Abstract

Location of observation results were obtained preliminary data the value of the results obtained from the study of microbiology student class of 2012 a number of 297 students with a range (86-100) of 20% or 60 students, students with a range of values (70-85) by 23% or 68 students, while the value of students under 70 sebasar 57% or 169. The purpose of this research is as follows: Determine the influence learning model Think Pair Share Reciprocal Teaching combined with the learning outcomes of students. The study design is a quasi-experimental design (Quasi experiments). Research data analysis techniques performed by using analysis of covariance (Anacova). The results showed the average value of the lowest corrected is control by the conventional approach of 63 102 followed by 68. 923 polling stations, amounting to 71. 587 the next Reciprocal Teaching and TPS + RT amounted to 81. 644. Test homogeneity of variance between different groups or homogeneous data. An average of 4 models fell from above that showed significant are: the integration of TPS + RT RT significantly different, real different to the polling stations and significantly different to conventional (control). But for TPS and RT models are not significantly different.

Abstract

In International work environment, TOEIC test (Test of English for International Communication) is one of the factors or qualifications dealing with International communication. The result of TOEIC test becomes the reference on how far someone has the ability in mastering English both in Reading Skill and Listening Skill. Whenever someone is able to reach the standard score of TOEIC test, it can be said that he or she is able to communicate both written and orally. Moreover, he or she is able to communicate in English as well. In this research, the researcher focused on the ability of the lecturers of IKIP Budi Utomo Malang in mastering English, especially Reading Comprehension in TOEIC test. Focus on Reading Comprehension Skill was chosen since many lecturers of IKIP Budi Utomo Malang did not reach the standard score of TOEIC test, thus, they did not pass the TOEIC test. Dealing with mastering of Reading Comprehension skill, the researcher implemented Module which contains of Reading Comprehension knowledge and English Grammar knowledge. This Module was then implemented to help the lecturers of IKIP Budi Utomo Malang to understand those materials easily. In this research, the researcher implemented pre-experimental research by giving pre-test and post-test to the lecturers of IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. This pre-test was used to know exactly the ability of the lecturers in mastering Reading Comprehension before they had been given treatment. Then, the post test was used to measure the effectiveness of the implementation of Module in giving understanding and raising lecturers’ understanding of Reading Comprehension skill. The implementation of Module was able to raise the lecturers’ understanding of Reading Comprehension in TOEIC test, thus, they could reach the standard score in TOEIC test.

Abstract

This research aims to produce products such as module, which supporter statistics courses in IKIP Budi Utomo Malang institutions. It can be used to enhance the students' ability to solve problems. This research development method using ADDIE models which include analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. Methods of data collection in this study include legibility test. Results of this study we concluded the step wrote statistics module that determining competency standards, specify the title of the module, arrange the contents of the module, cover design, legibility test, revision and production. Based on the conclusion that thelegibility test for aspects of language, presentation, and graphic declared valid while the worthiness aspect of the module is very valid. So based on student legibility test module does not need to be revised.

Abstract

The difficulties faced by the students in the field of science studies biology that causes passivity and low impact on learning outcomes. Starting from this, the researchers would have to give an appreciation and solutions innovative learning model through the application of the application of "learning Cycle and Folder Concept", where learners are given the freedom as much as possible to create a map of the mind / concept that can connect and relate the material to be learned , The purpose of this study was to determine how the application of learning models LC (learning cycle) and map the concept of biology to improve learning outcomes. The approach used is classroom action research (PTK). Subjects were students of class VIII SMP Al-Amin Kedung Kandang Malang, totaling 42 students. The research was August 3 until 3 November 2015. The results of the research and data analysis Frequency learning outcomes of students in the first cycle was 69.52 with a percentage of 38.10%, the second cycle frequency of the learning outcomes at 78.92 with a percentage of 80.95% , -rata Average test scores of students in pre-cycle is 65.24, then rose to 69.52 in the first cycle, and reached 78.92 in Cycle II. Percentage completeness of classical study on pre Cycle only further increased 26.19% 38.10% in Cycle I, and the percentage of completeness of classical study in Cycle II reached 80.95%. The conclusion that the application of the learning model application "learning cycle and folders concept" can improve learning outcomes biology class VIII SMP Al-Amin Kedung Kandang Malang.

