Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know simultaneously and partially from three variables, namely human resource development (X1), organizational culture (X2) and motivation (X3) on employee performance (Y); and which variables are dominant. This study uses assessment method that is research that consider to explain the status of variables studied and the relationship between one variable with other variables and recommendations hypothesis that has been formulated. This research use Likert scale, while data processing with doubled linear regression technique. The results of the analysis are: 1. Simultaneously, the development of human resources, organizational culture and work motivation that affect the performance of employees; 2. Partially, the development of human resources, organizational culture and work motivation that affect the performance of employees; 3. Organizational culture has a dominant influence on employee performance with other variables.

Abstract

Teaching and learning English used “teacher center oriented” method hasn’t encourage students’ motivation to gain the determined achievement yet. The fact shows that the second semester students of class VIII D in the year of 2011/2012SMP Negeri 2 Karangan have found difficulties in learning English especially for basic competence 11.2, “ reading functional text about greeting card”. When conducting assessment on reading comprehension, the average students achievement is 68,92 from 24 students. The classical mastery learning rate is 54,17 %. It is still under the Englishlearning minimum criteria (KKM) of the eight grade, namely 70. Therefore, the research is held to overcome the problem through the implementation of Team Game Tournament (TGT) learning method. The learning design is aimed to create “students center” learning activities in order to be able to provide active, creative, joyful and meaningful learning. The classroon action research is held in two cycles. Each consists of 4 steps that are planning, acting, observing and reflecting. In addition there are 2 meeting in each cycle.So there are two data got, from cycle 1 and cycle 2. In conclusion, TGT learning model can enhance the students’ average achievement from 71,25 in cycle 1 into 79,33 in cycle 2.The improvement can also be seen in percentage ofclassical mastery learning, 54,17 in pra cycle, 70,83% in cycle 1 and it becomes 87,50% in cycle 2.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the role play can improve Speaks Skill class VII H SMP Negeri 2 Ambulu Even Semester of Lesson 2015/2016. This is shown by the courage of speaking students who are very lacking and learning achievement of students who are far from the minimum standard of mastery. Based on the results of research conducted shows that there has been increasing Skill Speaks by students through role play. The subjects were 36 students of class VII H C SMP N 1 Ambulu consisting of 16 men and 20 women. Each cycle is carried out through the stage of action planning, action execution, Observation (observation), and reflection and evaluation at the end of the cycle. Methods of data collection used are methods of observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The analysis technique used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis. This study is a classroom action research with 2 cycles. These improvements can be seen in the results of learning activities that increase from cycle I to cycle II. Student score of cycle I average 75.14 to 80.42 in cycle II. This increased 11.11%, the classical completeness value of cycle 1 and cycle 2 from 75.00% to 86.11%.

Abstract

Reading narrative text means that is purposed to understand the content of a narrative text or story, narrative text is based on in order of events or phenomenon where is the main character in that story get the problem until in the top of the crisis and then get the end of the resolution, the story can be happy ending or sad ending. This text has a purpose to entertain the reader or listener. The result of the research show that by the game of rummy card can improve the learning outcome of reading narrative text of student class VIII E SMP Negeri 5 Trenggalek in the second semester academic year 2010/2011. The percentage of completeness of classical learning activity in cycle I reached 55% with grade average grade 64, while the percentage of completeness of classical learning activity in cycle II reach 95% with grade average grade 77. There is an increase of classical learning activity 30%.

Abstract

his research is conducted at Islamic University of Jember. The research sample is 30 people, the purpose of this research is 1) to know the influence of simultaneous, partial and dominant influence from education, training and teaching experience to lecturer professionalism at Islamic University of Jember. Variables in this study consist of free variables include education (X1), Training (X2) and Experience teaching (X3); Variable bound by lecturer professionalism (Y). The results showed that simultaneously education, training and teaching experience had a very significant influence on the professionalism of lecturers at the Islamic University of Jember evidenced by the value of Fhitung is 2.504. Partially, education, training and teaching experience have a significant influence on the professionalism of lecturers at the Islamic University of Jember. This is evidenced by the value t arithmetic each independent variable namely: education value of t count equal to 3,073, training t value count 2,456 and experience t teaching value count 4,354. thus it can be said that all partially free variables have a significant influence on lecturer professionalism t value counted 2.957 with significance level 0.007; as well as teaching experience have a dominant influence in influencing professionalism of education, training and teaching experience on lecturer professionalism at Islamic University of Jember.

