Abstract

COVID 19 is a disease caused by SARS-CoV-2. This virus spread very quickly to almost all countries including Indonesia. Bali tourism has developed in such a way and contributed greatly to regional development directly or indirectly. Gross Regional Domestic Product or GRDP has an important role in increasing the economic growth of a region, where the higher the GRDP, it can be said that the economic growth is also high. This study aims to analyze the impact of COVID 19 on the GRDP of the Province of Bali using an intervention model. The data used in this study is secondary data from quarterly GRDP on the basis of current prices in the accommodation, food and drink sector. Data was collected from the first quarter of 2010 to the fourth quarter of 2021. Based on the modeling that has been carried out with the intervention model, the best model to predict the impact of COVID 19 on GRDP in Bali Province is ARIMA(0,1,0)(1,0,0)4 r=1 with SMAPE value of 8.327 and MdAPE of 0.067.

Abstract

This research discusses a numerical method for determining the stationary waves as a solution of Nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equations. In general, solutions for the partial differential equations can be solved analytically. However, most the solutions of the nonlinear wave equations are difficult to determine analytically. Therefore, a numerical approach is needed to determine the solution of the NLS equation. One of the numerical methods can be used to find the solution of the NLS equation is the Petviashvili iteration method. For case study, the NLS equation has been generated by the theory of Bose-Einstein condensation which contain potential function . To solve this problem, we generalized Petviashvili iteration method to determine the stationary waves solution easily. The most interesting result for this study is by modification of Petviashvili iteration method, we can make it easier to find a stationary solution for the nonlinear Schrodinger equation which containing the Bose-Einstein condensation potential function .

Abstract

The district map in Grobogan Regency can be optimized using the Greedy algorithm. The point on the graph represents the district and the line represents two areas that are directly adjacent. Greedy Algorithm is one of the algorithms developed to solve the problem of graph coloring to be able to produce minimal colors that are used without having the same color in areas that are directly adjacent. Greedy’s algorithm uses a set of color candidates and solutions in its solution. Staining is done at the point with the greatest degree followed by an examination of the appropriateness of the color with the principle that no neighboring points have the same color. The resulting color is included in the solution set. The process is continued until all the dots have been colored. Regional coloring in Grobogan district produces four colors with a greedy algorithm as the minimum color solution obtained

Abstract

Poverty is a fundamental problem because it deals with the basic needs of society. In NTB Province, many households are living below the poverty line. One reason is that the government's efforts to reduce poverty are not optimal. Therefore, it is necessary to classify the factors that affect the poverty level so it can be used as a reference in making policies to reduce poverty. One of the classification methods is the Random Forest method. The Random Forest method with the optimal mtry and ntree scores, i.e.,  and , respectively, obtained an accuracy rate of 81.3%. This means that the accuracy of the Random Forest classification method for this data is very good. The income variable is the most influential factor in determining poverty status based on Random Forest analysis, with a Mean Decrease Accuracy score of 23.92%. It has the highest Mean Decrease Accuracy value among other attribute variables.

Abstract

The normal distribution is an important assumption for many statistical methods. The t-distribution is similar to the normal distribution, but there are differences in variance and free degree depending on the sample size. Normality testing usually uses Kolmogorov-Smirnov, Anderson-Darling, and Shapiro-Wilk tests. Simulating was performed on data derived from normal distributions, t-distributions, and exponential distributions. In the N(10,2) generation data, it was found that the Shapiro-Wilk method was better than other methods, while in a large sample, it was found that the Anderson-Darling method was better than the other methods. The data for the generation of the distribution of t(1) shows that the cumulative value of rejecting  is close to 100%, meaning the data is not normally distributed. In a near-normal t(20) distribution, but not a normal data gain, Anderson-Darling and Shapiro-Wilk test performance showed good results. Meanwhile, in the t(100) generation data, the result was obtained that the most consistent cumulative value was the Anderson-Darling method. Furthermore, the Exp(1) data generator produces a cumulative value of rejecting  close to 100%, with the most consistent method being Kolmogorov-Smirnov. So it can be known that the normality test selection depends on the number of samples and the data distribution.

