Abstract

This study extends previous research on dividend policy and funding decisions. Previous studies have focused on dividend policy or funding decisions alone,to determine the factors that influences.This study aims to determine the mutual influence between dividend payout and capital growth. The authors would like to exame that there are similarities between the factors that affect the distribution of dividends and capital growth include profitability,agency cost,and retained earnings. In this research,the sample comprises of 72 active stocks listed and traded in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the periode of 2011-2015. The test results demonstrate the usefulness of the model testing using indicators overall goodness of fit to meet the criteria recomended level of fitness. By using the non-statistical measure such absolute goodness of fit and parsimony goodness of fit value exceeds recomended levels, it has indicated a good fit between the data with the model proposed research.Key words: Dividend Payout, Capital Growth, Profitability, Agency Cost, Retained Earning.

Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of demographic factors and organizational climate on the intention of internal whistleblowing. The sample was an accountant who had worked as an auditor. Data collection methods using questionnaires with financial statement fraud case scenarios. This research use ANOVA data analysis method to examine demographic factors include age, gender, and experience, as well as organizational climate on the intention of internal whistleblowing. The results showed only the experience of demographic factors that influence internal whistleblowing. Besides internal whistlelowing also influenced by organizational climate in the company.Keyword: Demographics, Organizational Climate, Whistleblowing

Abstract

Bank Sharia X, located in certain city in the province of central Java, is one of branches of Bank Muamalat Indonesia. As the name implies, Bank Sharia X operates its business based on Islamic rules (Al-Qur’an and Al-Hadist). In interpreting the Al-Qur’an and Al-Hadist, Islamic scholars have different opinions on requirements of some specific topics, such as those on mudharaba transaction. Among the great schools of thoughts are Syafi’iya, Malikiya, Hanafiya, and Hanabila. We aim to identify whether or not Bank Sharia Xfully applies its mudharaba transaction based on Syafi’iya’sschool of thought. We collect data by interviewing key persons of the bank and investigating important, corroborating documents out there. We analyze the data by comparing between the application of mudharaba transaction and the Shafee’s school of thought on the themudharaba transaction. Based on our analysis, we find that Bank Sharia X applies its mudharabatransaction based on the requirements of Shafee’s thought except on (a) ijab and qabul, and (b) time limitation.Keyword: Mudharaba Transactions, Shafi’iya’s School of Thought

Abstract

Education industry has been the subject of interest in the study, because the modern market today all companies and institutions are required to develop capacity and provide a flexible reaction to survive and develop capabilities advantage in the markets they serve. By understanding the variables of service quality and loyalty of students, not only can help educational organizations in managing its resources optimally as possible, but even more important is to maintain life so as to keep education, as well as building long-term relationships with their students.This study aims to determine the effect of variable HEdPERF (non-academics, academic, reputation, access, and programs offered) the loyalty of the students. The method used in the analysis of Multiple Linear Regression terms to meet Classical Assumption Test to test the hypothesis put forward. Based on the analysis and discussion of the five variables found that HEdPERF only three variables, namely the non-academic, reputation, and at that partially have an influence on student loyalty. While academic and access variables no significant effect on student loyalty. In addition, HEdPERF variables simultaneously affect the loyalty of students amounted to 23.9%, while the remaining 76.1% are other factors beyond the variables HEdPERF. The strong relationship HEdPERF variable loyalty for 52.8% of students can be quite strong. While HEdPERF variables that have most dominant influence on student loyalty program offered is a variable that is by by 8.22%.Keywords: HEdPERF, Loyalty Students, Regression, Classical Assumption Test.

Abstract

The Impact of monetary Policy on Ouput is an ambiguous. The results of previous empirical studies indicate that the impact can be a positive or negative relationship. The purpose of this study is to investigate the impact of monetary policy on Output more detail. The variables to estimatate monetery poicy are used state and board interest rate andrate. This research is conducted by Ordinary Least Square or Instrumental Variabel, method for 5 countries ASEAN. The state data are estimated for the period of 1980 – 2014. Abstract

The reseach of this study to analysing of credibility effect (attractiveness, trusworthiness and expertise) and different analysing national endorser nor international endorser to consumer purchase intention. This reseach using the student respondent of several university in Yogyakarta city. The valid sample are 277 respondent. The result of study using multiple linear regression showed that trusworthiness expertise of national endorser celebrity significant effect on consumer purchase intention on Luwak White Koffie product. But attractiveness of celebrity national endoser no significant effect on consumer purchase intention on Luwak White Koffie product. The result used independent sample t-test showed national endoser celebrity more trusworthy and more capable advertised product compare with international endoser celebrity. It is just, international endoser celebrity attractiveness more of consumer compare national endoser celebrity. Abstract

Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui kualitas layanan di Sekretariat DPRD Kabupaten Magelang dan strategi untuk meningkatkan kualitas layanan di Sekretariat DPRD. Obyek dari penelitian ini adalah 50 Anggota DPRD, Lokasi di Sekretariat DPRD Kabupaten Magelang, Waktu penelitian bulan Februari s.d April 2012. Adapun metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif, untuk menggambarkan secara sistematis, factual dan akurat tentang layanan di Sekretariat DPRD Kabupaten Magelang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa indikator tangible, responsiveness, dan empathy telah dapat memberikan kepuasan, sedangkan indikator reliability dan assurance belum dapat memberikan kepuasan. Secara keseluruhan (berdasarkan lima dimensi) Sekretariat DPRD Kabupaten Magelang telah memberikan kepuasan kepada Anggota DPRD, hal tersebut berarti kualitas layanan di Sekretariat DPRD sudah baik, walaupun ada beberapa faktor yang perlu ditingkatkan. Adapun strategi untuk peningkatan kualitas layanan diantaranya adalah : Menempatkan pegawai sesuai dengan kemampuan atau kompetensi sehingga mampu menjalankan pekerjaan sesuai uraian tugas pokok dan fungsinya, Mengupayakan peningkatan Sumber Daya Manusia yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pegawai agar lebih bermanfaat dan dapat menunjang aktivitasnya, serta memanfaatkan anggaran yang tersedia secara optimal dan merencanakan kebutuhan anggaran untuk masa yang akan datang guna mencukupi kurangnya sarana dan prasarana kantor penunjang kegiatan pelayanan.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengkaji dan memahami tentang pelaksanaan program pendidikan dan pelatihan, memberikan informasi tentang kendala-kendala yang dialami dalam pelaksanaan program pendidikan dan pelatihan, mengkaji dan memberikan informasi upayaupaya ditempuh untuk mengatasi kendala pelaksanaan program pendidikan dan pelatihan di Badan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.Penelitian ini dilakukan di Badan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan adanya kendala-kendala dalam pelaksanaan Program Pendidikan dan Pelatihan di Badan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta yaitu : kurang optimalnya dukungan internal (SDM, Widyaiswara, sarana prasarana, modul/kurikulum) Badan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta dalam penyelenggaraan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan serta sinkronisasi dan koordinasi lintas sektor yang belum sesuai dalam pelaksanaan dan pasca diklat. Sedang upaya-upaya dalam mengatasi kendala kendala adalah : menyelenggarakan Forum Komunikasi Kediklatan dengan SKPD-SKPD baik Provinsi maupun Kabupaten / Kota, menyelenggarakan kegiatan workshop/semiloka agar komitmen terhadap peningkatan kompetensi PNS dilingkungannya, menginformasikan secara intensif tentang penyelenggaraan diklat kepada SKPD-SKPD, melaksanakan perencanaan sesuai dengan Analisa Kebutuhan Diklat (AKD), mengembangkan Jaringan Widyaiswara se DIY dengan Perguruan Tinggi dan praktisi. Secara skematis Evaluasi Program Diklat di Badan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta digambarkan dalam Matriks SWOT-Klasik dan dapat dihasilkan rekomendasi dalam upaya peningkatan dan pengembangan pendidkan dan pelatihan lebih lanjut untuk masa yang akan datang, sebagai berikut : Penyelenggaraan diklat mulai dari pra diklat, in diklat sampai pada pasca diklat sebaiknya diselenggarakan oleh Badan Pendidikan dan Pelatihan Provinsi Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta secara keseluruhan, evaluasi penyelenggaraan selain dengan bentuk blanko sebaiknya disertai dengan tatap muka secara langsung dengan peserta Pendidikan dan Pelatihan diakhir kegiatan, prasarana yang belum memadai sebaiknya segera dilengkapi, perlu upaya pemberian kesempatan bagi pegawai untuk meneruskan tingkat pendidikannya, terutama pendidikan formal umum dan kedinasan, perlu lebih banyak mengirimkan Widyaiswara untuk pendidikan dan pelatihan TOT pelajaran sehingga Widyaiswara mempunyai spesialisasi dan perlu menyelenggarakan/mengirimkan pendidikan dan pelatihan TOC dan MOT untuk staf Badan Diklat.

