Abstract

This study aims to determine the involvement and role of ulama in preventing early-age marriage in West Nusa Tenggara. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the type of library research. Data collection techniques using the literature review through various references related to research. The results of the research through a literature review are looking at government programs such as those related to early-age marriage, then the stakeholders involved are not enough from government agencies only. It’s also important the involvement and role of ulama as role models for the community in suppressing cases of early-age marriage through da'wah communication activities and forming special guidance and assistance programs for parents and adolescents regarding the negative impacts on early-age marriage.

Abstract

Intercultural communication will occur if there is communication between each other who has different backgrounds. When someone has a different culture and background, it is possible that the barriers to communication will increase. Likewise, what was experienced by Pattani students who were studying at the Raden Intan State Islamic University Lampung, when there was communication with local students who had various cultures, of course, they encountered many obstacles. Communicators who are involved in the interaction certainly want effective communication between each other. Therefore, Pattani students are required to be able to adapt and acculturate the existing culture to reduce uncertainty. Qualitative descriptive is the type of research used in this scientific work. Based on the data seen in the field, a common thread can be drawn, that Pattani (Thailand) students have 2 ways of interacting, namely: verbal and nonverbal communication.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the strategies used and implemented by Central Aceh Tourism Office in promoting the regional tourism industry to local and foreign tourists. This research also look at how by Dinas Pariwisata Aceh Tengah in promotion of local tourism industry to domestic and foreign tourists. The research also looks at how Central Aceh Tourism Office conducts tourism marketing communications by implementing the stages of the communication strategy. This research use descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques using interviews and participatory observation. Determination of informants is done on pruposive sampling technique. Indormants used as primary data sources in this study were representatives from the Central Aceh Tourism Office and the tourist they met in the tourism location. The result showed that Central Aceh Tourism Office was not maximal in carrying out tourism marketing communications.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study that examines the development of Postgraduate Study Programs as well as to revitalize and to determine perceptions of study program work opportunities. Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Postgraduate at UIN Ar-Raniry, the alumni to become practitioners of political communication in various fields of the world of work, both government and private lines, are the study program of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting (KPI). To make it even simpler, the researcher made only two problem formulations; How to revitalize job opportunities for study program postgraduate students. Postgraduate Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Becomes a Political Communication Practitioner for the 2016/2018 class. And how is the process and influence of perceptions of interest in job opportunities into political communication on interest in choosing postgraduate Islamic communication and broadcasting study programs at UIN Ar-Raniry Banda Aceh. In this study, researchers used a data collection technique using a tracer study because this technique was not only useful for the internal Postgraduate Study Program of Islamic Communication and Broadcasting, Ar-Raniry State Islamic University, but also became a bridge between the Postgraduate and stakeholders. Tracer studies. Tracer Study to be able to measure and track the performance and suggestions of graduates and graduate users so that clear indicators can be obtained about the number, future job profiles, and competencies required by the world of work

Abstract

This study aims to see the effectiveness of the role of the Special Job Fair at SMK SMTI Banda Aceh in enhancing graduates employability to the Business/Industry World. This study uses a qualitative method by conducting interviews with the Industrial Relations Team and Alumni of SMK SMTI Banda Aceh and the Special Job Exchange Unit of SMK SMTI Banda Aceh with a focus on graduate data from 2016 to 2021 which includes the total number of graduates and the number of graduates working in The Business/Industry World, the graduates who are entrepreneurs, and the graduates who continue their education. The results showed that the role of the Special Job Fair SMK SMTI Banda Aceh in marketing graduates to The Business and Industrial was effective. This can be seen from the number of graduates who work and are being an entrepreneur,is increasing every year except for 2021. In 2021, there is a decrease in the number of graduates who work due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation. Many Special Job Fair program activities cannot be implemented due to efforts to overcome the covid-19 pandemic which has an impact on the distribution of graduates to The Business/Industry World.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the communication strategy carried out by the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency in disseminating messages about digitizing promotion services within the Pidie Jaya Regency Government. The research uses a qualitative research approach with case study methods to analyze problems related to communication strategies formulated by organizations. The research results indicate that the communicators chosen to convey messages to the target audience have credibility, the message has been designed in such a way, the channel used is a personal channel face-to-face through technical guidance and consultation and by using the media but the media utilization is still not optimal and unable to reach the overall target audience. The communicant is all civil servants in the Pidie Jaya Regency Government and the effects are limited to changes in knowledge and changes in attitudes. Obstacles in delivering messages are found both in the communicator and the communicant, namely barriers in the delivery process (process barriers), semantic barriers (semantics barriers), and psycho-social barriers (psychosocial barriers) caused by the culture that is already attached to the audience, communicators and communicants are trying to overcome these various obstacles by using personal communication channels both face-to-face and through the media.

Abstract

Infotuban uses social media Instagram as a means to share various information. With the number of 100,000 follower accounts, the involvement of followers of the @info_tuban account is still lacking. The purpose of this study is to find out how the management of social media content on Instagram @info_tuban includes the share, optimize, manage, and engage. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research type. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and literature study. The informant determination technique used in this research is purposive sampling technique. This study uses two sources of data, namely primary data obtained from observations and interviews and secondary data obtained through books, internet, literature. The results show that in the share stage @info_tuban uses Instagram as a means of delivering effective and communicative information to build public trust. At the optimize stage, to find out what the public is talking about @info_tuban using the manual method, namely through the Instagram story and hashtag features. In the manage stage , @info_tuban has carried out several activities. However, at this stage @info_tuban does not use social media tools. The last stage engage, @info_tuban has collaborated with people who have influence. To reach the target audience, it is done by regularly posting content.

Abstract

The lifestyle of modern society is not free of the name mass media as its properties grow and become its own phenomenon in the communication process, one of the most widely used mass media nowadays is television. In semiotics studies it views social phenomena in society and culture as signs, semiotics study systems, rules, and conventions that enable such signs to have meaning. As a method of analysis, there are some approaches that can be used for semiotics analysis. To examine the advertisements for human cosmetics in the study, the data analysis used is a semiotics analysis of Charles sanders peirce with the sense triangle theory that it claims. Peirce sees the sign (representation) as part of the object's reference is seita the subject's understanding of the sign. The study is used to learn about beauty analysis in more in-depth cosmetic ads. The data used in this study is not statistical data but descriptive, in words, not Numbers.

Abstract

This paper purposes to examine the principles and implementation of contemporary advertising in an Islamic perspective. The research employs the method of literature study, by examining the perspective of Islamic advertising from various research literatures, the opinions of scholars and the Qur'an and Hadith. Based on literature review, the development of advertising is still trapped in the practice of materialistic advertising that overrides the ethics of Islamic communication. For this reason, this study formulates six advertising principles referring to the Qur'an and Hadith as well as the opinions of scholars, namely the principle of monotheism, the principle of honesty, the principle of justice, the principle of trust, the principle of education and the principle of Istiqomah/consistent. This study can be developed by referring to technological developments and the need for communication and religious research in the future.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the application of BRI customer service by utilizing news media (Instagram) to increase customer satisfaction during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research approach used in this study is a quantitative approach. This research was conducted at Bank BRI. The sampling technique of this research is random sampling. Respondents in this study were 100 people who are customers of Bank BRI. The data analysis used a structural approach to the Equation Model (SEM) assisted by the smart PLS application. The results of this study are that customer service has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction, customer service can increase engagement on social media/news media, Instagram news media has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction.
