Abstract

The purpose of this research to analyze errors of students answer to get a conception of learning obstacles in the fraction material in 4th grade of elementary school. This analysis is important as a basis to prepare teaching materials and to predict of student responses and how to anticipate. This research used the qualitative method. The research subjects were 32 student of 5th grade elementary school who had studied fractions in grade IV in Tasikmalaya Regency. Based on the results of analysis of test and interview data, there are several barriers on student learning. First, didactical obstacles were identified from mistake doing the test problems which is caused by how students studied and materials which used by students such as fraction material that did not clearly define how fractions was and emphasize knowledge procedures, then students do not study fractions through the partitioning process, somewhere partitioning will make learning easier. Second, epistemological obstacles as a result from errors in the processing of questions caused by the limited context of knowledge possessed by students. For example, the definition of fractions which are part of the whole, students are limited to that context without paying attention at the parts as equal/more or less. In addition, procedures of student understanding for example fraction simplification, fraction sequencing, and subtraction and addition of fractions are limited to certain questions. When the questions are different than usual, there are students who didn’t understand the purpose of the problem.

Abstract

The research objective of this class action is to determine student learning outcomes before using the media three-dimensional, the use of three-dimensional media, and student learning outcomes by using three-dimensional media on the subject matter of the attitude of harmony and help each other in class III MI Al-Islah. The method used in this research is a classroom action research. The study consisted of III cycles where each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Based on the results obtained can be summarized as follows: 1) student learning outcomes before using a three-dimensional media is still low, with an average value of 70.03 with 46% mastery learning; 2) the use of three-dimensional media in each cycle has risen in the first cycle of teacher activity 44%, cycles II 69%, 81% the third cycle, shile the activity of the first cycle students 42%, 67% the second cycle and the third cycle of 67%; 3) the results of student learning outcomes by using the doll media in each cycle has increased. In the first cycle with an average of 73.21 completeness study 54%, then the second cycle with an average of 76.60 completeness study 82%, and the third cycle reach the average grade is 81.43 with 89% mastery learning.

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there are differences in student learning outcomes that use learning with inquiring minds want to know strategy and students who use conventional learning lectures. The research method used is Quasi Experimental Design with non-equivalent kontrol group design.The research sample is class 3C as many as 25 students as an experimental class and 3D class as many as 25 students as a kontrol class. Data collection techniques using a test, which consist of pretest and posttest questions.  Data analysis using Independent Sample tTest with t count obtained in the Independent sample t-Test is 2,932. Whereas the t table for the 5% significance level is 2.02 and 1% is 2.69, it can be seen that t count is greater than t table that is 2.02 <2.932> 2.69, meaning that there are differences in learning outcomes between experimental and kontrol classes. So it can be said that the Inquiring Minds Want to know Strategy influences student learning outcomes on “Money type and use” material.

Abstract

The development experienced by humans when explored deeply will make people more confident in the power of God. Simple things such as the process of developing the language and art of children, in fact there is something extraordinary in it, which if disturbed will have an impact on further developments or other aspects.Writing this journal uses a qualitative approach, through observation, interviews, and documentation as a data collection technique. Based on the results of the research conducted, there are some results, namely the indicator of language development of VA class children basically has been achieved in accordance with the task of development at his age. But there are some things that have not been maximized in achieving this, such as the use of synonyms from several words, and metaphorical sentences that do not fully understand. The development of VA class art is in the phase of the Early Realism and the Early Age of Pseudo Naturalism which in the early realism phase In the period of Early Realism, children's work more closely resembled reality. Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to determine students’ understanding of mathematics subjects when applied to the REACT strategy in the learning process. This study used classroom action research in class V of MI Al-Musdariyah Cileunyi Bandung which amounted to 24 students. Data collection techniques in this study used tests, observations, and documentation. Learning outcomes before using the REACT strategy were obtained 25% of the test results. Teacher activities in cycle I of action 1 and 2 were 50% and 66,67% increased in cycle II action 1 and 2 by 83,33% and 91,67%. Students activities in cycle I actions 1 and 2 amounted to 60,60% and 69,70%. There was an increase in cycle II of action 1 and 2 by 84,84% and 96,97%. The test result of students understanding using the REACT strategy increased, namely the first cycle of learning completeness classically, which was 74,98% and in the second cycle the classical learning completeness increased to 89,58%. It can be concluded that this REACT strategy can improve students understanding of mathematics subjects at MI Al-Musdariyah Cileunnyi.

