Abstract

Tourism is one of the development sectors that received government attention to continue to be developed until now, because this sector is considered quite potential for the development of people's economy. The problem is that the number of foreign tourists who enter the city of Pekanbaru tend to decrease in 2011-2016. The lack of tourist attractions in Pekanbaru especially nature tourism, forcing the government of Pekanbaru City to think of new and interesting sights worth developing. The purpose of this study is to identify the potential and condition of tourism, analyzing Planning, Organizing, Actuating and Controlling, and analyzing the supporting and inhibiting factors from the development of regional tourism potential in the Okura Village of Pekanbaru City of Riau Province. The method to be used is qualitative descriptive research. Management of tourism development potential of the region in the Village Tourism Okura Pekanbaru Riau Province has not run optimally. We can see from the lack of supporting infrastructure, resources and finance also become obstacles. And the absence of participation of stakeholders or other tourism developers in Pekanbaru. The recommendation of this research is to provide special fund to focus on development in Okura Tourism Village. Empowering human resources in Okura Tourism Village by providing various coaching and training, upcoming experts to provide special knowledge to the community in Okura Village. Increase cooperation with private parties or parties that would help the development of Okura Tourism Village so that it can create good coordination between the parties.

Abstract

In many countries, especially in developing countries, there are many social problems that need to be resolved. The high level of poverty and unemployment, the lack of available health facilities, or the low quality of existing education, is an acute problem that becomes a tough domestic work for a developing country's government. Given the current global conditions, where free competition is inevitable, it certainly adds to the long list of strategies that the government must take to tackle various social problems. The government can not struggle and work alone in dealing with the complexity of the existing problems, it is certainly necessary for the active role of all elements of the society so that the problems that whack, can unravel and be solved. One step that can be taken by the government in order to empower and protect the people in the era of free competition is to support, develop, and multiply the existence of social entrepreneurship. Social entrepreneurship has the potential to provide some social solutions that affect a country.This paper shows the concept of social entrepreneurship as historical background, characteristics, challenges faced and business model of social entrepreneurship in order to overcome various social problems that can have a positive impact on economic development.

Abstract

Heavy equipment trading industry is an industry that has a high level of risk. The heavy equipment trading industry is influenced by several factors that determine the condition of the mining industry, the condition of the property industry, the forestry industry and the price of the world's coal commodities. Segmentation to heavy equipment unit is very focused on the company because the heavy equipment unit has a high risk. When viewed from the impact of the impact of the industry is highly a requirement of risk. In accepting and managing these risks, it is necessary to apply risk management with the objective to minimize the risk of loss to the company.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze how much influence service quality, customer value on the level of customer satisfaction. The sampling method used is Proportionate Random Sampling. The sample in this study followed the formula Slovin, or as many as 100 students of  Azzahra University, Jakarta.Data that has met the test of validity and reliability further processed to produce a regression equation Y = 0.484+ 0021 0686 X1 + X2, where Y is the variable rate Student Satisfaction, X1 is a variable Quality of Service and Customer Value X2 is variable.Hypothesis testing using t test showed that each of the independent variables studied was shown to significantly affect partially dependent variable Student Satisfaction.Quality of service partially positive effect on customer satisfaction shown by the r value of 0.663, which means a strong relationship between them. While the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) amounted to 0,439, which means that service quality may explain the variable of student satisfaction of 43.9%, while the remaining 56.1% is explained by other variables.Customer value partially positive effect on customer satisfaction shown by the r value of 0.832 which means the relationship between them is very strong. While the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) amounted to 0,692, which means that service quality may explain the variable of student satisfaction at 69.2%, while the remaining 30.8% is explained by other variables.Then through the F test can be known simultaneously that both variables of service quality and customer value has a significant impact on customer satisfaction shown by the r value of 0.835 which means the relationship between them is very strong. While the value of the coefficient of determination (R2) is equal to 0.697, which means that service quality may explain the variable of student satisfaction at 69.7%, while the remaining 30.3% is explained by other variables.

Abstract

Local government-owned banks (BPD), was established in order to help accelerate the development of the area where the BPD located. The expected goals of this study are: To measure the effect of the placement of funds by BPD on regional economic growth, to measure investment lending by BPD to regional economic growth. Population was all the existing Regional Development Bank in Indonesia. Based on data from Bank Indonesia, the number of regional development banks perDesember 2013 as many as 26 banks. The type of data that will be used in this research is time series data (time series) from January 2009 until December 2013 The model that will be used in this research is the use of panel data. Abstract

