Abstract

Some Arabic learning at this time does not pay close attention to the study of Arabic culture. Learn in class only while learning theoretically calm language itself. Meanwhile, discussions about culture in learning are carried out in important ways. This second thing can be done so that it must be done by going hand in hand. Everything that is found in language contains original culture, and so culture is one that language cannot make. Macrolinguistic has become one of the scientific trends in studying the issue of learning Arabic in Indonesia. One of that dialogues in applied linguistics is anthropolinguistics. That scientific interdiscipline is the result of integration between culture and language. A significant relationship between language and culture makes academics interested in formulating the framework, so that it can be used as a basis for language studies through culture or cultural studies through language. In the modern era, anthropolinguistics has three theories, namely performance, indexicality, and participation. This paper examines how anthropolinguistic theory plays a role in learning Arabic in Indonesia, especially with regard to core competencies in it. This study uses a literature paradigm that is operationally obtained by author from books and articles that have relevance to the topic of discussion. Furthermore, the library data will be dialogue by the author systematically, objectively, and comprehensively. Analysis of the literature that has been done produce a synthesis that learning Arabic in the perspective of modern antropolinguis should consist of the following competencies, namely the grammatical competence, communicative competence and pragmatic, and Arabic language skills. From this theoretical study of anthropolinguistic learning based Arabic, it can be synthesized that the anthropolinguistic theory in Arabic learning has implications for its hard core in the learning process which cannot be denied at all. The hard core is related to the competencies that must be presented by an Arabic learner, especially in Indonesia, namely grammatical competence, communicative and pragmatic competence, and Arabic language skills.

Abstract

This research has been motivated by the struggle of teachers to overcome the difficulty in applying innovative and practical learning models, as they need to understand complexity of teaching textbooks without being provided with a complete explanation. The sociodrama learning model handbook is expected to be useful in overcoming academic problems of Arabic language learning models with sociodrama method. It also to measure the necessity of teachers in creating an effective Arabic language learning model handbook. The research is based on potentials and problems in the field especially in the Arabic language learning model by sociodrama method. This research was conducted by research and development approach (R&D) and used ten steps of the research that formulated by Sugiyono. As a development product, it is used to provide the necessity of teachers at Senior HighSchool of An Nida’ Islamic Boarding School Wonosobo.

Abstract

This study examines the poem "ma fi al-maqami lidzi‘aql wa dzi adab" by Imam Shafi'i in terms of Arudh and qawafi. Poem is an Arabic literary work that cannot be separated from the rules of Arudh and qawafi. If some poem violates the rules of Arudh and Qawafi then it can be agreed that poem is fasid (broken). Analysis in the science of Arudh will produce bahar, zihaf and ilah used in a poem. While qawafi science will produce qafiyah forms and types of qafiyah; this type of qafiyah is still further divided into three qafiyah letters, qafiyah societies and qafiyah rules. The method in this research is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative by examining the work of Shafi'i and descriptive imams for evaluating the results of the analysis of the poem "ma fi al-maqami lidzi‘aql wa dzi adab ".

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the existence of Bi’ah lughawiyah in increasing students' mufrodat in Nurul Islam women’s dormitory Tengaran Boarding House. This research is descriptive qualitative. Techniques of data collection using observation, tests, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques according to Matthew B. Miles and A. Michel Huberman (data collection, Data Reduction, Data Presentation, Conclusion). The results showed that the activities that took place at Bi’ah lughawiyah were Language Tutorials, Speeches (Muhadarah), Muhadasah, Language Time, Drilling, Mahrojan Lughawi. The existence of Bi’ah lughawiyah as a forum to improve students' mastery of mufrodat in practicing Arabic as a language of everyday instruction in communication in the environment of the Nurul Islam Tengaran women's dormitory. Although basically not all students' mastery ability is influenced by the existence of Bi'ah lughawiyah. There are other factors that also influence students' mastery of mastery skills obtained from previous educational backgrounds, namely alumni from Islamic-based elementary schools with mean = .75, standard deviation = 5.82, and standard error = 0.77.

Abstract

The problem behind this research is that students’ difficulty in writing the letters of the Arabic alphabet and connecting letters to a word. The purpose of this research is to find out the factors that cause students difficulties in writing Arabic alphabet letters. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research design with a case study approach.The results of the research has shows that students were still very difficult in writing Arabic alphabet. The student’s category of difficulty is the difficulty in writing the letters of the Arabic alphabet either standing or straying, and the placement of the letters is still wrong. Then the letter writing which is considered difficult is the letters د, ذ, س, ش, ص, ض, ط, ظ, ف, ق, م, و, هـ ي . As for the causes of students’ difficulty in writing the letter of the Arabic alphabet, it comes from both internal and external factors. Internal factors include students do not memorize the letters of the Arabic alphabet, lack of talent, interest and motivation. External factors include means and less supportive learning infrastructure, and the learning methods and media used by the teacher are less varied.

Abstract

Arabic education is a necessity for people who are Muslim. Islam is spread throughout the world including the Southeast Asian region. Southeast Asia, which includes the Philippines, Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and others who have a majority Muslim population. Islam entered the region peacefully, making it easier for development and its spread. The development and spread of Islam along with learning Arabic, because Arabic is the language of the Muslim holy book. However, the provision of education and learning in Arabic varies from country to country even though it is still in one region of Southeast Asia. The concepts of Arabic language education applied are strongly influenced by the state of government in these countries.
