Abstract

This study aims to determine the sexual reproduction information seeking pattern of Students in Sriwijaya University. It uses a qualitative approach based on Wilson's Model of Information Seeking Behavior that consist; passive attention, passive search, active search, and ongoing search. This research involves in-depth interviews with 12 students of Sriwijaya University. The study found that students at Sriwijaya University tend to perform a passive search pattern in seeking of sexual reproductive information. However this conditions does not apply when the students have responsibilities to fullfil, both academically and professionally, as it is known that the student with such responsibilities will perform an active and ongoing search. The study also found that Wilson's Search Information Behavior model can still be usefull. In the context of information seeking behavior of Student in Sriwijaya University, it was still influenced by psychological conditions, demographics, roles in society, environment, and characteristics of information sources. This study also identifies the motive of sexual reproduction information seeking behavior in students at Sriwijaya University.

Abstract

Sundanese is a part of local culture that contribute to the wealth of Bahasa Indonesia, as well as an identity for the Sundanese whose own the language. Preservation of its existence needs to be done in order to avoid its lost by cultural dynamic changes of society. Concerns about not using Sundanese as a communication tool emerges, as data showed the decline of Sundanese speakers and the fact that a number of Sundanese families no longer teach Sundanese to their children. To keep the identity remain to exist, the use of Sundanese in communication as a part of local culture should be continued. The role of language owners in maintaining its use is very meaningful. One of the efforts made through written works about Sundanese and/ or written in Sundanese. This paper aims to reveal the role of writers in Bandung preserve Sundanese culture through writing. This research uses qualitative-phenomenology method and data obtained through in-depth interviews with 8 informants, observation, and literature study. Informants were chosen through purposive sampling technique. The results show, preservation of Sundanese culture through Sundanese writing is driven by idealism as the language owner to maintain the Sundanese existence and still known by next generation. Writing forms and media are selected vary, according to the ability of authors to deliver it.

Abstract

Purwokerto is the capital of Banyumas Regency as a growing and developing small tow. Purwokerto has experienced population transformation in terms of both quantity and quality. Based on statistical data can be seen that the population in the city per year 2014 ranged between 292,782 people with an area of 38.58 KM². The increase of population per year is also increasing along with the number of migrant population. This is an opportunity for business people are no exception to the culinary business. Waroenk Ora Umum is one type of culinary business which is quite rapid growth in the city of Purwokerto. Along with the current milenal era, it is necessary to further explore the marketing strategy of targeted marketing communications. And digital marketing is one strategy that has enough impact to increase the number of consumer culinary business in this era. This study used qualitative research methods. Data collection is done by observation, documentation, and interview. The results show that Waroenk Ora Umum Purwokerto has utilized digital marketing strategy which is also balanced with other marketing strategies.

Abstract

Komunitas Olah Raga untuk Kaum Urban berkembang sejalan dengan kesadaran masyarakat terutama kaum urban untuk melakukan pola hidup sehat. Dengan menggunakan media sosial komunitas-komunitas olahraga mengajak semua lapisan masyarakat terutama kaum muda untuk menerapkan pola hidup sehat yakni melakukan olah raga secara teratur. Hal ini menjadi menarik, karena komunitas ini dibangun di dunia maya dengan mengandalkan koneksi internet melalui media sosial, sehingga komunitas ini dengan cepat menyebar dan diterima oleh masyarakat. Komunitas Olah raga untuk Kaum Urban yang berkembang di Bandung diantaranya Bandung Streetworkout Addict (Barstard), Freeletics Bandung dan Indorunners Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan Komunitas Barstard, Freeletics dan Indorunner Bandung dalam membangun jejaring komunikasi di media sosial dengan melihat sudut latar belakang, pengelolaan, keanggotaan, penggunaan media dan bentuk informasi yang disampaikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Deskriptif Kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan pengelola komunitas dan pengelola media sosial, observasi, studi pustaka dan penelusuran data internet. Hasil Penelitian memperlihatkan, kesadaran orang akan hidup sehat semakin tinggi. Masyarakat, khususnya kaum urban, kini menjadikan olahraga sebagai bagian dari gaya hidup mereka. Di tengah-tengah aktivitasnya yang padat, masyarakat urban tetap meluangkan waktunya khusus untuk berolahraga. Komunitas Barstard, Freeletics dan Indorunner Bandung memiliki setidaknya satu orang untuk mengelola media sosial, Instagram menjadi media sosial utama yang digunakan oleh komunitas untuk menyampaikan informasi dan membangun jejaring komunikasi.

