Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve students' learning discipline at MTs Miftahul Jannah Palangka Raya by using group guidance services. The population in this study amounted to 32 students. The number of research samples consisted of 8 students. Sampling is determined by Random Sampling technique. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and the scale of learning discipline. The method used is pre-experiment, the technique of collecting data using the Paired-Sample T Test formula or better known as Pre-Post Design is an analysis involving two measurements on the same subject against a particular influence or treatment. The results of the study show that: based on analysis with Paired-Sample T-Test, it shows that students' learning discipline has an initial average increase of 130.13 to 234.13. This means "Group Guidance Services Can Improve Learning Discipline of Students at MTs Miftahul Jannah Palangka Raya 2016/2017 Academic Year". The results of the analysis show that the eight students in the research subject experienced an increase in learning discipline after the intervention.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out that problem-solving techniques can reduce academic procrastination behaviour towards students of class X The population in this study were all students of class X IIS 3 of SMAN-1 Palangka Raya. The number of initial research samples consisted of 8 and finally only seven students. Sampling is determined by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and the scale of procrastination behaviour. The method used is pre-experiment, data analysis techniques using Paired Sample T-Test or better known as Pre-Post Design is an analysis involving two measurements on the same subject to a particular influence or treatment. Based on the results of the study and discussion above, it can be concluded that the problem-solving technique can reduce the behaviour of academic procrastination of students in Class X of IIS-3 of SMAN-1 Palangka Raya. This is based on the results of the Paired-Sample T-Test, obtained t count = 6.264 can be concluded that there are differences in the level of procrastination before and after treatment. Procrastination behaviour has decreased from the initial average of 147.78 to 164.78. It means "Problem-solving techniques can reduce the expression of academic procrastination. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify assertive behaviour of students at MTs Miftahul Jannah Palangkaraya. The research subjects were eight people, consisting of 3 students, two homeroom teachers, two subject teachers, and 1 BK teacher. The technique of collecting data uses observation and interviews. The research approach used in this study is qualitative. The results of the survey show that: Students at MTs Miftahul Jannah Palangkaraya have not shown assertive behaviour, this is indicated by several aspects of assertive behaviour that have not been able to be demonstrated by students, such as in the demand aspect, students have not been able to hold responsibility and maintain personal rights with well. In the issue of rejection, the students have not been able to reject it well, students do not say Yes or No to the contrary wishes of friends. In the aspect of self-expression, students have been able to express thoughts or ideas, but have not been able to express feelings properly and have not been able to criticise wisely. In the aspect of praise, students have not been able to give and receive approval. In the role aspect of the conversation, students can start the discussion well, but have not been able to finish the conversation well.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a difference in understanding of Student Polite regarding the provision of Group Guidance Services based on the Dandang Tingang Philosophy. This study used the Pure Experimental Research approach. The design used is the pretest-posttest control group design. Based on the results of research conducted at Palangka Raya Muhammadiyah Middle School with the results of the calculation of paired sample test with t count on the results of the Pre-test the value of t = 1,088 ≥ and t table 2,10 which shows no difference between the control group and the experimental and postal results -test value t = 5.696 ≥ and t table 2.10 price t count ≥ t table so that Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted it can be said if the experimental group gets better results compared to the control group. In the results of the Pre-test which showed no difference between the experimental and control groups and after being given treatment through group guidance services in the experimental group, the results of the post-test showed there were differences between the control and experimental groups. It can be concluded if the implementation of group guidance services in the experimental class is effective in increasing the understanding of students manners.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Know the level of social prejudice that occurs between students before and after being given service, (2) Knowing group counselling services with Self instruction techniques can reduce students' social prejudice. The type of research used was Experimental Research. The subjects in this study were class X students of SMA N 2 Palangka Raya in the 2016/2017 academic year, which amounted to 8 students. Data collection techniques used are scale and observation. Data analysis using hypothesis testing paired sample t-test. The pretest results showed that students' social prejudice scale scoring was 77.50, which was included in the category of social prejudice which was quite high while the suspension of posttest scores of students was 66.75 included in the medium category. From these data shows that there is a decrease in the level of social prejudice of students after the group counselling service intervention is carried out with self-instruction techniques.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) Know the social interaction profile of IV-A students in SD Negeri 1 Kalampangan, (2) Know the effectiveness of group guidance with traditional games (gobak sodor) to improve social interaction of IV-A students in elementary school Negeri 1 Kalampangan. The study population was 21 IV-A students in SD Negeri 1 Kalampangan with 21 students and 15 students as the research sample. The method used is an experiment, with the Pre-Post Design experiment that is analysis involving two measurements on the same subject against a particular influence or treatment. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and scale. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The level of social interaction of IV-A class students in SD Negeri 1 The results based on the results of the Paired Sample T-Test showed that social interaction behaviour had an initial increase of 40.10 (2) after given treatment (treatment) to the number of improvements on average by 72.50 with an average amount of increases of 30, (3) Meaning "Group guidance services with traditional games (gobak sodor) can increase social interaction of IV-A class students at SD Negeri 1 Kalampangan.