Abstract

This study was conducted based on the facts about the lack of maximal outcomes of learning English in almost all levels of education, especially in vocational school. Although English has been studied for many years, but the majority of students can not master English well, especially speaking. Many factors cause this phenomenon, and all parties should concern to work together to formulatebetter system and process of English learning at vocational school.The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Pacitan, by taking the students of class XII as subjects research. The sample of this research consists of 94 students of Business Travel and Tourism,Network Computer Engineering, and Engineering Software classes. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. It is used to describe the students’ speaking competence, particularlyin presenting final task report. This research also identifies the internal and external functions to formulate a strategy to improve the students’s speaking competence. The results showed that based on the analysis of English speaking competency of SMK Negeri 1 Pacitan students, it can be concluded as follows: a). Based on the students absorption analysis of presenting final project report, shows that English competency level of students is in the category of “pretty”, with evidence of the studentsvalue average in presenting final project report is more than the passing grade value (7.50),it is 79.5. While the number of student, who passed the presentation test,is 66 students.So it can be obtained the percentage level of mastery learning students on the presentation test of final report is only 70.21%, and it is categorized “less”, because the percentage of students who passed this exam is still under 75%. b). While the analysis of the questionnaire can be scribed that the average overall score of 3.44 speaking competence components are categorized “pretty”, and it can be concluded that the level of competence of English speaking students generally categorized “enough”. Based on the level ofstudents’ English speaking competence , it can be formulated the strategies to increase its competence. They are: a). Maximizing the use of English as a language instruction and reducing the use of Indonesian, especially in the learning process, to improve English language competency, so that students can have the ability to explain the sequence of events and the students can pass the exam well. b). Having more English presentation activitiesin other topics to encourage the students’ bravery and self-confidence in speaking English, so that students have good Englishcompetence as preparation to getjobs or to continue their study at university.c). Having more exercise of using body language to improve the mastery of speech, and smooth attitude, so that students have good English competence,and they are able to compete in the global world in obtaining employment. d). And maximizing the use of school’s facilities by using various methods of learning, and focusing on the students’ center method to improve the studentsEnglish competency so that they are able to compete for educational scholarships in this country and abroad.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap kualitas pelayanan PT. Solo Central Taxi, (2) Mengetahui pengaruh motivasi terhadap kualitas pelayanan PT. Solo Central Taxi, (3) Mengetahui pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kualitas pelayanan PT. Solo Central Taxi, dan (4) Mengetahui pengaruh kepuasan kerja, motivasi dan budaya organisasi terhadap kualitas pelayanan PT. Solo Central Taxi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai PT. Solo Central Taxi. Sampel diambil sebanyak 90 orang dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling.Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan metode kuisioner. Teknik analisa data dengan menggunakan Analisa regresi berganda. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Secara keseluruahan variabel yang diuji yaitu kepuasan kerja, motivasi, budaya organisasi dan kualitas pelayanan pegawai yang dipersepsikan responden atau pegawai PT. Solo Central Taxi dapat dikatakan “sedang”. Artinya kepuasan kerja, motivasi dan budaya organisasi dipersepsikan mampu membawa dampak bagi kualitas pelayanan ini ditunjukkan oleh sebagian besar responden yang menyatakan pendapat setuju atau sangat setuju, (2) Variabel kepuasan kerja memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel kualitas pelayanan, hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa kepuasan kerja dapat membawa dampak yang positif artinya semakin tinggi kepuasan kerja yang dirasakan oleh pegawai maka kualitas pelayanan pegawai akan semakin tinggi pula, (3) Variabel motivasi memberikan pengaruh yang paling kuat positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel kualitas pelayanan, hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa motivasi dapat membawa dampak yang positif artinya semakin tinggi motivasi pegawai dalam bekerja maka kualitas pelayanan pegawai akan semakin tinggi pula, dan (4) Variabel budaya organisasi memberikan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap variabel kualitas pelayanan, hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa budaya organisasi pada perusahaan tersebut dapat membawa dampak yang positif artinya semakin baik budaya organisasi pegawai aatau dapt diterimanya budaya organisasi oleh pegawai maka kualitas pelayanan pegawai akan semakin tinggi pula.