Abstract

The development program of Child-Friendly City (KLA) in Siak Regency is a development system based on children rights through a comprehensive and sustainable integration of government, society and business world thoroughly and continuously. Implemented based on instruction from Ministry of Women and Child Empowerment (P3A), through Ministerial Regulation (Permen) Number 11 Year 2011 on the Development Policy of Child-Friendly City. The purpose of this research is to find the communication planning of local government in the implementation of the program for Child-Friendly City through prioritizing children rights in regional development, Siak regency. The method that being used for this researh is qualitative method. The research informants were chosen puposively and the data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The results of the research shows that the process of arrangement in order of Child-Friendly City policy communication planning has gone through the stages of a policy formulation. The purpose of the Child-Friendly City development program is being implemented into the vision and mission of Siak Regency development with the preparation of regional action plans. The audience that being targeted for the implementation of Child-Friendly City development is the whole society in Siak Regency either individually or in groups. Messages are designed in relation to the role of target audience related to the fulfillment of children's rights in Siak Regency development. In an effort to inform Child-Friendly City program policies, media selection takes into consideration the characteristics and objectives of the message content submitted, and the type of media owned by audiences. Program evaluation emphasizes in order for the regional apparatus to evaluate what its authority and duties are in support the Child-Friendly City program and plan according to the needs of Child-Friendly City in Siak Regency.

Abstract

Hotel industry is currently booming and Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel - Jakarta, which has been established since 1974, is facing tough competition with the arrival of hotels offering a variety of themes and more affordable prices. The image of Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel - Jakarta has been declining and public relations plays an important role in rebuilding, maintaining, and improving the hotel’s image. This research was done to understand the role of public relations in improving the image of Grand Sahid Jaya Hotel - Jakarta through the Sunrise Yoga from the Skyline event using qualitative data for the research method. This study also uses the role of public relations elements by Ruslan. The research results shows that public relation plays an important role and has fulfilled its theoretical role that was used to improve the image of Grand Sahid Jaya - Jakarta.

Abstract

This research is conducted because of the presence of mass media technology into the life of rural communities. This study aims to determine the behavior of media mass media use to audiences in rural areas in the form of intensity and context of use related to media skills.This research is a quantitative descriptive research using data collection technique through survey method / questionnaire. Population in research is permanent resident of Sekarwangi Village Garut Regency which have been aged 17 years and over, that is 3,853 people. Through random sampling, 251 respondents were obtained. The results of this study indicate that the intensity of mass media usage in rural audiences in using mass media is in level 4 that is capable and understand the purpose of use in using mass media, especially on the main mass media commonly accessed is television and radio. On internet usage, rural audiences are in level 2 that few are capable of using internet. In the context of use, the media audiences in rural areas are in level 4 that is knowing, understanding and have little ability to anticipate the negative impact on the use of mass media. But the media audiences do not yet have the skills to relay their opinions through the mass media. It can be concluded that the mass media audiences in rural areas have been able to connect their wishes, experiences, and hopes for the use and benefits received from the mass media, though not yet able to recharge their understanding of the mass media message.

Abstract

Debt. collector with Fiduciary Vehicle System Method with the term FVSM. With FVSM analysis system with fiducative vehicle control method as vehicle payment system in leasing system, as the pattern of business trust balance and fiduciary function. So the system of vehicle control method as fiducative vehicle payment system for fiduciary system guarantee as applied scope of vehicle business leasing system. The recognition of the system by the method of vehicle control fiducative for guarantees to prevent conflicts in the pattern of fiducative vehicle balance to study the system is more safely controlled on the fiduciary system conducted by the community. It analogy system with controlling method and supervision of vehicles fiducative to restore business trust system on pattern of fiduciary system which gives ease. With the FVSM system is a process of studying business communication systems on the pattern of vehicle control methods fiducative for guarantees to prevents conflicts in the pattern of vehicle fiducative balance to learn the system is more secure controlled on the security system asset business environment.
