Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a high risk of natural disasters. Lack of natural ability to save themselves results in an enormous potential for children to suffer the most when a disaster occurs. Natural disaster preparedness needs to be introduced to children from an early age. Children are no longer a concern as victims who suffer the most but need to save themselves when in danger. The purpose of developing ASIAB clothing media is to determine the development, effectiveness, and feasibility of ASIAB clothing media for early childhood disaster preparedness. This type of research uses Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. The research subjects were media experts, material experts, and 30 teachers in TK Surabaya and Sidoarjo, East Java, Indonesia. Data collection was carried out using structured interview techniques and online questionnaires via google form accompanied by video supporting procedures for using ASIAB clothing media. Analyzing the feasibility and effectiveness of the ASIAB clothing media used qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis with a predetermined percentage of the assessment. The results obtained show that the ASIAB clothing media is feasible in learning early childhood disaster preparedness. The feasibility of testing by media experts obtained results with the criteria "good" information "feasible" (73.33%), testing by material experts obtained results with the criteria "very good" information "feasible" (90.67%), testing by the teacher the results obtained with the criteria "very good" information "feasible and effective" (84.33%). This research provides innovations in education, namely learning media for early childhood, that can assist teachers in achieving practical disaster preparedness learning objectives. Children can get hands-on experience in earthquake disaster preparedness practice using ASIAB clothing. Disaster stages such as pre-disaster, during the disaster, and post-disaster can also be introduced to children in a series of simulation activities. Based on the results of this assessment, the ASIAB clothing media is appropriate and effective for use in early childhood disaster preparedness learning.

This study aimed to increase the science literacy knowledge of elementary school students on the material of the solar system. This study uses the ADDIE type Research and Development (R&D) method, starting from analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Expert testing of a learning product was carried out by users of the Planetarium Glass application, namely grade VI students of SDN Patengteng 2. The results of this media trial on 22 respondents showed 80% effectiveness. This research instrument uses an online questionnaire to users to determine the effectiveness of this learning media. The final result of the Planetarium Glass application media based on augmented reality is an application format that can be used by utilizing an android-based smartphone. This media provides information about the material of the solar system in the form of 3D virtual animation (3 dimensions) accompanied by an explanation of each object in audio form and is equipped with an application usage module. This media is designed to facilitate students' understanding in understanding the material of the solar system effectively and efficiently because students can see directly the material conveyed via the smartphone they use. Learning using the Planetarium Glass application can be used as an alternative learning media in increasing science literacy knowledge of elementary school students, especially in Madura.

Abstract

This study examined the difference in effectiveness between Adlerian Play Therapy and content mastery services in increasing physical, social, and task attractiveness to students in primary schools. The factorial design experimental method was applied to 72 fifth-grade students from two public elementary schools in Bandung, Indonesia, whose dimensions of attractiveness were lower than the other study groups. Each intervention carried out six meetings in different schools. Adlerian Play Therapy starts from the one-session relationship-building stage, the lifestyle investigation stage through the three-session secret book, the lifestyle understanding stage through one-session games, and the reorientation & re-education stage through one-session games. Classical guidance services for content mastery with a community circle strategy start from building relationships in two sessions, introducing the importance of one session, improving the social aspects of one session, improving the physical aspects of one session, and improving the aspects of one session assignments. Manova analyzed the Interpersonal Attraction Scale (IAS) instrument. Adlerian Play Therapy further enhances all dimensions of interpersonal attractiveness than content mastery services. Recommendations are aimed at counseling teachers to use Adlerian Play Therapy to increase children's social, physical, and assignment attractiveness. It is hoped that other researchers will research further related to increasing task attractiveness.
