Abstract

The development of ICT offers an improvement in the quality of education. The use of ICT greatly contributes to the improvement in the quality of education. ICT provides various facilities in obtaining information. The easiness of obtaining information can improve the quality of the learning process. However, behind the benefits derived from the use of ICT, there is concern about plagiarism. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited in the world of education. The sanctions imposed for the action is even set in the Law. The Formulation of Problems: How is the development of ICT in education?, How is the view of plagiarism among students? The research objective is to analyze the development of ICT in education. This research uses a qualitative research method comprising of the data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. The results of the analysis indicate that 43.24% of respondents intentionally commit plagiarism. Most of informants in the research state that the respondents know that the students commit plagiarism. The use of the Garuda portal and turnitin.com portal may prevent the plagiarism among students from happening

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalis kinerja guru yang ditinjau dari pengaruh persepsi guru terhadap kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama, survei dilakukan pada guru SMA Negeri di Jakarta Selatan. Jika ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan, maka seberapa kuat pengaruh persepsi guru terhadap kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru. Metode penelitian adalah survei dengan teknik analisis korelasi dan regresi untuk mengetahui pengaruh antar masing-masing variabel. Sampel yang dijadikan objek penelitian adalah guru SMAN 49, SMAN 97 dan SMAN 109 dengan menyebar kuesioner. Dari hasil analisis data dan pengujian hipotesis diperoleh simpulan bahwa: (1) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan persepsi guru atas kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan motivasi kerja secara bersama-sama terhadap kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Jakarta Selatan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai sig. 0,002 < 0,05 dan F hitung = 7,037. (2) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan persepsi guru atas kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Jakarta Selatan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai sig. 0,023 < 0,05 dan t hitung = 2,337. (3) Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru SMA Negeri di Jakarta Selatan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai sig. 0,017 < 0,05 dan t hitung = 2,457.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the strategy of Islamic Education (PAI) on learning of aqidah in formal educational institutions, especially in public school in an effort to prevent and overcome a heresy in SMK Teratai Putih Global 4 Bekasi. The problem of learning aqidah in Islamic education in public school is the lack of time which is only 2 hours a week. This qualitative research uses a case study technique, in which the data are acquired through an interview, document analysis, participatory observation and triangulation techniques. In this research, the researcher uses qualitative data related to issues to be discussed, namely the strategy of preventing and overcoming a heresy. The result of the research shows that in general, strategy of Islamic education on aqidah learning includes: 1) Incorporating aqidah materials on heresy prevention through Islamic Education subject in initial assistance (introduction) or before teaching the materials. The substance is providing information or understanding related to a heretical movement (haraqah), then explaining its criteria, recruitment strategies, dangers and tips to avoid its persuasion. 2), learning aqidah routinely for 5 minutes after performing dzuhur prayer together, 3) providing aqidah mentoring to student’s Islamic organization (rohis).

Abstract

Problem-solving skill requires the ability to think creatively in exploring various alternatives or solutions. Someone’s ability to think has different levels depending on works he produces. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out an analysis of the determination of student’s creativity level by employing a fuzzy mamdani method. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas XI SMK Bina Taqwa Depok yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen. Dalam penelitian ini, dua variabel tersebut adalah model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) dan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Sampel diambil dengan teknik random sampling. Sebelum melakukan uji hipotesis, terlebih dahulu dilakukan uji persyaratan data di antaranya: pengujian normalitas menggunakan uji Lilliefors dan pengujian homogenitas menggunakan uji fisher. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji-t. Pada hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT) lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Student Teams-Achievement Divisions (STAD).

Abstract

This study will discuss the education quality assurance in Indonesia through school accreditation. The methods used in this study are critical analysis and library methods. Quality assurance in education is a systematic and integrated activity performed by an educational unit or program and its practitioners, local and central governments and community in an effort to raise the level of the nation’s intelligence through education. School accreditation, a form of public accountability, is a comprehensive assessment of the feasibility of an educational program with reference to National Education Standards (SNP). Accreditation process is conducted by comparing the real condition of schools to the eight established criteria (standards). In practice, it is the sustainable application and development of these eight standards that lead to the quality education. The implementation of accreditation is expected to encourage or establish an atmosphere conducive to the educational development, to provide directions for conducting sustainable self-evaluation and to be an incentive to continuously achieve the desired quality that can indirectly assure the education quality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how much influence of supervision by supervisor and teachers’ self-confidence in teachers to job satisfaction. The sample of research is 230 teachers from 571 people with civil servant teacher status, with simple random sampling technique, thus representing teacher population at 14 SMKN in East Jakarta administration area. The type of data used is cross section data obtained by using questionnaire. Result of calculation of path analysis obtained result: (1). supervision affects the direct job satisfaction increase of 32.5%, and through self-confidence of 6.1%. This means the influence of supervision and self-confidence together to increase job satisfaction by 38.6%. (2). Self confidence directly affects the increase in job satisfaction by 8.8%, and indirectly through supervision of 6.1%, which means the amount of influence sel-confidence and supervision to increase job satisfaction of 14.9%. (3). Supervision has a direct effect to increase self-confidence by 12.8%. Thus, the three results of the above analysis can be concluded that: (a). Increased supervision leads to increased job satisfaction, (b). Increased self-confidence leads to increased work satisfaction, and (c). Increased supervision leads to increased self-confidence.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the difficulties of learning mathematics students who have problems with their families or broken home. The place of this research is a private high school in East Jakarta, namely Uswatun Hasanah High School. The research sample is students who have problems outside of school, namely problems with their families. The method of this research is an exploratory survey with a qualitative approach. Data collection of this research are interviews, observations and documents from research subjects. Two broken home children were the subjects of this study. The results of this study indicate that the process of learning mathematics for students who are broken home needs special handling in the form of advice and enthusiasm from mathematics teachers, counseling teachers, and homeroom teachers and is expected to be given effective learning methods to make students more focused in learning and more mature in face the problem

Abstract

This research is aimedat examining the improvement in mathematical understanding ability of students learning with an advance organizer model and those learning with a conventional learning model. This quasi-experimental research uses a non-equivalent control group design and purposive sampling technique. The population of this research is SMPN students in Padang, with the sample consisting of 30 students from class VII which is an experimental class and 30 students from class VII which is a control class. The instruments used are pre-test and post-test administered to the students to test their mathematical understanding ability. The data are analyzed applying the average difference test (independent samples t-test and Mann-Whitney U test). The result of the research shows students learning with an advance organizer model have an improvement in mathematical understanding ability better than those learning with a conventional learning model.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to comprehensively understand the effect of empowerment and job satisfaction on the job performance of lecturer in Universitas Majalengka, West Java. The research uses a survey method with path analysis technique by distributing questionnaires as a research instrument. 80 respondents are involved by writing their feedback on the questionnaires. Those respondents are selected applying Simple Random Sampling among all lecturers working at Universitas Majalengka. The results of research, analysis and interpretation reveal that (1) empowerment has a direct positive effect on job performance, (2) job satisfaction has a direct positive effect on job performance, (3) empowerment has a direct positive effect on job satisfaction.