Abstract

A country with diverse societies will be particularly vulnerable to a conflict. Indonesia is a country that has a situation that is faced with problems that are not light. It takes this thing so that all components can hiudp safely, comfortably, comfortably and peacefully for the life of society, nation and state. However, this beloved nation of Indonesia is still covered by various koflik that appear in the community. The community needs to be equipped with various knowledge about the state of banggsanya early on. Education is the right thing to cultivate a variety of attitudes that support the creation of peace. Islamic education in Indonesia has become a pillar of nationality. For that how the education of Islam, especially education that is located in Islamic religious institutions seeking to realize a multicultural education in planting and implementation. With a multicultural-based education process, at the university level will provide opportunities to lecturers, students and the community environment to always there will be differences. At that time, the opportunity to appreciate, appreciate, and give support to different parties, will be the beginning of the planting and implementation of a multicultural.

Abstract

This study serves to improve students' ability in writing competence, which proved results. Based on the results of research conducted by class VII B with the number of men 17 students and 20 women showed an increase in writing competency through learning model of sentence concept by students. These improvements can be seen in the results of learning activities that increase from cycle I to cycle II. Students score I cycle average 72,84 to 77,70 in cycle II. The above group increased cadence 18,92%, from cycle 1 was 62,16% to silkus 2 was 81,08%

Abstract

The students’ writing achievement of SMP Negeri 2 Dongko, class IX D especially is low. It can be seen on the mark of students’ assesment on writing Report text. That’s why the research is held as the attempt to find the propper learning model by implementing Round Table model. Hopefully, it is intended to enhance the students’ ability on writing skill. In this case the primary purpose is that the students can explore his idea to compose a good report text. In implementing the Round Table model, the first step is to divide class into small groups consist of 5 students, then In each group the students have to write in turn, a sentence for each, based on the framework they have made before. The research held is Classroom Action Research with the goal to know whether the increasing of the students’ achievement after implementing Round Table model. After the research, the data analized shows that classical learning mastery has increased from 59,46 in pre cycle, 67,89 in cycle 1 and 75,46 in cycle 2. The percentage of learning mastery is also increasing from 57,14% in pre cycle, 71,43% in cycle 1 and 88,57% in cycle 2. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of Round Table model has succeded in increasing the achievement on writting Report Text of the IX D students.

Abstract

Job performance is the result of a work achieved by an employee, through the totality of ability he has to achieve the goals of the organization. This research aims to know the influence of Responsibility, Moral Commitment and Discipline on Employee Performance. The type of research used is descriptive correlasional.jumlah sample in this study population is 35 people who are employees of IKIPPGRI Jember.teknik data collection used by researchers is a questioner. Data analysis used is descriptive statistic and inferential statistic analysis. The results of this study indicate that partially can be seen from the results of t-test that shows that the variable Responsibility (X1) has a significance level of 0.294, Moral Commitment variable (X2) has a significance level of 0.911, variable Discipline (X3) has a significance level of 0.251. Based on these calculations, it can be concluded that the partial responsibilities (X1), Job Performance (X2) and Discipline (X3) has a significant influence on Employee Performance (Y). Simultaneously variable Responsibility, Moral and Disciplinary Commitment significant effect on the dependent variable that is Employee Work Achievement (Y). which can be seen from the value (sig) F <α is 0.001 <0.05. Meanwhile, descriptive analysis shows that with responsibility, moral commitment and high discipline and applied by all employees of IKIP PGRI Jember, it will realize the work achievement in the form of achievement of all targets that have been set.

Abstract

Applying STAD and Map Learning is expected to increase student activity and learning outcomes. The stages of STAD learning model is divided into material presentation stage, group learning stage, quiz stage and award stage. This research uses qualitative approach with Classroom Action Research (PTK) which consist of 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, execution, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were students of class IV SDN Kebonsari 1 Malang. Based on the observation of student activity cycle I is 77.23% with enough category, and increased in cycle II to 87.72%, with good category. This shows that there is an increase of 10.49%. While the average value of the test cycle I is 75.45 with the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes of 89.06%, and increased in the test cycle II with an average score of 79.15 with the percentage of students' learning completeness of 95.31%. Which is an increase in cycle II of 6.25% of cycle I. Based on the above data obtained the conclusion that STAD and map learning can improve student activities and learning outcomes on the material Distribution of flora and fauna.
