Abstract

Abstract Arabic language is characterized by the diversity of expression methods, and has characteristics and advantages that must be taken into account, as it is a multi-system that differs according to the location of the sentence, the form and the event. Grammar methods are a pivotal part of learning Arabic, especially in speaking skill, as Arabic conversations are full of stylistic contexts in which we employ these methods that, if we know them, we know the entire language. The researcher of this research aims to: (1) identify the intersections between Hijaz dialect and al-Fusha (2) explore how to gain benefits from the intersections in teaching grammatical methods when teaching the skill of speaking. The researchers followed the descriptive analytical approach. The sources of data that the researchers relied upon were books, documents, journals and scientific dissertations, research papers, and Arabic dictionaries and the interview. The most important results of the research were:(1)The grammatical methods came in the same way with the Hijaz dialect and al-fusha, with some difference in controlling the structure and the syntactic movement.(2)The use of the Hijaz dialect in teaching these methods to approximate the classical Arabic appears possible in light of the intersections between them, especially for non-speakers who lived with Arabs and bring benefit within the limits of clarifying the function that the method performs within the verbal context, and represents a functional trend in teaching Standard Arabic, because it depends on the function that the method performs in not controlling the syntactic form. Abstract

Abstract The aim of this study is to compare the structures of Arabic and Korean sentences in a simple way. The researcher uses a qualitative descriptive method and the type of research is literature review, data collection from primary and secondary data sources. For data analysis, there are two method according to C.C.Fries, namely: 1) descriptive analysis which exposures of the structure between two languages, 2) contrastive analysis which compares the structures of Arabic and Korean sentences to find out the differences, similarities, predictions of learning difficulties in the classroom, selection of methods and subject matter. The result show that there are differences especially in alphabets and the order of sentences .The Korean letters is 40, while Arabic 28,with both having special shapes. It seems that Arabic is flexible, allowing verbs and nouns at beginning of sentences. On the other hand, Korean is fixed, putting the verb after subject and object, because it always puts the noun first in the sentences. Abstract

Abtract Grammar plays a very important role in Arabic. It will help learners understand Arabic well and make others understand what we say. One of the Arab rules is Al-Ibdal. Many learners find it difficult to recognize the changing words because they do not know the origin of the changing letters. It is not only found in the Quran but also in Balaghah, Sharaf and other Arabic sciences. This research discusses Al-Ibdal, its language and terminology definitions, its letters, its benefits, its rules, and its divisions. This research is a Library Research, and data sources were derived from different books and journals. Then an understanding and analysis of these sources were carried out. The result is that Al-Ibdal is to create a character in place of a character while retaining the rest of the word characters. It has nine characters. One of the benefits of Al-Ibdal is that it avoids the wrong literature in understanding literary texts. It has many rules in general divided into ibdal sharfi or ibdal mutharrad and ibdal lughawi or ibdal ghairu mutharrad. Keywords : Ibdal, Arabic, Sharaf, Isytiqaq

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to explore more deeply about the pedagogical competence of Arabic language lecturers at Islamic University. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with case study type of research. For data collection, the researcher used three data collection techniques, namely: (1) observation, (2) in-depth interview, and (3) documentation study. The results of this study lead to a conclusion that the pedagogical competencies of Arabic language lecturers are: firstly, the ability to understand the characteristics of students. The strategies are: (1) introduction at the beginning of the lecture, (2) daily in-depth observations, and (3) placement tests (ikhtibār al-tashnīf). This understanding of student characteristics helps lecturers in optimizing the achievement of learning objectives, planning, implementing and evaluating learning. Secondly, the ability to utilize technology in learning. Two of the technology-based infrastructure used by lecturers are the Arabic Language Laboratory and the Computer and Multimedia Laboratory. In addition, lecturers also utilize technology in the form of social media as an alternative media in learning Arabic, namely: (1) Instagram, (2) Youtube, (3) Facebook, (4) Zoom Cloud Meeting, and (5) WhatsApp Group. The benefits of utilizing technology for learning Arabic are : assisting and simplifying the learning process, making learning more flexible both in terms of time and place, making students think creatively, growing self-confidence for students, assisting to improve the four language skills, and making students able to wisely utilize technology, especially technology in the form of social media. Researchers hope that with this research, Arabic language lecturers can understand better the characteristics of their students and can utilize technology in learning, including alternative media in learning Arabic, that is technology in the form of social media. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to reveal Habib Hasan Baharun's experiments in developing speaking skills from the perspective of linguistic theory and educational psychology. This study uses qualitative approach with historical methods. The data of this study were obtained from interviews, observation and documentation, and were validated using data triangulation techniques. This research resulted in the findings of his experiments in developing speaking skills from the perspective of linguistic theory and educational psychology. In educational psychology theory, two theoretical schools, behaviorism theory and cognitive theory, are in accordance with his experiments. The theories of behaviorism are connectionism theory, classical conditioning theory, and the law of contiguity while the cognitive theories are generative theory, which is every human being has the ability to learn language which was originally obtained from birth. Thus in the language environment he gives full freedom to his students to carry out language activities. In linguistic theory, two streams of theory, structural theory and transformative generative theory, are in accordance with his experiments. The structural theories state "The origin of language is speech, and Language skills are acquired from habits supported by practice and reinforcement." while the transformational generative theories state "language skills are a process of creativity". Keywords: experiment, speaking skill, linguistic theory, educational psychology theory