The findings of external audits in order to ensure the implementation of ISO 9001 quality management system at LP3I College for three consecutive years provide benefits in the form of improvement, correction  and consistency of the quality management system in accordance with applicable requirements. The methodology used refers to the PDCA methodology as a model for running the management process with continuous improvement. Improved system in the stages of the Plan in the form of Management of quality objectives, analysis and evaluation, as well as back up data. Stage of Do in the form of maintenance evaluation and realization of infrastructure and facilities targets, and Special Basic Skills Ability is set as a reference for the new admissions graduation Criteria. Stages of Check in the form of monitoring and evaluation of Quality Achievements by the leader of his subordinates, analysis and evaluation of customer satisfaction. The Act Stages are an evaluation of the effectiveness of Improvement Measures from the Non Conformance Report (NCR) findings, and makes corrective actions against any non-achievement of quality objectives. Corrections in the implementation of QMS as a solution of the findings by the auditor in the case of nonconformance of internal standards for Plan stage: document validation, re-examination of SOP content, and Evaluation on Outsourcing. For the cycle of Do: supplier evaluation responsibilities. While Check cycle: establishing observation findings as Auditor Suggestions or alternative improvements. Whereas the inconsistency actions that must be controlled so that they are always consistent in carrying out procedures include, stage of Plan : mapping each official according to his competence, stage of Do: the entire course and the recording, and stage of Check: the period of analysis and evaluation of customer satisfaction at least once a year.

Abstract

There were few studies concerning product mix. The research object of this study was Museum Textile Jakarta, where researcher was enthusiastic to observe the influence of product mix towards motivation of tourists visit. The research showed the researcher desire as well to museum tourism which Indonesian did not interest much to visit them, it was contrary with European for instance. Hopefully, this research was able to enhance Indonesian motivation to love more museum world thus coming to visit them eventually. The research reviewed 5 product mix variables (X), i.e., Type, Quality, Packaging, Positioning and Service and 2 motivation variables (Y), i.e., push factors and pull factors. From Stepwise method, result obtained was the most influence variable of X variable towards Y variable was Packaging.

Abstract

Kehadiran internet telah merevolusi cara kerja dunia ini dengan begitu cepatnya. Dunia kini memasuki sebuah era digitalisasi yakni sebuah era yang menekankan pada pola digital economy dan  big data. Big Data melibatkan proses pembuatan data, penyimpanan, penggalian informasi, dan analisis yang menonjol dalam hal volume, velocity, dan variety. Bagi kalangan industri atau praktisi, big data telah membuka peluang untuk menetapkan strategi bisnis. Penelitian ini ingin melihat sejauh mana teknologi Big Data sudah dimanfaatkan di Indonesia baik lembaga pemerintah maupun swasta, apa  tantangan dalam penerapanya, serta bagaimana dampak  penerapan Big Data terhadap privasi konsumen. Metode riset menggunakan kajian literatur dengan pendekatan konseptual-tradisional. Data primer adalah jurnal-jurnal yang sudah dipublikasikan terkait dengan topik yang penulis kaji dan beberapa pemberitaan yang bersumber dari media sosial. Kesimpulan pemanfaatan Big Data di Indonesia sudah mulai tumbuh baik di sektor bisnis maupun di sektor publik. Tantangan yang ada saat ini lebih pada bagaimana perusahaan mengoptimalkan data yang dimiliki, dan terkai dengan pelanggaran privasi perlu adanya kepastian hukum dan pemahaman terkait etika dalam penggunaan teknologi informasi.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the attitude toward the behavior (ATB) of using the tray set green product to the intention of using the tray-set green product, to analyze the relationship between the subjective norms (SN) to the intention of using the tray-set green product, to analyze the relationship between the perceived behavioral control (PBC) to the intention of using the tray-set green product, to analyze the consumers’ attitudes toward the preferences of the desired attributes of the tray-set green product and to formulate the managerial implications which can be applied by PT Garuda Indonesia.  The data collection was conducted in July – August 2012. Data was collected from 200 respondents who had used the services of PT Garuda Indonesia. Descriptive, Konjoint, and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to analyze the relationship between ATB, SN and PBC to the interest of using tray-set green product. The result of the study indicated that the attitude Toward Behavior, Subjective norms, perceive behavioral control had significant value to the interest. The attributive preferences desired from the tray-set green product are stronger materials, eco-friendly packaging and interesting shapes. The result of this study recommended that to improve the marketing mix strategies to enhance the passengers’ interest in using tray-set green product.

Abstract

This research was conducted to measure the Influence Workload and Working Environment on Employee Job Performance with Job Satisfaction as an intervening variable in PT . Sarijasa Transutama Jakarta warehouse. The sample studied totaled 68 respondents. This study uses qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis. Testing is done with the system simultaneously and partially. The analysis showed that the work load significantly influence employee performance, the working environment have a significant effect on employee performance, workload and working environment together - each has a significant influence on employee performance, intervention job satisfaction may mediate the effect of workload on achievement work, job satisfaction interventions may mediate the effect of the work environment on work performance.