Abstract

Practically mathematical learning is often carried out through the provision of learning facilities to achieve the goal of skillfully solving the problem. Probably, quite a lot of mathematics learning is done through the provision of learning experiences to find rules or formulas. However, there is not much mathematics learning that provides the learning experience of mathematics along with the values of the learning mathematics developed in each student. In general, this paper writes about what and how to learn maths of value, so as to characterize. In particular, this paper writes about the notion of learning mathematics, characters, and learning mathematics that develop character. This article is to be understood and acted upon by teachers, student prospective teachers, parents, and the general public in increasing knowledge and stimulus in developing the willingness and learning ability and teaching students/children about mathematics.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe aim of this research is to apply interactive multimedia to students special needs. The use of interactive multimedia in the learning of Islamic Religious Education to provide different learning experiences for students special needs. The material included in interactive multimedia is “Mengenal Malaikat ALLAH SWT”. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach. This approach is intended to record the use of media in the learning of Islamic Religious Education at SLB Nurul Ikhsan Ngadiluwih which is conducted on 10 students, Islamic subject teachers and Principals who are the subjects. Indicators of the use of instructional media include planning, implementing and evaluating learning. As a qualitative descriptive study, the data collection method was carried out using interviews and observations. From this study found several things namely students are more motivated in learning, this is because the appearance of an interesting media and is equipped with an animation about the explanation of the material; students can learn anywhere and anytime because learning media is portable; the teacher gets ease in delivering subject matter.Keyword: Interactive multimedia, students special needs, mentally disabled.  ABSTRAKTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menerapkan multimedia interaktif kepada siswa berkebuthan khusus. Penggunaan multimedia interaktif dalam pembelajaran Pendidiakan Agama Islam untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar berbeda kepada siswa luar biasa. Materi yang dimasukkan dalam multimedia interaktif adalah materi Mengenal Malaikat ALLAH SWT. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Pendekatan ini dimaksudkan untuk merekam pemanfaatan media dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SLB Nurul Ikhsan Ngadiluwih yang dilakukan kepada 10 siswa, guru mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Kepala Sekolah yang menjadi subyeknya. Indikator pemanfaatan media pembelajaran meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan penilaian pembelajaran. Sebagai penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan, wawancara dan observasi. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan beberapa hal yaitu Siswa lebih termotivasi dalam beajar, hal ini dikarenakan tampilan media yang menarik dan dilengkapi dengan animasi tentang penjelasan materi; siswa bisa belajar dimana saja dan kapan saja karena media pembelajaran bersifat portable; guru mendapatkan kemudahan dalam penyampaian materi pelajaran.Kata kunci: Multimedia interaktif, siswa berkebutuhan khusus, tunagrahita.

Abstract

This paper examines the analysis of the development of aspects of the (cognitive) knowledge of children in Muhammadiyah 2 Berbah Elementary School, especially children who attend the Tahfidz Al-Quran program at the elementary school. After the research was conducted it was found that students who followed the Tahfidz Al-Quran program experienced an increase in their cognitive development. The more children memorize the Koran the more the level of cognitive development develops. This is also a proof for parents of students, if participating in the tahfidz program the Koran is open to burden on students and makes their learning outcomes decline, but with the Tahfidz Al-Quran program makes students' cognitive development better.In general, this paper presents 5 (three) questions. First, what is meant by knowledge / cognitive? Second, what is meant by the development of students? Third, what are the cognitive levels? Fourth, what are the developmental aspects of students? And finally is how is the relationship between students who follow Tahfidz Al-Quran with the cognitive development of students?This study is expected to be able to add scientific treasure and become a reference in studying children's cognitive development and its relationship with the Tahfidz Al-Quran program.Keywords: Cognitive, Learners

Abstract

The barriers possessed by autistic children are communication and language, so that they have lack vocabulary. The purpose of this study is to describe the vocabulary skills of autistic children both before and after the intervention state and analyze the visual media (pictures) on the vocabulary of autistic children.  This research method is quantitative using Single Subject Research (SSR) A-B-A design with A is the baseline and B is an intervention. The results showed there was an influence of the use of visual media (pictures) on the vocabulary ability of autistic children

Abstract

This study aims to determine the types of learning style of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) students in memorizing the Qur'an. The type of this research is qualitative research using Case Study strategy in two schools, namely MI Negeri 1 Bantul and MI YAPPI Gubukrubuh Gunungkidul. For data collection, this study uses three methods, namely observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results of the study explained that there are at least four learning styles, namely 1). Visual style of students memorizing the Qur'an, 2). Aural style of students memorizing the Qur'an, 3). Kinesthetic style of students memorizing the Qur'an, and 4). Social style of students memorizing the Qur’an. Keywords: Types of Learning Style, Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, Memorizing the Qur'an