Abstract

The aim of this research was to describe the analyzed difficulty learn student category of low value in solving the statistics problems on discussion size measure of central mainstream, size measure dispersi, and the size measure situation. This research used the descriptive research method with the qualitative explorative approach. The subjects of the research were 12 students 2013 A and 2013 B Program Study of Education Language and literature Indonesia, four students categoryof high value, four students category of medium value, andfour students category of low value. The instruments used to gather data of worksheet for problem solving and interview guidelines. The data were task-based interview on the learning material of statistics problems. They were validated by using the time triangulation and the reference fulfillment. The data were analyzed using a Miles and Huberman’s concept, that was data reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results of the research are as follows. 1) Students categoryof low value not difficulties determining concept, using formula, and calculate solving the statistics problems on discussion size measure of central mainstream. 2) Students categoryof low valuedifficulties determining concept, using formula, and calculate solving the statistics problems on discussion size measure dispersicharacteristic coefficient of variation and permanent deviasi. 3) Students categoryof low valuedifficulties determining concept, using formula, and calculate solving the statistics problems on discussion size measure situationcharacteristic kuartilconcept from data pertain.

Abstract

The labor force based on BPS in 2013 as many as 121.19 million, while 114.02 million people already working then there are 11.90 million people into unemployment status. Entrepreneurial role is not only limited to the development of the nation's economy, but also as a driver, controller and user of a nation's economy. This research is an explanatory research or explanatory research, designed with a quantitative approach. Results of this study found that: (1) Self-efficacy does not affect the interest in entrepreneurship. The factors that cause insignificant is the attitude and habits that are owned by each student is not good. (2) Education in the family economy does not affect the interest in entrepreneurship. The factors that cause insignificant was socializing outside the home where a lot of interest in entrepreneurship is formed from outside the home. Additionally insignificant jiga was caused by the scarcity of personal communication or discussion between family members who discuss cases with material economic terkail economy. (3) Internalization of entrepreneurial values affect the interest in entrepreneurship. Internalization of self entrepreneurship can instill an attitude or behavior to become an entrepreneur. (4) Self-efficacy indirect effect of the interest in entrepreneurship through the internalization of entrepreneurship. Self-efficacy will form the internalization of entrepreneurship that will ultimately affect their interest in entrepreneurship. (5) Education in the family economy indirect effect of the interest in entrepreneurship through the internalization of entrepreneurship.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to study the role and how to develop of multikultural education in growing awareness nation for college students course history and sociology education IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. Research methods used in the form of qualitative research phenomenological approach that emphasizes understanding the meaning and the various events and human interaction. The research is found an awareness of the students education country history and sociology IKIP Budi Utomo Malang unfortunate, However it is important to develop through education multikultural marriages packed in academic and non academic. The resistance found in developing multikultural education in internal and eksternal. That is internal from students who still have the character of a toughregional blend and adapt, While esternally of organization provides space for accommodating the aspirations of students to administer activities on campus and outside.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Multiple Intelligences toward learning achievement in college history and sociology department IKIP Budi Utomo Malang. The method used in this study is the experimental method kind of explanatory research. The data obtained from the analysis of Multiple Intelligences questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression. From the results of this research showed no significant difference between linguistic intelligence, logic and intra personal on learning achievement college student history and sociology department IKIP Budi Utomo. From the analysis of the data obtained coefficient R2 of 0.079 indicates variable linguistic intelligence, logic and intrapersonal have an influence on the learning achievement of 7.9% while the remaining 92.1% is influenced by other variables not examined. Suggestions from this research are expected to party institution is willing to conduct training on making and writing papers or scientific work so that students are able to make posts or tasks properly. were all students majoring history and sociology department IKIP Budi Utomo Malang.

Abstract

Difficulties faced by students about the chemistry lesson, causing students to be passive and low impact on student learning outcomes. Therefore we need a method and model of teaching, so that students are able to discover the concepts, principles through his own mental process. The learning model used is the Guided Discovery, -which give maximum freedom to the students to develop creative thinking and motor power, while the role of the teacher is limited. This learning model utilizes computer media with Mindjet program mindmanagerr 9, which is connected to the power point and macro flash, making it easier for students to show the concepts of Chemistry abstract becomes more concrete.

Abstract

In the midst of technological development and increasing need to encourage people to large exploitation of environment, resulting in demage and environmental pollution. Humans is natural destroyer agent, in an efforto preserve the environment need to developed conceptual continuously. Based on observations, shows that students still have the attitude of environmental conservation is low. Design of learning not to lead to the settlement solving in the enviroment arounda the student, so that a low sense love for the environment and fostering poor attitude of environmental conservation. he learning model is applied to improve the condition is Problem-Map. This learning model implemented in several stages: (1) Problem Based Learning and (2) Making the Mind Map in solving problems. This research will develop learning model Problem-Map, the development of research methods using models Borg and Gall (1983). Based on trial results through the activities of PTK learning model suggests that the model of teaching Problem-Map can developing attitude of environmental conservation students at IKIP Budi Utomo Malang
