Abstract

The National Electricity Company (PLN) as the only company that supplies electricity in Indonesia continues to develop to realize that it can deliver electricity to the entire community from cities to remote villages. However, in August 2019, PT. PLN experienced an event that occurred beyond the expectations of all parties, namely a simultaneous blackout or blackout caused by a disruption in the transmission network on the Ungaran-Pemalang line. The phenomenon of power outages has a tremendous impact on aspects of vital objects in the area of ​​DKI Jakarta, Banten, West Java, and parts of Central Java and resulted in the company's image gets worse. This study uses a qualitative approach to find out and explain the blackout phenomenon that can reduce the company's negative image in public. The data collection method is done by interviewing and observing with several parties directly involved in the completion of the blackout. The results of the study indicate that there is a need for participation from the Public Relations department to be able to restore the negative image situation regarding the impact of blackouts in the community through adaptive crisis management strategies using operational modification, compromise, and transfer of facilities contained in the public relations work program. The conclusion of the research shows that the handling of adaptive strategies by the Public Relations of PT. PLN in dealing with a blackout crisis can be handled well and produce the value that is quite effectively felt by the public.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries whose economies are influenced by family businesses. A study states that 25% of Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is affected by family businesses. The high influence and role of family business in Indonesia makes the sustainability and growth of family business very important to be considered carefully. But the family company has a unique problem, that is company succession. Often the family business can only survive until the second or third generation, then can not develop further or even closed. Therefore a succession process is needed so that the family company does not have a bad ending. In this succession process, communication has a crucial role. One of the family companies that has managed in making succession by maximizing communication is PT Catur Putra Harmonis. The Makassar-based family company has not only succeeded in maintaining its business across generations, but has also been able to expand the business more broadly. Communication has a role in various stages of succession including the provision of knowledge about the company, training, work trials, meetings with stakeholders, and performance accountability. Cross-generation communication becomes the main key so that the succession process can run well and smoothly.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to find out how Journalism Communication Science students perceive the credibility of Detik.com Online Media, which includes three dimensions, namely trustworthiness, current, and unbiased. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method, using in-depth interviews and field observations. The methodology with a qualitative approach is used in order to have a complete and in-depth picture of the problem under study. The results of this study concluded that the credibility of Detik.com Online Media in the view of Communication Studies Journalism students at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung was positive. Broadly speaking, Detik.com Online Media is credible media. However, there are a number of things that need to be reviewed in the news presentation system which are presented gradually under different titles but are still in one issue, but that does not affect students' opinions about the belief in reporting on Detik.com Online Media.

Abstract

Indonesia yang sebanyak 64,8% penduduknya sudah menggunakan Internet dan 160 Juta jiwa merupakan pengguna sosial media, membuat Indonesia merupakan pasar yang menjanjikan oleh para pelaku industry sosial media, seperti aplikasi Tik Tok. Ditahun 2020 aplikasi Tik Tok menjadi budaya populer di Indonesia, karena masyarakat Indonesia pasti mengetahui aplikasi iini dan menjadi penggunanya.Populernya Tik Tok di Indonesia menjadi media yang ideal oleh World Health Organization (WHO) yang mengkampanyekan gerakan cuci tangan yang benar untuk memutus penularan Virus COVID-19 atau yang dikenal dengan nama corona dengan memproduksi video serta hastag #safehands challenge di aplikasi Tik Tok yang selanjutnya para creator memproduksi konten video versi mereka sendiri dan menambahkan hastag #safehands challenge untuk mengikuti challenge ini.Kampanye lewat video dengan hastag #safehands challenge ini banyak disaksikan, namun ada beberapa point yang mendasari video mana yang paling banyak disaksikan,sukai dan share oleh pengguna Tik Tok.

Abstract

Coffee shop kopi tuli merupakan coffee shop pertama di Indonesia yang dikelola oleh kaum disabilitas tuli. Coffee shop kopi tuli memiliki keunikan dari interaksi dengan pelanggan menggunakan bahasa isyarat yang merupakan value yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai strategi komunikasi pemasaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuntuk mengetahui Strategi Komunikasi Pemasaran Terpadu Coffee Shop Kopi Tuli. Metode penelitian pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan paradigma post positivistik. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik Analisis Data berpedoman pada Miles dan Huberman yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, Reduksi data, Penyajian Data dan Penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian kegiatan perencaan dari coffee shop kopi tuli dengan menganalisis masalah melalui analisis pasar, SWOT dan competitor, menganalisis khalayak, merumuskan tujuan komunikasi, pemilihan media dan saluran komunikasi serta pengembangan pesan. Pada kegiatan pelaksanaan yaitu melalui kegiatan personal selling, sales promotion, public relation dan publisitas, event dan pengalaman. Kegiatan evaluasi dengan cara mengukur kerja.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the existing condition of the regional innovation system in East Belitung Regency and analyze the challenges and opportunities in managing regional potential and creating superior commodities. The qualitative method is the approach in this study using secondary data sourced from related policy documents, while primary data is obtained through interviews and focus group discussions with stakeholders in East Belitung Regency. Research variables use variables from the general framework that are conducive to innovation and business. The results showed that various policies and regulations that could encourage the growth of the business sector and new industries in the form of regulations related to licensing and providing business funding assistance for business actors. Policies that encourage business activities, such as tax incentives and industrial and trade incentives, do not yet exist in East Belitung Regency. Likewise, policies or regulations related to the development of regional innovation activities and other carrying capacity, also not yet regulated. The current condition of RIS has not yet been formed in East Belitung Regency. However, some variable indicators to support the effectiveness of RIS have been owned and have been relatively implemented, although they are still sporadic and sectoral in nature. This condition remains an important capital for the preparation and strengthening of East Belitung Regency RIS. Of course, this basic capital still needs strengthening and development to be able to sustain RIS that works effectively.
