Abstract

The aim of study is to examine the effect of Earning Assets Quality measured by Bad Debt Ratio (BDR), Capital Adequacy measured by Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Firm Size measured by Ln (total asset) to Profitability in Banking Sector Companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses causative. The population in this study are all banking sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2010 and 2014.  The sample is determined by purposive sampling to obtain 26 companies. Type of data using secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id. The analytical method used is pool regression analysis. Based  on the results of the study concluded that (1) Earning assets quality have significant negative effect on profitability (2) Capital adequacy have positive no significant effect on profitability, (3) Firm sized have negative no significant effect on profitability.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of capital structure, ethnic board of commissioners and dividend policy on Company Value in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. By taking secondary data that has been published in the 2015-2017 period. Population of 164 in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2015-2017 and 112 samples of companies using purposive sampling with a total of 336 company annual data observations. The results of this study concluded that the Capital Structure and Ethnicity of the Board of Commissioners had no effect and were not significant to the Company's Value. Dividend Policy has a positive and significant effect on Company Value. Profitability has no effect and is not significant on Company Value. This means that with the capital structure, ethnic board of commissioners and dividend policy will encourage a more optimal level of supervision of the quality of the company. The company's objectives are achieved if the company's performance is able to optimize the company's value. Especially by better managing the dividend policy because it is considered capable of increasing the value of the company which has a direct impact on the company's sustainability in the future.Keywords: Institutional ownership; tax planning; foreign board of commissioners; leverage;  the company value.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah beban kerja, lingkungan kerja dan motivasi mempunyai pengaruh terhadap kinerja pegawai Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian adalah jumlah seluruh pegawai Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan sebanyak 42 orang. Metode Penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik analisis data menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS), dan proses pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja, lingkungan kerja dan motivasi secara simultan memiliki pengaruh cukup kuat dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan sebesar 51%. Jika motivasi meningkat diikuti dengan memperhatikan beban kerja dan lingkungan kerja, maka akan meningkatkan kinerja pegawai Badan Kepegawaian Daerah Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis Pengaruh Profitabilitas dan Kebijakan Hutang terhadap Nilai Perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia tahun 2010 sampai dengan 2013.  Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 10 perusahaan Farmasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia, dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling diperoleh 9 perusahaan dalam penelitian ini. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda, uji asumsi klasik, uji-t, uji F, dan Koefisien determinan yang diolah dengan menggunakan program SPSS (Statistic Package for the Social Sciens) for windows versi 16.00. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial Profitabilitas tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan. Dan Kebijakan Hutang secara parsial tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan. serta secara simultan Profitabilitas dan Kebijakan Hutang tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Nilai Perusahaan pada Perusahaan Farmasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze (1) the influence of perceived organizational support on job satisfaction (2) the influence of perceived organizational support on employee engagement (3) the influence of perceived organizational support on job satisfaction with employee engagement as a mediating variable. The population in this research are the employees of Department of PT. West Sumatera Regional Development Bank of Padang consist of 115 employees. The samples were selected using Clustered Proportional Random Sampling which the total of the samples are 89 employees. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The data was analyzed using multiple regression analysis with mediating variable. The result of this research shows (1) perceived organizational support has a positive and significant relationship on job satisfaction (2) perceived organizational support has a positive and significant relationship on employee engagement (3) employee engagement become a mediator on the effect of perceived organizational support on job satisfaction.Keywords: Perceived organizational support; job satisfaction; employee engagement.

Abstract

This research purposes are to analyze the influece of capital structure, profitability, and likuidity to initial dividend policy on corporation which listed on Indonesian stock exchance. This research is including to causative reseach. Research sampel chosen by purposive sampling method so sample of the research is 43 corporations. The kind of data is secondary data from www.idx.co.id, www.e-bursa,com, Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD). Analysis method is double linier regresion. Hypothesis test uses t statistic test. Research finding indicate that only profitability that have positive impact and significant to initial dividend policy (dividend payout ratio).

Abstract

This study aims to present empirical evidence on the relationship of Intellectual Capital and financial performance of the share price on the banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2008-2012. The method of analysis used in this study is a quantitative method with the statistical analysis of linear regression analysis. Results of this study indicate that investors are less expensive aspects of human resources is recognized as a source of comparative advantage of the company, while taking investment decisions in the sample companies. In this study, one of the indications that cause this is the Intellectual Capital is not fully able to increase its profit is the company has not succeeded in managing knowledge so that employees can not increase the value of the company in this case is measured by the share price. Rationalization that can be given to explain this finding that stakeholders are still focused on the ability of management to manage their physical assets.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze (1) How is the performance of a queuing system that is currently used in the transaction process in the Bank Nagari Cabang Pembantu Unand (2) How to optimize the model M / M / S on Bank Nagari Cabang Pembantu Unand. The results showed that: (1) The performance of Bank Nagari Cabang Pembantu Unand conditions busy hours (10:00 to 12:00) is not optimal it can be seen from unfulfilled time standards target (2) The Proper number of teller on Bank Nagari Cabang Pembantu Unand for busy hours are 3 teller, with the time average to serve 1 customers reduced from 7 minutes to 2 minutes, and it is fulfilled the time standard targets.

Abstract

Firm resources are fundamental drivers of performance. It can be classified into three categories: physical capital, organizational capital and human capital. Human capital has been considered a major asset to warehouse operations, but has not been tested empirically. A study was conducted to test the relationship between human capital and warehousing performance has been conducted on the Licensed Manufacturing Warehouse (LMW) in Peninsular Malaysia. There are 1958 manufactureres with LMW and 800 were randomly selected. During data collection, this study received 107 responses and 102 responses were used. The result showed that, human capital has a positive relationship and significantly influential on the performance of warehousing. This study has provided information that any additional value to human capital can lead to better performance. For the future, studies should be done on the relationship between other resources to the performance of organizations. Such studies can help to increase knowledge about the phenomenon of the relationship between resources and performance.

Abstract

The objective of this research was to investigates the effect of a set of individual characteristics (i.e., computer self efficacy, knowledge of search domain, and Internet experience) and system characteristics (i.e., complexity, relevance, and relative advantage) on intention to use Internet by using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) as a basic theory. Questionnaire survey method was used to collect primary data. Statistical analysis methods and Partial Least Square were used to data analyse.  Based on a sample of 181 lecturers in Universitas Negeri Padang, the survey result shows that the intention to use Internet influenced by system characteristics through perceived usefulness. Specifically, lecturers largely anchoring their acceptance decisions in the usefulness of the technology rather than in its ease of use. When making decisions to accept a technology, lecturers expressed considerable concerns about the relevance and the relative advantage of the technology on their activities. While individual characteristic variables i.e. computer self efficacy and Internet experience as like as system characteristic variable that is complexity are important determinants of  perceived ease of use, they do not affect the lecturer’s intention to use Internet.
