal managerial competence with teacher performance with a P-Value <0,10 which was 0,039 with a coefficient value of 0,238 and (2) there is a significant positive correlation between organizational culture and teacher performance with a P-Value <0,10 which is equal to 0,000 with a coefficient value of 0,646.

Abstract

Education has a role in building character and community disaster response through learning in schools. Learning that is integrated with disaster mitigation is one of the efforts to develop the soul (character) in order to have disaster preparedness. This is important to do in order to reduce the impact of the disaster. Research on the integration of disaster mitigation into learning has been carried out but no one has explained explicitly about the integrated disaster mitigation plan into learning. Therefore this study aims to present information related to the technical integration of disaster mitigation in the lessons that have been carried out so that it can enrich the body of knowledge and science and improve disaster preparedness from 7 articles in the EBSCO and Scopus databases with limitations 2017-2022. The literature review method uses the Population, Intervention, Comparison and Outcome (PICO) technique. The procedure for searching and selecting articles in this study used Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews & Meta-analyses (PRISMA). The results of the research based on the 7 articles that have been reviewed show that the integration of disaster preparedness learning towards disaster preparedness with various levels of education.
