Abstract

Research on the effect of peer tutoring methods in 5th grade learning inSD Negeri Mangunsari 06 Salatiga city aims to find out how improvement in learning in students in using peer tutoring learning methods in the classroom and knowing the effect of peer tutoring learning method in 5th grade learning SD Negeri Mangunsari 06 Salatiga city. The research method used is the interview method. The results of the research that have been conducted are that students more active and creative thinking in the presence of peer tutoring methods. This means that there is an effect of increasing students learning interest with peer tutoring methods in learning. Therefore, in using peer tutoring learning methods more effective and fun for students.

Abstract

This study discusses how to learn mathematics which was reviewed in class 5 students of SD Negeri Ledok 06 Salatiga. This research was conducted through qualitative methods. Data sources were obtained through two sources, namely primary data obtained from research subjects by using data retrieval tools directly on the subject of class 5 information sources. Secondary data obtained from other parties indirectly from the subject of information sources namely teacher grade 5. Data collection was obtained using studying 5th grade students while at home, besides using study studios that are used to obtain data consisting of instruments that relate to students who are learning and learning mathematics in class 5. The population in this study offers 13 students divided into 8 women and 5 men male class 5 at SD Negeri Ledok 06. The results of the study show: 1. There is a positive influence between improving learning and mathematics learning outcomes, 2. Students who rank 1-5 have a higher learning duration compared to students who have short learning advantages.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the application of the 2013 Curriculum Based Jigsaw learning technique and improve student learning achievement. The subjects used were the fifth grade students of Blotongan District Elementary School 01 Salatiga 1st Semester 2019/2020 Year with a total of 25 students. The technique used in this study is class action research or PTK which consists of two cycles. Each cycle consists of the stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. Data retrieval used is a test in the form of test questions and non-tests in the form of observation or direct observation. Data analysis was performed by quantitative techniques. In the first cycle the final score achieved was an average of 71.28. In the second cycle the number of final grades managed to rise with an average value of 79.32. Thus there was an increase of 8.04. Based on the analysis of the results of the study, the Jigsaw method succeeded in increasing the learning achievement of students in the first cycle of 72.35% and the second cycle of 82.50%. Abstract

This study aims to describe the benefits of fairy tales in formation child character. This study aims to determine the character formation of children through fairy tales and also the benefits of fairy tales in the formation of children's character. Fairy tales are stories that contain moral and social values that are useful for shaping children's character. Formation of children's character can be done in the school learning environment and home or family environment. The strategy of forming a child's character is done by giving examples, habituating to reading fables, habitual listening to tales, and creating a supportive reading environment. Storytelling is a creative activity of a teacher to convey messages to students, because elementary students cannot understand the pure advice given. They need learning that is not patronizing, so that it creates a cheerful and pleasant atmosphere. Storytelling becomes successful when students can focus on paying attention to the contents of the story and getting to know the characters that are told, then students remember the contents of the story and store it in the memory of the brain which can be taken back when needed. Furthermore, students translate the memory of stories that exist in their brains in the form of behavior that shows positive character and national cultural values.

Abstract

The research conducted aims to analyze the influence of facilities and learning outcomes of fourth grade natural science. The research used is qualitative research where the object being examined is the result of a learning process. Qualitative research is research conducted on natural conditions, which develop as they are, not manipulated by researchers. Qualitative research is generally carried out in the context of evaluation or survey research. The researcher conducted research through observations in several elementary schools in Salatiga with the influence of facilities used during the learning process, The analysis carried out using descriptive analysis. The results of the research obtained on several elementary schools that have been surveyed regarding the facilities and learning outcomes of students namely SD Negeri Salatiga 05 with 33 students, Ledok 06 Elementary School with 14 students, and Kanisius Gendongan Elementary School Salatiga with 39 students. In addition there is an average value of each elementary school as follows: SD Negeri Salatiga 05 with an average value of 71, SD Negeri Ledok 06 with an average value of 60. While SD Kanisius Gendongan Salatiga with an average value of 75 students..

