Abstract

Asean Economic Community (AEC) implemented in 2015 is an effort to increase economic growth in Southeast Asia. Logistics is one of the priority integration sectors in the AEC.  In the logistics service sector, as a maritime country, Indonesia consists of thousands of islands which are inseparable unity. This condition makes Indonesia as a country that has import port transportation on front line and inter island transportation. In facing the , Indonesia is required to build an integrated National Logistics System (Sislognas).According to the Logistics Performance Index of World Bank 2010 Indonesia was ranked 75 out of 183 countries. Logistic system in Indonesia still need better handling, besides settling vision problem and mission which not yet integrated. In addition to infrastructure, vision and mission to support the improvement of business competitiveness in Indonesia is also not well integrated and coordinated. The system can be realized if supported by human resources who have logistics knowledge. Lack of human resources in the field of logistics more due to two factors, namely quality and speed.  With the implementation of AEC, the government and business people must be ready and face it by preparing business strategy, especially improving human resources in logistics so that Indonesia can compete in this era.Management professionalism, information systems, culture, functional strategies must run simultaneously to achieve a corporate objective. In facing the challenges of globalization of companies or businesses, government and academia need to develop national workforce such as improving the quality of curriculum, as well as effective training to support and improve the quality and motivation of human resources.

Abstract

The traditional market is a trading entity that supports the Indonesian economy to absorb labor force of 12.5 million spread over 13,450 traders traditional markets. But in the traditional market development driven by the modern market presence is indicated by the decline in the trade share of 2% per year (AC Nielsen, 2011). Policies that have not yet noticed the problem in the traditional markets, namely the long supply chain system and undergo several stages of transfer of ownership. The transfer of ownership will lead to inefficiency of distribution channels, resulting in the increase in distribution costs and the selling price of goods. Commodities white crystal sugar is one of the staples which directly influence the dynamics of price inflation. The impact of supply shortages and inefficient distribution networks creates white sugar white sugar price volatility in the country. The purpose of this research to develop a supply chain network model of traditional markets for commodities white sugar with a case study of West Java. Thesolution model using Integer Linear Programming (ILP) with the help of software Lingo 9.0 version. From the test results the model developed total logistics costs proposed model is Rp. 160.403.940.760,  - per year. With the decision to open 9 (nine) distributor, three (3) sub-distributor and seven (7) wholesale. The results of the proposed model lowers the cost of 31% of the existing condition of the distribution network of traditional market after the increase in warehouse capacity by 11%. Meanwhile, when compared with the modern market distribution network which has a total cost of logistics Rp.160.804.298.500,-  per year. So the total cost of the proposed lower logistic models.

Abstract

The State of Indonesia is a country which is according to cultural history and in the days of the kingdom is a maritime country. The country of Indonesia with the largest  islands covers the largest sea, the largest island, and the second longest beach in the world. On this basis, Indonesia currently has a modern port as well as a port for people's voyages. People's voyages are generally identical to traditional wooden boats operated by natural sailors with simple management (Law No. 17/2008 on the voyage of articles 15, paragraphs 1 and 2). The demands of global business are causing people's shipping today to be marginalized. Some problems in the voyage of the people include the procurement of the shipping fleet is hampered by the difficult supply of logs, so it needs to look for other alternatives. Another problem is the guarantee of safety and good service from the voyage of the people The government plans to build the People's Port. This port will be built with a good security system. The sailing of people with the zone of its own. People's voyages are still needed, because remote areas that are not crossed by large auto ships are still dependent on small ships such as KLM  or PLM. In addition, there is a dock that can not be enclosed by iron vessels or shallow harbors. The voyage of the people can overcome it, thus helping national transpotation.Indonesia as the largest archipelago country still requires the voyage of the people as one mode of inter island transportation. The Government is committed to memordenisasi and improve the safety and security of people's shipping by still considering local wisdom. Another problem is the guarantee of safety and good service from the voyage of the people.

Abstract

Abstract

This control study was carried out at the PT AW Printing Company which had quite a number of problems that were often used from its store. The approach is action research with a focus on distributing and storing raw materials for lean manufacturing. The analysis is production staff who need a lot of excess paper that can still be used, and use too much paper in print production. The company then enforces a new procedure that is not possible to get printouts that can still be used using the principle of 7 waste, to use those that cannot be used. Scope of study for the process of distribution, selection and use of raw materials, understanding the meaning of supply preparation (logistics) by employees and delivery of finished products. The results of the study show that product delivery is low to customers because of the low inventory turnover. In the PT XY preparation division, there are approximately 80% of which have potential factors. The contributing factors are long demand for goods, unclear forecasting, not understood standards for demand, inaccurate recording, vital factors affecting raw materials is the selection and use of raw materials.
