Alkitab sebagai Firman Allah merupakan sebuah kredo yang tak terbantahkan di dalam kekristenan.  Salah satu implikasi dari keyakinan tersebut adalah munculnya doktrin kecukupan Alkitab.  Alkitab dinyatakan cukup untuk mengajarkan manusia menuju kepada keselamatan dan ketaatan yang penuh kepada Allah.  Namun bagaimanakah kecukupan Alkitab ini didefinisikan dan diberikan batasan, sebab nampaknya tidak mungkin berteologi tanpa alat bantu apapun.  Salah satu alat bantu berteologi yang menarik perhatian penulis adalah tradisi gereja sebab seringkali dipertentangkan antara tradisi dan doktrin kecukupan Alkitab.  Akan tetapi benarkah keduanya harus dipertentangkan?  Tulisan ini menjawab pertanyaan harmonisasi doktrin kecukupan Alkitab dengan tradisi gereja.  Penulis berargumentasi bahwa doktrin kecukupan Alkitab tidak pernah meniadakan tradisi gereja.  Tradisi gereja yang mutlak harus dipakai di dalam berteologi secara Kristen adalah Rule of Faith, sebagai rangkuman dari iman kristiani yang sudah ada sejak gereja mula-mula.  Tradisi gereja lainnya perlu dievaluasi terlebih dahulu penggunaannya di dalam berteologi. Kata kunci: kecukupan Alkitab, sola scriptura, tradisi, Rule of Faith, harmonisasi   English: Scripture as the Word of God is an undeniable creed in christianity.  One of many implication from this believe is the doctrine of the sufficiency of scripture.  Scripture deemed sufficient enough to teach man toward salvation and full obedience unto God.  Nevertheless how sufficiency of scripture is defined and confined, because it seems impossible to theologize without any supplements.  One of those supplements that interest me is church tradition because people tend to contrast church tradition and doctrine of the sufficiency of scripture.  However, shall two of them be contrasted?  This writings will answer harmonization between doctrine of sufficiency of scripture and church tradition.  I argue that doctrine of sufficiency of scripture never nulify church tradition.  The absolute church tradition that use in theologizing as a christian is Rule of Faith, as a summary of christian faith since early church.  Another church traditions need to be evaluated whenever they are used in theologizing. Arminius, Arminian, dan Kaum Injili: Sebuah Klarifikasi Lahope, Marlon

Tulisan ini akan memberikan klarifikasi terhadap tuduhan-tuduhan palsu yang sering dilontarkan sebagian besar kaum Calvinis kepada kaum Arminian dan kemudian mendiskusikan alasan utama kaum Arminian menolak ajaran Calvinisme.  Klarifikasi ini akan difokuskan pada dua tuduhan yang sering menjadi kartu favorit, yakni Arminianisme menolak konsep kerusakan total dan mengajarkan manusia sebagai penentu keselamatannya.  Jawaban terhadap tuduhan ini sederhana, kedua tuduhan ini adalah hasil dari pembacaan yang keliru atau representasi yang cacat terhadap teologi Arminian.  Setelah itu, penulis akan mendiskusikan alasan utama penolakan kaum Arminian terhadap ajaran Calvinisme, yakni konsep kedaulatan Allah Calvinisme membawa logika kepada konsekuensi yang sulit dihindari bahwa Allah adalah sumber dari segala dosa.  Di sisi yang lain, tulisan ini tidak dimaksudkan untuk melebarkan jurang pemisah dalam tubuh kaum Injili.  Sebaliknya, kaum Injili harus melihat perbedaan sebagai keragaman dalam tubuh Kristus daripada menjadikannya sebagai pemicu keterpecahan.  Di tengah perbedaan yang ada, injil haruslah menjadi prioritas utama dan bukan perdebatan-perdebatan minor yang akhirnya hanya menghambat pemberitaan injil Yesus Kristus.      Kata-kata Kunci:  Arminian(isme), Calvinis(isme), Kerusakan Total, Keselamatan karena Anugerah, Kedaulatan Allah, Injili    English : This paper will provide clarification of the false accusations that most Calvinists often make to the Arminians and then discuss the main reasons Arminians reject the teachings of Calvinism. This clarification will focus on two accusations that are often favorite cards, namely Arminianism rejects the concept of total depravity and teaches that human as a determinant factor of their salvation. The answer to these accusations is simple, these two accusations are the result of a false reading or defective representation of Arminian theology. After that, the author will discuss the main reason why the Arminians reject the teachings of Calvinism, namely the concept of God's sovereignty in Calvinism brings logic to the inevitable consequences that God is the source of all sins. On the other hand, this paper is not intended to widen the gap in the body of the evangelical. Conversely, evangelicals must see the differences as diversity in the body of Christ rather than making it a trigger for division. In the midst of differences, the gospel must be a top priority and not minor debates which ultimately only hinder the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Hermeneutika Peleburan Dua Horizon Anthony Thiselton dan Tantangan dari Antropologi Lintas Budaya Mamahit, Ferry Yefta

