Abstract

This research used transformational leadership as independent variable to cynicism about organizational change. Transformational leadership expected to has negatif and significant influence on cynicism about organizational change. Survey conducted to 250 employees at PT. PLN Padang (Rayon Kuranji, Rayon Tabing, Rayon Belanti, and Rayon Indarung), PT. Telkom Padang, PT. MNC Sky Vision (KPP Padang and KPP Bukittinggi). Data analyzed using moderated regression analysis.The research finding showed that transformational leadership had negative and significant effect on cynicism about organizational change.

Abstract

The implementation of Total productive Maintenance (TPM) is to improve maintenance performance in production machine at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VI Rimbo Dua. This is a descriptive research. The analysis used overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), OEE six big losses, pareto diagrams and cause and effect diagrams. As a result PTPN VI Rimbo Dua had a problem about machine performance value, it was lower than the world class standard about 71.85% (≤ 95%). Caused of the low OEE value (65,16%) is high idling and minor stoppages and reduced speed losses value. To improve this problem the company is implementing TPM, with planning 8 TPM pillars as the foundation for implementing TPM.Keywords: Total Productive Maintenance, Pareto Diagram, Cause and Effect Diagram

Abstract

This research background overshadow by challenge faced by Yakult Indonesia, In where Indonesian people generally not yet accustomed to drink prebiotic drink, while other Asian have accustomed to drink prebiotic drink. Therefore, Producer of Yakult try to grow the habit to consume of Yakult and to give motivate by using marketing stimulus (Marketing Mix) to the consumer. This research aim to analyze: 1) Which marketing mix variable (product, price, distribution or promotion) what most is influencing the purchasing motivation of Yakult product by consumer in Padang City. 2) Toward impact of product to purchasing motivation of Yakult product by consumer in Padang City. 3) Toward impact of price to purchasing motivation of Yakult product by consumer in Padang City. 4) Toward impact of promotion to purchasing motivation of Yakult product by consumer in Padang City. 5) Toward impact of distribution to purchasing motivation of Yakult product by consumer in Padang City. Type of this research is causative research. As the result variable of product and variable of price do not significant influence purchasing motivation, variable of promotion and variable of distribution owning influence to purchasing motivation of consumer at  Yakult product  in  Padang City. Suggestion to company, promotion and distribution need remain to be improved to utilize to maintain and draw many consumers. Company also have to strengthen product utilize creator motivate purchasing to consumer. And also pricing has to carefully.

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the mechanisms and procedures for implementing the budget of the Road Infrastructure, Spatial, and Settlement Office of XXX Province whether it is already in accordance with applicable regulations and analyzing factors that caused high realization of the budget on the second semester. This study is a descriptive analysis of the financial management and its activities is using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data and to obtain the research data used deep interview technique, documentation and observation.The results showed the mechanisms and budget execution procedures are not in accordance with the applicable rules and there are activities that is not on time from a predetermined schedule. The factors that caused high realization of the budget on the second semester is the delay of Budget Implementation Document (DPA) to the Department; slow separation of activities; the slow process of Executive Officer of Engineering Activity (PPTK) appointment; late tendering process; and Procurement Service Unit officers (ULP), which is doing dual task . The results of the study also shows the weakness of the Internal Control System (SPI) of the Road Infrastructure, Spatial, and Settlement Office in financial management and operations that caused volume and quality of work reduced. To optimizing and maximizing budget implementation, Road Infrastructure, Spatial, and Settlement Office has to improve its Internal Control System, has responsibility and higher authority on the job, perform separation of functions, and improve the integrity of management, review and do close monitoring of the work, both internal and external, in order to avoid irregularities and misappropriation of the budget implementation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Financial Compensation and Job Satisfaction of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on Employees of PT. Kilang Lima Gunung. Population of this research is all employees at PT. Kilang Lima Gunung totaling 105 people. The sampling technique of this study is Cluster Random Sampling with a sample of 104 employees. The analysis technique used is path analysis. Data analysis in this study using Analysis of Moment Structure using IBM SPSS AMOS 22 program. The results showed that: (1) financial compensation did not positively and significantly affect the Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on the employees of PT. Gunung Lima refinery, (2) financial compensation has a positive and significant impact on employee work satisfaction of PT. Kilang Lima Gunung, (3) job satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) of PT. Abstract

This study aims to analyze (1) the influence of profitability (2) market rate, (3) the rate of inflation on stock prices in the manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This study considered the causative research. Types of data used is secondary data obtained from www.idx.co.id. The method of analysis used is multiple regression analysis. The results of this study concluded (1) profitability has positive and significant impact on the stock price at manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange (2) the ratio of the market has positive and significant impact on the stock price at manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange (3) the negative effect of inflation and no significant effect on the stock price at manufacturing companies listed on the Stock Exchange.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to analyse the influence of insider ownership, investment opportunity set, firm growth, and business risk toward corporate debt policy on property and real estate in Indonesia stock exchange. The population for this research was all property and real estate company listed in Indonesian stock exchange for 2010-2013. The sample was determined by purposive sampling contained of 68 samples. The method of analysis used in this research was multiple regressions. The results shows that: 1) Insider Ownership gave negative influence and significant toward corporate debt policy on property and real estate in Indonesia stock exchange, 2) investment opportunity set gave positive influence and significant toward corporate debt policy on property and real estate in Indonesian stock exchange, 3) the firm growth gave positive influence but not significant toward corporate debt policy on property and real estate in Indonesian stock exchange, 4) the business risk gave negative influence and significant to ward corporate debt policy on property and real estate in Indonesian stock exchange.

