Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the Saman dance of the Aceh people that focuses on the analysis of the function of Saman that becomes the identity of the Gayo people. The identity and the actualization of Saman in accordance to the religion and customs of the Gayo people include some aspects that create the dance of the Aceh people, such as: socio-religious life, philosophies, symbols, norms and ethics. In the analysis, Saman has some values that make it as the identity of the Aceh people in the present and future life.Keywords: Saman Dance, Identity, Actualization

Abstract

AbstractIt is acknowledged that the struggle faced by the batik industry, particularly in the Province of East Java, dealing with growth challenges caused by several factors: less attractive design, the conventional use of manual handling, and less governmental-institutional support. The purpose of thisstudy is to analyze the performance of centers of Batik industry in Sampang, Trenggalek and Tuban Regencies highlighting their related-production quality and quantity. The location selection of batik production centers is based on coordination with Department of Industry and Trade in each area. Data is collected through surveys and interviews. This study concludes several things. There are six production system elements analyzed in this research included technology (production capacity of batik), funding, raw material, human resources, marketing, and pattern design.Keywords: batik pattern, micro small medium entreprises, productivity

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to know the quality of Boer liquid semen during storage by adding sweet orange essential oil and gentamicin into the tris yolkextender.The semenlongevity test was carried out by storing semen in a closed tube at room temperature and refrigerator, and evaluated motility and Viability every 3 hours at room temperature and 12 hours in refrigerator. The results showed that the characteristics of the liquid semen, with the addition of 1% of essential oils showed percentage of motility and Viability significantly higher than 0.5% and without the addition of essential oil, either stored at room temperature or in the refrigerator. This may be related to the content of essential oils of sweet orange peel containing flavonoids and antibacterials that are capable of maintaining liquid semen quality of Boer Goat.In addition, gentamicin contains antibacterials capable of suppressing the growth of bacteria which can damage and durabilitythe spermatozoa.Keywords: Boer Goat,Gentamicin, Liquid semen, Sweet orange

Abstract

Abstract Pertuni member data (Indonesian Blind Union) of Central Java has not been managed well, so when the institution requesting the data for researching and empowering for the blind within the country or abroad, Pertuni party can not give the accurate data. Information delivery is still using the letter sent through post office which will take a long time, so it will often lead the miscommunication and delay of the information between the board and members of the branch. The purpose of this activity is the provision of facilities supporting media data management and information dissemination member of Pertuni Central Java so it will have the better management. Abstract

AbstractGrated chips business developed by Mr. Bakri and Mrs. Armawati in Sukadamai Village Pulo Bandring District is still less developed and needs to be assisted. The process of grated chips production is still constrained by the low skills or innovation of processed products made from cassava produced. The two partners only make the grate, while the competition for this business continues to increase. Each day the chips grated production of these partners business can produce a total of 60 kg / day or 56 packs of grated chips. Beside that, there is still modern markets demand or cake shops that can not be fulfilled due to the lack of knowledge of partners about innovative products based on cassava and packaging design. In relation to the problems faced by both partners, Pak Bakri and Mrs. Armawati, then in the program of dedication to the community in accordance with the agreement of both partners have been planned and realized the existence of training and production simulation by making new products in the form of emping based sweet potato that can be produced by these two partners with total 90 kg / day or 120 packs/day using a cassava grinder. It also planned the procurement of packaging design tools to assist marketing programs in the fulfillment consumer demand of modern market or cake shops. The purpose of all these activities is to maintain the continuity of business or continuity of grated chips business developed by Mr. Bakri and Mrs. Armawati in Sukadamai Village Pulo Bandring sub-district. The success rate of this devotion program to community has been completed, such as: 1. There is a new product that can be produced by the business of Mr. Bakri and Mrs. Armawati, 2. Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research is to anaylse the influence of world CPO price on real exchange rate of Rupiah through the changes of money supply, interest rate, and inflation. This is a quantitative research employing eviews 6.0. This current research hasshown that the influence of world CPO price to real exchange rate of Rupiah through the changes of money supply, interest rate, and inflation in Indonesia between 2008(q1-q4) – 2015(q1-q4)) is significant and of positive value. Data analysis in this research wasemploying descriptive method, equipped with econometric data analysis with double linier regression analysis model applied by using regression. Abstract