Masalah klasik dalam hermeneutika alkitabiah adalah bagaimana menjembatani kesenjangan antara teks Alkitab yang berkonteks budaya kuno dan pembacanya yang berkonteks budaya modern. Salah satu pendekatan yang diajukan untuk mengatasi persoalan tersebut adalah model peleburan horizon-horizon (the fusions of horizons), yang kemudian dikembangkan oleh Anthony Thiselton dengan peleburan dua horizonnya (the fusions of two horizons). Meski pendekatan hermeneutis yang dilakukan oleh Thiselton sangat komprehensif dan serius dalam menjembatani kesenjangan ini, pendekatan konteks berkultur tunggalnya (baca: budaya Barat) ini belum dapat menjawab tantangan dari antropologi lintas-budaya, khususnya kompleksitas konteks budaya pembaca modern yang berkarakter beragam, berlapis dan bersilang. Jadi, pendekatan ini perlu mempertimbangkan pendekatan hermeneutis yang lebih sensitif terhadap kompleksitas tersebut sebagai tambahan atau pelengkap pendekatan peleburan horizon-horizon (addenda hermeneutica).            Kata-kata Kunci: Anthony Thiselton, hermeneutika alkitabiah, peleburan-peleburan horizon, kompleksitas konteks budaya, hermeneutika kontekstual   English : The classic problem in biblical hermeneutics is how to bridge the gap between the ancient cultural context of the biblical texts and the modern cultural context of the reader. One of the approaches proposed to deal with this issue is the model of the fusion of horizons that is later on developed by Anthony Thiselton with his fusions of two horizons. Albeit comprehensive and severe in bridging the gap, his mono-cultural (Western) approach to the context has not yet answered the challenge from cross-cultural anthropology, especially the complexity of the culture of the modern reader characterized by varied, multi-layered and cross-culturally. The approach thus needs to consider a hermeneutical approach that is more sensitive to that complexity as addition into or compliment to the fusions of horizons approach (addenda hermeneutica).    Keywords: Anthony Thiselton, biblical hermeneutics, the fusions of horizons, the complexity of cultural context, contextual hermeneutics

Korelasi Konsep Kerajaan Allah dan Pemuridan dalam Injil Matius bagi Pemuridan Masa Kini Wisantoso, Sandra