Abstract

The concept of rough set was first introduced by Pawlak in 1982. The basic concepts in set theory such as intersections, unions, differences, and complements still apply to rough sets. Furthermore, researchers in the field of mathematics and informatics who study rough sets can relate the concept of rough sets to algebraic structures so that a concept called rough algebraic structures is obtained. Some concepts on rough algebraic structures are rough groups, rough rings, and rough modules. In this paper, the properties related to the ideal of roughness will be given to the rough ring.

Abstract

Quality control of Mathematics graduates of FMIPA UNRAM in 2012-2018 with a control chart of the Multivariate Exponentially Weighted Moving Average (MEWMA), is carried out to determine the quality of graduates of the Mathematics Study Program FMIPA UNRAM and to compare the quality of Mathematics graduates FMIPA UNRAM in 2012-2018 using MEWMA and T2 Hotelling control charts. In this test, control was carried out using three control variables, namely the Grade Point Average , length of study , and the number of Semester Credit Units . This study used the weighting value  with the Upper Control Limit (UCL) of 10,685. The results obtained that the control chart formed to show that 42 data are outside the control limits (out of control), which causes the quality of graduates to be out of control. Using the EWMA univariate control chart, it is known that the length of study variable  causes the data to be out of control. Therefore, a revision was made to the MEWMA control chart so that the quality control process for Mathematics FMIPA Mataram University graduates was within the control limits after the second revision. This is indicated by the absence of observation points  outside the control limits so that the quality of mathematics graduates can be said to be good. Furthermore, a comparison of the results of observations with the quality of Mathematics graduates of Mataram University using the T2 Hotelling control chart in the previous study was carried out with the results that there was one data subgroup that was outside the control limit with = 14.5249 which led to the need for one revision of the T2 Hotelling control chart to obtain statistically controlled diagram. Thus, it can be said that the MEWMA control chart is more sensitive than the Hotelling T2 control chart.

Abstract

Data on the number of deaths due to Dengue Fever in statistics is count data often approximated by a Poisson distribution. However, if overdispersion occurs, Poisson regression is no longer sufficient, so the Negative Binomial and Generalized Poisson Regression approaches are used. From the two models, the best model was chosen based on the smallest AIC value, 66.50, namely the Negative Binomial Regression model. From this model, factors that have a significant effect are determined based on the p-value, and the factor ratio of health facilities per 100,000 population  is obtained.

Abstract

Each village has different characteristics and is constantly changing along with the level of development in a village. These changes in conditions are used as indicators to classify villages into urban or rural village status. In this study, researchers will compare or evaluate of several data mining methods, namely decision trees, support vector machines, naïve bayes, and random forests to find the best algorithm in classifying urban villages and rural villages in Purwakarta and West Bandung Regencies. The data used in this study were 357 records and 8 attributes sourced from village potential data (Podes 2021). Furthermore, it was obtained that the best method in classifying urban villages and rural villages is to use random forests with accuracy value and F- score of 0,9.

Abstract

Clean water is essential for humans which must be fulfilled for humans survival. The population in Jonggat, Central Lombok, increases from year to year which causes the using of clean water get an increase too. The necessity of rising clean water is not in line with the availability of water in nature, therefore the PDAM (Regency Municipality Waterworks) manages existing water resource. Then, it will be distributed to consumers. The purpose of this research is to determine the optimal solution in the distribution of clean water in Jonggat using Ford Fulkerson algorithm and Dinic algorithm. Both Ford Fulkerson algorithm and Dinic algorithm are methods used to calculate the maximum flow in a network. Based on the results of research using Python software on the Ford Fulkerson algorithm, the maximum current is 133 liters/second, while using the Dinic algorithm, the maximum current is 133.49 liters/second. Meanwhile, the average water flow is delivered by PDAM is 95 liters/second. It means, it can be added the amount of flow in the clean water distribution pipe by the PDAM. It’s for facilitating the flow of water that reaches consumers with the addition of a flow that cannot exceed 133.49 liters/second.
