Abstract

This article reviews a criqlltical discourse analysis implementing Norman Fairclough perspective as the basis of analysis. There are three kinds of dimensions to analyze according to Fairclough, they are sentence structure, lexicon, and meaning. This article is a small report on a small CDA research by analyzing a television talk show, Indonesian Lawyer Club on TV One. The data are utterances recorded from the intercollutors in the event consisiting of nine parts of recording. They are Karni Ilyas, the host of the event, attorneys, Susno Duaji and his lawyer, and experts invited to the event. The research implemented critical discourse analysis especially based on Norman faiclough to uncover the implied meaning of the speaker. It was found that there were implicatures giving pragmatic force which were found in each recording which enabled watchers to understand the speaker meaning easily

Abstract

This study is aimed to describe deductive reasoning e of Junior High School Students in solving geometry problem based on gender difference. Deductive reasoning in this study refers to general premise, specific premise, conclusion drawing. The subjects of this study are two Junior High School Students. The technique of collecting data applied in this study are task giving and interview. The result of the study would be presented as follows: (1) deductive reasoning e of the male student; at the planning phase for solving problem, subject could formulate general premise and mention the premises which were used to solve the given problem. Subject could also formulate specific premise by giving logical premise referring to general premise based given problem, and he could draw conclusion by determining the strategy firstly to solve the given problem. At the executing planning phase for solving the problem, subject could formulate general premise using premises in order to solve the given problem. Subject could also formulate specific premise by determining logical premise referring to general premise based given problem, and he could draw conclusion using general and specific premise that had been proved. (2) Deductive reasoning e of the female student; at the planning phase for solving problem, subject could formulate general premise by mentioning the premises which were used to solve the given problem. Subject could also formulate specific premise by giving logical premise referring to general premise based given problem, and he could draw conclusion by determining the strategy firstly to solve the given problem. At the executing planning phase for solving the problem, subject could formulate general premise using premises which were used to solve the given problem. Moreover, subject could not formulate specific premises and the way he drew the conclusion was contradictive to the strategy he determined at the planning phase for solving problem.

Abstract

Hasil belajar dipandang sebagai akibat proses belajar dan pencapaian hasil belajar lebih banyak ditentukan oleh proses pembelajaran. Penilaian bertujuan mengetahui hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan assesmen afektif siswa melalui pembelajaran berbasis proyek melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe group Investigation. Subjek uji coba adalah siswa SMA Negeri 2 Majene kelas X1 sebanyak 23 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dan tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk essay. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif. Analisis Validitas dengan Correlate Bivariate Pearson diperoleh nilai korelasi untuk setiap butir soal yang lebih besar dari 0,3 dengan nilai korelasi berdasarkan SPSS lebih kecil dari 0,05. Tingkat reliabilitas lebih besar 0,70 yaitu masing-masing 0,798, 0,804, dan 0,811. Melalui wawancara siswa berpendapat bahwa pembelajaran ini menyenangkan, hal ini menyebabkan nilai siswa pada setiap pertemuan meningkat.

Abstract

Implementation of inclusive education is a system that requires special education services for all children with special needs to get education in the same classes alongside regular students. This study aims to determine the implementation of inclusive education management and the obstacles encountered in the implementation of inclusive education management in SDN Sumbersari 1 Malang. This study used descriptive qualitative method. In collecting data, the researcher used data collection techniques include: observation, interviews and documentation. The Subjects of research were principals, homeroom, a special guidance counselor and parents. The results of this study show that: 1) The implementation of inclusive education management can be seen from the number of students with special needs in 2015/2016 academic period are 19 people, has 2 (two) special supervising teachers, and the curriculum has been modified according to the needs of students, 3) The obstacle encountered in the study was the funding of education, and some inadequate facilities and infrastructure as well as the lack of teacher assistant.

Abstract

Has conducted research that aims to determine the ability of early scientific literacy of students PGSD UNIROW on the concept of IPA consists of seven indicators: 1) identify the scientific opinion is valid 2) perform literature searches were effectively 3) to understand the elements of research design and how it will impact the findings / conclusions 4) make precise graph of the data; 5) solve problems using quantitative skills, including basic statistics; 6) understand and interpret basic statistics; 7) perform inference, prediction, and drawing conclusions based on quantitative data. The study is part of a study of the development of learning tools to improve science literacy. Science literacy proficiency tests were arranged were twenty-five items. Initial capability analyzed scientific literacy is the ability of scientific literacy of students before applied a model that could be expected to develop the ability of science literacy of students. The analysis showed that the literacy skills of students of higher science is an indicator of effective literature searches with a percentage of 40.15%. While the results of the analysis of the ability of scientific literacy of students lower is an indicator of solve problems using quantitative skills, including basic statistics with a percentage of 6.82%. The results obtained in accordance with the results of surve PISA 2003, 2006, 2009 and 2012 and the results of the TIMSS surve 2007dan year 2011 Indonesia demonstrate the ability of students in Indonesia, including in the low category.

