Abstract

When leaving the end of the second millennium and entering the beginning of the third millennium, humankind is faced with the phenomenon of conflict in the name of religion, both on a regional and global level. In modern history, there are so many conflicts that occur in the name of beliefs in different parts of the world. In the context of Indonesia, both of impacts of various conflicts and conflicts between various beliefs are rising to the surface ahead of the beginning of the third millennium to the present day. All this requires dialogue and open cooperation between religious communities. In the context of Indonesia, in order to contribute maximally to the good, and the progress of the nation and state, all religious people must be willing to engage in dialogue and cooperation in the social, cultural, economic, political, human quality of Indonesia and others. Therefore, we will explore the discourse of dialogue and cooperation among religious people in the perspective of Nurcholish Madjid.

Abstract

The aims of paper is digging beneath the ontological relations between human and technology. It is handled by drawing a inspiration from Martin Heidegger's thought, specifically the period of Heidegger II. This library research discusses two key of Heidegger’s texts against technology, namely: “Questions concerning Technology” and “Discourse about Thinking”. The paper provides some findings: 1) The Dasein reconstruction transforms toward Digi-sein as the only and one Questioner of Being that exist within a heart of digital culture; 2) Heideggerian destruction of gestell as a framed way of thinking that makes humans and technology relations become non-free relations. Heidegger calls calculative thinking as actually "flight from thinking". Gestell shackles us in exploitative ways of thinking that oppose disclosure the veil of human openness to the Being; 3) Heidegger employs gelassenheit as a simple and relaxed attitude, as releasement, that was not impermeable to nuances of metaphysics and religion. Gelassenheit was living an attitude that kept a tension between saying "yes" and "no", simultaneously and ambiguously. Technology is addressed by “let it be” attitude, and release the technology as it is.

Abstract

The existence of Islam and its varieties among society indicates a big contribution of some scholars including Moslem scholars in Indonesia. KH. Dja’far Addari was one of the pioneers in Bangka who could prove it.—had a big role in changing civilization. Beside idealism and strong struggle, his charisma plays a big role. Dja’far Addari was not only muballigh (conventional Islamic preacher), but productive writer. He travelled far for seek of knowledge (from Bangka Selatan to Mecca) when he was 14 years old under the supervision of salaf Moslem scholars, then went home to his motherland. This article focusses on the thought of Dja’far Addari which consist of Tauhid, syari’ah and Akhlak, then his social movement as Dakwah Islam. Many key persons have been interviewed in searching detail sources in this research. The existence of this Guru implicates some influences, such as: adat istiadat and local tradition, system of belief, strengthening economy and entrepreneurship. The figurism of Dja’far Addari inspires new civilization in Bangka Selatan; Dallas, Airgegas even Pangkalpinang.

Abstract

This paper explored the idea of Neal Robinson, Farid Esack and Abdullah Saeed in their books, Discovering The Qur'an: A Contemporary Approach To A Veiled Text, The Qur‟an: A User‟s Guide, and The Qur‟an: An Introduction in order to understand the living Qur‟an in moslem society. After reading these books, the writer found that the Qur‟an gave a strong presence in the lives of many Muslims. Various norms and practices concerning interaction with the Qur‟an have developed over time. Recitation of the Qur‟an was not only as Islamic artistic expression but also as a good reward. Memorizing al-Qur‟an is a demand and a need for many Muslims. In modern era, on one hand, the Qur‟an is always listened by electronic media, on the other hand, the Qur‟an was used as a protection from evil by wearing it as amulet. Ayahs of Qur‟an and certain surahs were believed that they have superiority and were recitated at specific times. Arabic calligraphy was considered one of the most important forms of Islamic artistic expressions. All in all,the Qur‟an was not only a guidance but also an ideology.

Abstract

Social entrepreneur is a branch of entrepreneur. Solutions of social problems who implementated is a social entrepreneur. A social entrepreneur be required a person who can read a social problem, design a social solution and mobilize the idea in order to implemented. Entrepreneur with social motivation, makes a lot of impact. Social impact of entrepreneur is fullfilment of needs, serve alternative unique product with low cost and provide solutions of goverment problems. Indonesia as a country with muslims as mayority, social entrepreneur is a needs for people economy. Social entrepreneur can be solution of economic gap or disparities in Indonesia.