Abstract

Competition increasingly competitive requires every company both manufacturing and services, including RSUD Pariaman to always consider the customer wants and needs and try to meet what they expect. The purpose of this research is to analyze how is the quality of service, a service attribute be the first priority, and recommendations can be given to improve the quality of services RSUD Pariaman. The results showed that 25 of the 26 attributes of service is worth the negative gap with the largest value of -1.21 for the attribute "The hospital has a waiting room, treatment rooms, beds, toilets and adequate sanitation" and “The hospital has enough medicines and adequate medical equipment (such as CT-Scan, MRI, USG, etc)”. Based on analysis of IPA there are 11 attributes included in quadrant A and must be repaired. Recommendations based on the highest priority needs to be done and improved in advance is "Conducting training and employee empowerment" with the highest analytical value 0.1702 or 17.02%. With this recommendation is expected to improve the quality of service in RSUD Pariaman.  Keywords: Service Quality, Importance Performance Analysis, Quality Function Deployment

Abstract

This study provides comprehensive analysis of an IPO (Initial Public Offering) underwriting process.  It  considers  the  set  of  actions  that  an underwriter  undertakes  as  an  integrated process, explicitly recognizing the interdependencies among pre market, issue-date, and aftermarket underwriter activities. It can be drawn only if these relationships are fully rather than partially considered. This analysis clarifies the relationships between the various underwriter activities and the returns that investors earn during different periods after the offerings. It also shows that an underwriter reputation has implications for both underwriter activities during the underwriting process and investor returns.Underwriter  reputation  is  a  positive  but  weakly  determinant  of  pre  market underwriter  activities,  unrelated  to  aftermarket  price  stabilization  activities,  and unrelated  to  investor  returns.  Pre  market  underwriter  activities  are  a  significant determinant  of  initial  returns  but  unrelated  to  aftermarket  activities  and  short-run returns. Initial returns are significantly related to aftermarket underwriter activities and longer-run returns. The results suggest for a simultaneous consideration of underwriter reputation and market activities, and for which path analysis can be drawn about the IPO as a set of process and investor returns.

Abstract

Koperasi sebagai kelembagaan ekonomi semakin dibutuhkan untuk dapat berperan dalam menyediakan barang dan jasa yang dibutuhkan masyarakat. Agar dapat berperan maka koperasi harus mempunyai kinerja yang baik dan mampu bersaing dengan badan usaha lainnya. Untuk mengetahui bagaimana kinerja koperasi yang ada di Sumatera Barat, khususnya kabupaten Agam, Tanah Datar,Pesisir Selatan, dan Solok maka perlu dilakukan kajian. Kajian dilakukan dengan cara mengadakan survey terhadap aspek keaktifan badan usaha, kinerja usaha, kohesivitas dan partisipasi angggota, orientasi  pelayanan anggota, pelayanan masyarakat, dan  kontribusi koperasi terhadap pembangunan. Dari kajian yang dilakukan ditemukan hanya terdapat sebanyak 15 unit atau 13,64 %  koperasi yang termasuk kategiri berkualitas, sebanyak 68 unit atau 61,82 % cukup berkualitas, 14 unit atau 12,73 %  kurang berkualitas. Tidak satupun dari koperasi yang dinilai termasuk kedalam kategori sangat berkualitas, sebagai kualisifikasi yang tertinggi. Dari segi aspek penilaian, yang paling  baik  adalah aspek keaktifan badan usaha dengan nilaI rata-rata 68 dari 95 nilai maksimum atau dengan capaian nilai 71,63 %. Aspek penilaian yang paling rendah adalah aspek kontribusi koperasi terhadap pembangunan daerah dengan nilai rata-rata 7 dari 20 nilai maksimum  dengan capaian nilai 33,43 %. Disarankan untuk  pembinaan dan pengembangan koperasi  dimasa datang agar lebih difokuskan kepada aspek pembinaan kinerja usaha, aspek orientasi pelayanan dan aspek partisipasi anggota. Koperasi yang termasuk kategori cukup berkualitas dan berkualitas disarankan agar dikelola oleh manajer yang mempunyai kemampuan konseptual, human relation dan keterampilan berusaha dengan pendidikan minimal sarjana. Manajer ini agar disiapkan oleh pemerintah, baik melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan dari manajer atau pengurus yang sudah ada, atau dengan melakukan rekruitmen sarjana menjadi manajer koperasi dengan kontrak kerja selama periode tertentu.