Abstract

Lahirnya Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa pada 1998 menjadi sejarah penting dalam perpolitikan di Sampang. Kehadiaran PKB merubah peta politik Islam di sampang pascareformasi. Karena sebelum reformasi hanyaPartai Persatuan Pembangunan yang menjadi satusatunya partai Islam yang dianggap mewakili kepentingan Islam. Namun kekalahan PPP dari Golkar secara berturut-turut (1992 dan 1997) membuat massa PPP sangat kecewa. Apalagi tragedi 1997 yaitu kerusuan massal yang menelan banyak korban dari pihak massa PPP tidak mampu diselesaikan oleh Kiai Alawy Muhammad yang menjadi tokoh sentral PPP. Akumulasi kekecewaan kemudian mendapatkan saluran saat PKB lahir dan dideklarasikan sebagai partainya "orang-orang" NU. Mayoritas pemilih Sampang adalah NU, ormas ini begitu dekat dan familiar dengan masyarakat, karena NU organisasi Islam yang digawangi oleh para kiai. Imigrasi para kiai ke PKB yang tidak sejalan dengan ijtihad politik Kiai Alawy Muhammad secara otomatis diikuti oleh mayoritas masyarakat Sampang. Kemudian pada pemilu 1999 PKB meraup suara mayoritas dan keluar menjadi pemenang dengan memeroleh 18 kursi di DPRD mengungguli partai-partai yang lain.

Abstract

Mathematic is discipline that has a vital role in an effort to master of science and technology. Since the importance of mathematics, the mathematics learning process for students needs special attention. Therefore, teachers should also be able to select appropriate learning methods. One of the methods that is appropriate to help students learning math is to use Audio Visual learning media, because the media is very interesting since there are animation, images, audio, visuals involved in it. It can help students to visualize mathematical concepts in realistic. Based on the above, the authors choose the title in this study as follows: Correlation Response Students Against Use of Instructional Media Audio Visual With Subjects Mathematics Learning Achievement Highlights Size Tube In Class IX SMP Islam Surabaya. In this study the authors used quantitative research methods using the non-parametric Spearman Rank correlation data analysis for hypothesis testing. The population of this research was all Surabaya Islamic junior high school students, while samples of this study were all students of class IX SMP Islam Surabaya totaling 40 students. The result of analysis of this study was the percentage which obtained from the questionnaire responses of the students was increased.It means that the value of student achievement increasing also.It can be concluded that there was a correlation between students' response to the use of instructional media Audio Visual (X) with the learning achievement (Y) students class IX SMP Islam Surabaya and of the results were positive and the statistical correlation value is greater than 5% ie 0.968 it can be said that there is a significant correlation.

Abstract

The study focuses on the analysis of phonology on Madurese English students‟ pronunciation in reading an English text. The writer identified kinds of English oscillographic pronunciation made by Madurese students in reading an English text, the differences of English oscillographic pronunciation between Madurese students and that of the English native speaker in reading an English text and how Madurese language characteristics influences Madurese English students‟ pronunciation. To collect the data, she observed and recorded the Madurese English students‟ pronunciation by using MP4 then analysed it descriptively by using Praat program version 4027. Then, she found that the oscillographic pronunciation of Subject 2 and Subject 3 when it is compared to subject 1 is different and makes different meaning, but sometimes not. Furthermore, it is found that Madurese language characteristics influence them in reading the English text. Therefore, they made some sound changes: vowel, consonant and diphthong. Moreover, they also made deletion and addition. She concludes that their pronunciation is unintelligible because they often make mispronunciation.

Abstract

Dialogue is well known as a way tointroduce an example of how to express something to the students. Dialogues are primarily used to provide speaking practice but can also develop listening. The teacher can use dialogues to introduce and practice a function, structure, or vocabulary, and to illustrate degrees of politeness, levels of formality, and attitudes of the target culture. Moreover, students can be more activebecause of it. The writer assumes that though the students with less vocabulary still can speak and feel well in front of their other classmates because standard dialogue provide many vocabularies and expressions to be used. There are many types of dialogue; most of them are interesting to be used in an English class. In this paper, the writer tries to present an idea that dialogue in some types are not only good and effective to be used, but also able to activate the students, especially in a speaking class.

Abstract

Lobster breeding is a business to make as much profit as possible using advanced technology. The objective of the research is to find out the effect of feeding pellet, blood worms, mixed (blood worms and pellets) on the growth of crayfish (Cherax quadricarinatus), so by applying the type of these feed, they are able to support the growth of crayfish (Cherax quadricarinatus) optimally, This study is experimental research and uses a Randomized Completely Block Design with one treatment that is using feed ing for crayfish which consists of pellets, blood worms, and mixed feed (pellets and blood worms) in 3 repetitions. Research finding indicates that the type of feed which support growth lobster is a mixture of feed (pellets and blood worms). This is due to the protein contents of blood worm which are enriched by pellets nutritious and fulfilling need of lobster. On the feed mixture shows optimal qualifying that appropriate with the living conditions of crayfish, that is DO concentration of 4.47 ppm, pH 7.81, and the the temperature of 27  C.