Abstract

Factually, Indonesia is a nation that has a variety of ethnic, linguistic, class, color, and religion that become the nation's assets in forming social harmony. In the study of contemporary political theory, the diversity of human society in all its aspects is also called multicultural society. In religious context, some religious people always socialize their religious teachings to plural society by ignoring the plurality of people's lives in all its aspects. This is where the significance of a multicultural perspective needs to be possessed by anyone who wants to convey religious messages in a multicultural society. From a multicultural perspective, the delivery of religious messages or da'wah requires a preacher to understand the cultural diversity of society and to be positive about the diversity. Multicultural preaching means seeking to create harmony in the midst of diverse societies and still be able to control oneself and tolerate all kinds of unequal differences. This article discusses the multicultural da'wah through the study of Islamic doctrine that is through the perspective of interpretation in order to obtain a more holistic view of the Qur'anic point.

Abstract

In the electronic age today, the internet continues to experience innovation and development. The internet is bringing people increasingly into a beautiful world without limits called the digital era. This is the special service that digital technology presents to humans in this era. The most popular icon of digital technology is social media. Social media rose to the top of the digital technology products that are the most popular among the world's people today. Popping up various kinds of social media: Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram, Path, Pinterest, Tumblr, Flickr, WhatsApp and more. The number of social media users abounds. The graph rose sharply in a short time to reach billions. According to experts, the world of social media is like a double-edged knife. On the one hand, it can provide a huge benefit for people who can use it well. But on the other hand, it can also cause harm, a bad impact for people who are not able to use it properly, well, and appropriately. This paper will explore the benefits of literacy, which is actively writing through social media platforms in various forms.

Abstract

Mental health is often associated with happiness, is a scientific study and promotion of psychological well-being and function optimization in individuals. Of course a normal person will display good and acceptable behavior in general. His attitude in accordance with the norms and patterns of community groups, so that there are satisfying interpersonal and intersocial relations. Healthy mental health condition is that they avoid the symptoms of mental disorders, symptoms of mental illness, show their intelligence, and have a happy life attitude. Mental health can be reviewed in two ways, negatively with the absence of mental disorders and positively when the presence of a healthy individual mental personality refers to positive conditions or traits. Happiness in humans, includes positive feelings (comfortable-enjoyable) and positive activities. The goals to be achieved are developing studies on mentally impaired individuals, suffering from mental disorders and mental illness into positive personalities and interventions that believe that every individual in various conditions has the potential, ability to understand their strengths and weaknesses, and the ability to function optimally for happiness.

Abstract

This article refers to the current communication issue where the emergence of new media give chance to the creation of a truly, practice of journalism. That is no longer conducted by professional journalists but by ordinary citizens. This writing focus on how the opportunities of new media and its challenges in people journalism and political agenda which using as fact news disseminators (hoax) and source run of black campaign content at both the national and regional political. The Habermas theory of public space where used to seeing new media become more crowded with various, opinion, news and of commentaries about politics. As in the case of seword.com, the news portal site was by a group of unknown writter its non credibility media worker. The use of social media by Bunni Yani who spread a message provocative and SARA in a contestation, political or agenda in the region hoax and black campaign. On the context of contestation or political agenda in the region, hoax and black campaign can break up nation’s unity at the regional level. Even the phenomenon in Jakarta Local Election perceived have influenced political stability and life state in general in Indonesia. In which front new media uses and journalism that they have to more support by participation political public that puts forward ethics journalistic, to unite wholeness the people and the country, instead of divided.

Abstract

This paper aims to explain the contestation among news programs in deal with a television media business. This research appropriated the Media Economic Theory derived from Vincent Moscow and the Theory of Media. The research uses a postpositivism paradigm. This paper follows a descriptive-qualitative approach. Findings: the contestation among news programs has a good and quality competition of television media business. And also, this research explains how broadcastiong station strategy can produce a program to reach an success and beyond a rivality in similar program that propose by the other broadcasting station.