Di dalam gereja/persekutuan terjadi gejala banyak yang mengaku Kristen, tetapi sedikit yang mau dimuridkan. Namun, faktor penyebab utama masalah pemuridan di gereja justru berasal dari dalam Kekristenan sendiri. Ada dikotomi antara ?menjadi orang percaya? dan ?menjadi murid? yang mengakibatkan orang-orang Kristen tidak lagi menjadikan Kristus sebagai Tuhan dan Raja yang harus disembah dan ditinggikan di dalam seantero kehidupan mereka. Akibatnya, pemuridan hanya menjadi sekadar program yang mentradisi dan tidak lagi menolong orang percaya bertumbuh menjadi murid Kristus yang hidup serupa dengan-Nya. Solusi bagi permasalahan pemuridan ini terletak pada strategi pemuridan yang Yesus kerjakan, yaitu di dalam kerangka atau dimensi Kerajaan Allah. Kerajaan Allah dan Pemuridan merupakan dua topik besar dan signifikan di dalam Injil Matius. Korelasi antara konsep Kerajaan Allah dengan pemuridan dalam Injil Matius adalah pemuridan merupakan sebuah proses untuk membawa semua orang menjadi murid Yesus, yaitu warga Kerajaan Allah, yang tunduk di bawah pemerintahan Allah dan taat melakukan kehendak-Nya. Korelasi inilah yang dapat menjadi jawaban bagi permasalahan pemuridan yang terjadi di dalam gereja/persekutuan pada saat ini Kata-kata kunci: Kerajaan Allah, Pemuridan, Murid, Injil Matius   English:Abstract: In the church or fellowship there are symptoms of many people claiming to be Christians, but few want to be discipled. However, the main contributing factor to the problem of discipleship in the church comes from within Christianity itself. There is a dichotomy between ?being a believer? and ?being a disciple? that causes Christians to no longer make Christ as Lord and King who must be worshiped and exalted throughout their lives. As a result, discipleship only becomes program and tradition but no longer helps believers grow into disciples of Christ who live like Him. The solution to the problem of discipleship lies in the discipleship strategy that Jesus worked on, namely within the framework or dimensions of God?s Kingdom. The kingdom of God and discipleship are two big and significant topics in the Gospel of Matthew. The correlation between the concept of the kingdom of God and discipleship in the Gospel of Matthew is discipleship as a process to bring all people into disciples of Jesus, the citizens of the kingdom of God, who are subject to God?s rule and obedient to do His will. This correlation can be the answer to the problem of discipleship that is happening in the church or fellowship at this time. Hubungan Antara Kelekatan kepada Orang Tua dan Dukungan Iman Orang Tua dengan Religiositas Remaja Dewi, Enny; Mamahit, Aileen P.; Tanudjaja, Rahmiati

Peran orang tua dalam religiositas remaja sangat penting.  Remaja menghadapi banyak tantangan dalam masa pubertas dengan berbagai perkembangan yang cukup kompleks meliputi aspek kognitif, afektif, moral, sosial, dan iman.  Peran orang tua dibutuhkan untuk menolong mereka melewati masa ini sehingga mampu mencapai individuasi, termasuk untuk menentukan identitas imannya.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat apakah terdapat hubungan antara kelekatan dan dukungan iman orang tua dengan religiositas 247 remaja berusia 13-18 tahun yang beribadah di kebaktian remaja di lima jemaat Gereja Kristen Abdiel Gloria di Surabaya. Penelitian kuantitatif ini menggunakan Spearman Rank Correlation untuk analisis data dari tiga kuesioner yaitu Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment (IPPA), Perceived Faith Support from Parents and Friends (PFS-P dan PFS-F), dan Intrinsic/Extrinsic-Revised Scale. Hasil penelitian menunjukan korelasi yang signifikan dan positif antara variabel-variabel yang diuji.  Semakin tinggi kelekatan kepada orang tua, maka semakin tinggi religiositas remaja; dan semakin tinggi dukungan iman orang tua, maka semakin tinggi religiositas remaja.   English Abstract: The role of parents in adolescent religiosity is exceptionally important. Adolescent overcome many challenges in puberty with a variety of developments that are quite complex, including aspects such as cognitive, affective, moral, social, and faith. The role of parents is needed to assist them overcoming this period in order to reach individuation and determine identity of their faith. This study aims to analyze the correlation between attachment and parental faith support to the religiosity of 247 adolescent, aged 13-18 years, who attend youth services in five congregations of Gereja Kristen Abdiel Gloria in Surabaya. This quantitative study was conducted through Spearman Rank Correlation for data analysis from three questionnaires, namely Inventory of Parent and Peer Attachment (IPPA), Perceived Faith Support from Parents and Friends (PFS-P and PFS-F), and Intrinsic/Extrinsic Revised Scale. The research results show that there is a positive and significant relationship between the variables. Higher attachment to parent relates positively to higher religiosity of adolescent. Higher parental faith support relates positively to higher adolescent religiosity and vice versa. Keywords: Attachment, Faith Support, Religiosity, Adolescent