Abstract

The objectives in this study are: analysing the aspects that affect the self-esteem of students in Marikit Middle School 1. The population in this study amounted to 254 students. The total sample consisted of 63 students. Sampling is determined by random sampling technique. Data collection techniques use observation, and scale aspects that affect self-esteem, data analysis techniques using the percentage formula. The results of the study show that the self-esteem of students in Marikit Middle School tends to be low. The aspects that affect students' self-esteem are weak, namely: 1) Feelings of quality aspects, (the small category that is 51%); 2) Aspects of feeling capable (medium category, ie 57%); and 3) Feelings accepted (a low grade that is 39%). Based on the results of the analysis of aspects of self-esteem possessed by students in 1 Marikit Middle School tend to be low influenced by elements of feelings of worth and characters of feeling accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors causing low self-confidence in 1/4 Mutwasit Arunsat Vittaya School class students, in Payo, Saiburi, Pattani, Southern Thailand. The approach used in the study of the causes of Low-Self Confidence in 1/4 Mutwasit Arunsat Vittaya School students, in Payo, Saiburi, Pattani, Southern Thailand is a qualitative approach to the type of case study. The results of this study indicate that the causes of Low-Self Confidence in 1/4 Mutwasit Arunsat Vittaya School, in Payo, Saiburi, Pattani, Southern Thailand consist of internal and external factors. The internal factors include self-concept, self-esteem, physical condition, and life experience. While external factors include education, work and the environment

Abstract

The purpose of this study to find out the development of content mastery services with educational cinema techniques can reduce the behaviour of academic procrastination of class VIII-B students at the Mts Muslimat NU Palangka Raya. The trial of the development of content mastery services with educational cinema techniques was obtained from the results of the Wilcoxon test statistic which showed a posttest value lower than the pretest value. The results of the statistical analysis of differences in academic procrastination behaviour after the pretest and posttest five that the Asyimp value. Sig. (2-tailed) Is 0.00. Because of Asyimp. Sig. <real level (α / 2 = 0.05) then Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted. The model of content mastery services with effective educational cinema techniques can reduce students' academic procrastination behaviour. This conclusion is based on the comparison of the results of the pretest and posttest scores which showed a decrease in the students' academic procrastination behaviour before and after being given content mastery services with educational cinema techniques.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of group counselling with sensory awareness relaxation techniques to improve self-control of angry emotions in adolescents at the Palangka Raya Youth Development Institution. The population in this study were all adolescents in the Palangka Raya Community Development Board of Social Institutions, which amounted to 30 teenagers consisting of 26 men and four women. Sampling is determined by purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation and scale. The data analysis technique used in this study is the t-test (paired sample t-test). From the analysis of t-test results (paired sample t-test), it is known that t count is -10, 380 with a probability value or sig. (2-tailed) of 0, 000 <0, 05, because of the sig value. (2-tailed) of 0, 000 less than 0.05, it can be concluded that "Group Counseling Services with Sensory Relaxation Technique Can Improve Self-Control Against Angry Emotions in Adolescents at the Palangka Raya Youth Development Institution".