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the positive impact of learning evaluation on the learning achievement of 4th grade students of SD Negeri Blotongan 03. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research. In this study using descriptive methods. The sample of this study is 4th grade student of SD Negeri Blotongan 03 even semester of the school year 2018/2019 which is thirty. The instruments in this study included observation, questionnaires, field notes, and interviews. Then analyzed using quantitative data, namely bi summing the result of the questionnaire in each number. The results of the study obtained that through various kinds of evaluations of learning carried out by teacher for 4th grade students of SD Negeri Blotongan 03 show result that have a positive impact in the scope of 4 eduction domain, namely cognitive, spiritual, affective, and psychomotor.

Abstract

The focus of this research is to investigate the impact of learning media towards the students’ value in grade six. This research was conducted in Ledok Elementary School State 6 in Salatiga by using survey with eighteen students as the number of the sample. Survey method was applied by the researcher in this research by giving questionnaire for students grade six. The result of this research showed that the use of learning media performed the strong impact towards the students’ learning achievement. In the development of elementary students, the students were in the a concrete operational phase. Moreover, the students need something real or all the learning process which involved the sensory in this phase. The use of learning media were effective to make the students became more enthusiastic and more active in the learning activity

Abstract

This study describes the development of character education through scouting activities. The purpose of this study is to find out about how to realize character education in schools, forms of scouting activities that can realize character education, and form the results of character education through scouting activities. The research method used is a qualitative method by using thought analysis by reference to various journals and books that have appeared before. The results of writing indicate that character building through scouting activities is carried out through the role of scout coaches as partners or mentors, providing support and facilitating students with activities that are modern, interesting, and challenging. The methods include: applying the scout honor code on each activity; learning activities while doing, grouping, working together, and competing; outdoor activities such as camps; awards in the form of skill marks, as well as separate units for male and female shelter. The writing results show that scouting activities can develop students' character to be better and can be a role model in the community in daily life by practicing and carrying out Tri Satya and Dasa Dharma as a reference to the young generation of the Indonesian nation with the Pancasila foundation.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melihat hubungan antara iklim sekolah dengan kecerdasan emosional siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP 30 siswa. Pengukuran kecerdasan emosional menggunakan skala kecerdasan emosional, pengukuran persepsi iklim sekolah menggunakan skala persepsi iklim sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana. Hasil analisis penelitian: teradapat hubungan antara persepsi iklim sekolah dengan kecerdasan emosional siswa dengan nilai sig = 0,001< 0,05. R (x_(→^y )) = 0,501, R^2(x_(→^y )) = 0,251 menunjukan kontribusi variabel iklim sekolah terhadap kecerdasan emosional sebesar 25,1%

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mendeskripsikan proses pembelajaran Biologi melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Telaah Yurisprudensi dan Mendeskripsikan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Biologi melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Telaah Yurisprudensi Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Swasta Pembda 2 Gunungsitoli tahun pembelajaran 2018/2019. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian kelas XI-IPA. Hasil penelitian adalah: 1) pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran Pada siklus I responden guru 50% pada pertemuan I dan 71,75% (Cukup) pada pertemuan II dengan nilai rata-rata 60,87%. Angket kualitas pembelajaran siklus I mencapai 62,29% (cukup) Sedangkan pada siklus II mencapai 93,75% (baik sekali) pada pertemuan I dan mencapai kategori baik sekali dengan persentase 98,44% pada pertemuan II serta rata-rata 96,09%. Angket kualitas pembelajaran mencapai kategori baik sekali dengan persentase nilai 89,50%; 2) Nilai hasil rata-rata belajar pada siklus I sebesar 62,51 dan tergolong kurang dengan persentase ketuntasan 35,13% dan ketidaktuntasan 64,87%. Pada siklus II (kedua), nilai rata-rata hasil belajar 80,64 dan tergolong baik dengan persentase ketuntasan 86,48% dan ketidaktuntasan 13,52%.