AbstractThe common problem of livestock is abundant greenery during the rainy season and shortages in the dry season. The condition is bad for the health and productivity of livestock Preservation of animal feed technology is conducted by a team from Institute of Research and Community Service (LPPM) of Universitas Lampung, in Toto Mulyo Village, Way Bungur District, East Lampung. The purpose of the processing and preservation of forage feed source of fiber is to utilize forage in the rainy season, maintain the quality of forage, overcome the difficulty of forage in the dry season, improve the quality of forage fiber sources that have low nutrient content. Preservation technique is made silage (to maintain the quality of forage), while to improve the forage quality is done by fermentation and amoniation. The activities were carried out with the design of preserved livestock feeding equipment, training on the use and care of targeted farmer groups (Karya Makmur and Jati Diri 6), group management assistance, the handover of the preserved animal feed technology package, and formed a pilot group. The result of community service is a package of livestock feed preservation technology (silage and ammoniasi).Keywords: ammoniation, livestock feed preservation, fermentation, productivity, silage

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study is to examine the ability to think logically in physics teachers candidates based on gender. The study was carried out in Medan State University that is acknowledged as one of leading Teaching-based Institution (locally known as Lembaga Pendidikan Tenaga Kependidikan, henceforth abbreviated as LPTK) in Medan. This research used an instrument that further examining the Test of Logical Thinking (TOLT). The total research sample is 70 people, consisting of 27 male and 43 female students. The results showed that male students have a higher logical thinking ability than female students. Abstract

AbstractThe people's need of legal certainty is the responsibility of all parties to make it happen. Various cases raised in society require the law enforcement agencies to follow up and protect the witnesses and victims. Gorontalo city is inseparable with some legal cases taken place in urban communities that require contributions from law enforcement agencies, including universities. This study focuses on the implementation of law on the protection of witnesses and victims for the law existence to people in Gorontalo city that employed normative juridical method in which it is a law study aimed at finding out the norms and “das Sollen”. The result reveals that the implementation of law on the protection of witnesses and victims to people in Gorontalo city has not been effectively applied as resulted from the empirical factual review. Further, there are five important aspects that determine the existence of witness and victim protection agency, including 1) laws, 2) the witnesses’ and victims’ mental attitude, 3) professional law enforcement officers, 4) community control, 5) electronic media. Keywords: Protection, Witnesses, Victims

Abstract

Abstract The Child of Sex Exploitation Commercial (CSEC) is a fundamental violation of the rights of children. The violation is sexual violence by an adult with a gift to a child, or a third person, or other persons. Simply put, children are treated as sexual and commercial objects. This is a manifestation of forced labor and modern slavery, because not a few children are forced and subjected to physical violence and trauma. The purpose of this study is to examine the legal arrangements for the sexual exploitation of children in Indonesia, to examine and analyze prevention and mitigation of CSEC in Medan City, and to examine barriers to prevention and overcoming of CSEC and how to overcome it. This study uses sociological juridical approach that comes from primary data and secondary data. Data were collected through document studies and interviews conducted to Medan City Center for Childhood Study and Protection (PKPA) staff. The results of the study indicate that the legal arrangement of CSEC in Indonesia is conducted by stipulating several regulations, firstly, Child Protection Act No. 23 of 2002 and the Law on Eradication of Human Trafficking Crime Number 21 of 2007, besides Indonesia has ratified the UN Convention on Human Rights Rights of the Child (CRC) through Presidential Decree No. 36 of 1990. Efforts made to prevent and control the CSEC in Medan City, namely: to socialize in cooperation with various agencies to conduct prevention and prevention of criminal act in the city of Medan CSEC; building networks with various non-governmental organizations and with various institutions to give birth to Regional Regulation (Perda) Number 6 of 2004 on the Elimination of Trafficking in North Sumatra, making efforts of legal advocacy and advocacy from the Prosecutor to the Court; provide assistance to rehabilitate the physical and psychological child victims of CSEC (counseling and medical) and provide safe homes for children. Obstacles in preventing and preventing CSEC in Medan are: legislation that has not been specifically set CSEC, social, economic and psychological factors such as the attitude of community permissive or ignorance of CSEC issues, closed or complicated bureaucracy.Keywords: Efforts, Countermeasures, CSEC
