Abstract

This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Therefore, in accordance with classroom action research, the research problem that must be solved comes from the problem of learning practices in the classroom more professionally. The results of observations of observations in the first cycle of the implementation of problem solving methods experienced positive developments. namely in the first cycle the average activity of students 43% to 82% or an increase of 395%, while the learning outcomes of students in the first cycle averaged 65.36 with a mastery level reaching 46%. In the second cycle the average student learning outcomes were 85 and student completeness was 93%. From the results of the research carried out for 2 cycles by using the problem solving method, there was a good rise, so the implementation of the problem solving method was suitable for use in Thematic learning sub theme I.

Abstract

This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Abstract

This type of research is qualitative research as the subject in this study is 37 students of class XI Boga SMKN 2 Pariaman consisting of 36 female students and 1 male student. In conducting this research, researchers examined the implementation of learning by applying the cooperative learning model type Group Investigation. Based on the results of research carried out at SMKN 2 Pariaman in class XI Boga students in the second semester of the 2016/2017 academic year with the application of the Cooperative Learning Model Group Investigation type, it is known that there is an increase in learning outcomes obtained by students in cycle I on average 70.6 to increase in cycle II, the class average score reached 81.84 above the KKM 75

Abstract

Abstract

The objectives of this school action research are; To find out the ability of elementary school teachers with a cooperative learning model through clinical supervision at SD Negeri 02 Karan Aur, Kota Pariaman. The research subjects were 8 teachers of SD Negeri 02 Karan Aur. The results of the analysis that has been carried out using clinical supervision in improving the ability of teachers to use cooperative models are very good. At the beginning of the activity the teacher was still hesitant to use this model, but because of the guidance of researchers through clinical supervision, the teacher was able to use the cooperative model. 87% of teachers are able to use cooperative models in the learning process and this also affects the potential of students.

Abstract

Abstract

The low student learning outcomes in Thematic Learning Theme 1, Sub Theme 2 are caused by several factors, including student activities that are lacking in media that does not exist and the lack of source books for students so that it affects the student's involvement in the learning carried out. In this case the researcher as a class conducted a research entitled "Improving Student Learning Outcomes by Using Visual Media in Thematic Learning (Theme 1 Sub Theme 2) in class I SD Negeri 04 Kaja Pariaman" with the formulation of the problem, namely "Can Visual Media Improve the results? Student Learning in Thematic Learning (Theme 1 Sub Theme 2) in Class I SD Negeri 04 Kaja "The purpose of this study is to improve student learning outcomes in learning theme 1 sub theme 2 in class I SD Negeri 04 Kaja." This research was conducted at SD Negeri 04 Kaja in grade I, and was implemented in two cycles. The first cycle consists of two meetings, the second cycle is also held twice. The problems that will be discussed when using this visual media are determined by the teacher as a researcher. After the first cycle using visual media, the results obtained were only at the beginning, namely active students only reached 60%. At the end of the second cycle, there was a significant increase, student learning activities on thematic (Theme 1 Sub Theme 2) and learning outcomes. This can be seen in the ongoing learning and the results of the initial and final tests whose average score is 63 to 88, increases. Thus the use of visual media is very supportive and good in improving student learning outcomes in Thematic learning (Theme 1 Sub Theme 2).

Abstract

The research subjects were teachers of SD Negeri 15 Jalan Kereta Api. Research procedure with two cycles. Each cycle consists of two workshops, each of which includes planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques with observation, documentation. The data analysis carried out in this study were reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results revealed that there was an increase in teachers in making learning devices in each cycle. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the workshops can improve the ability of teachers to compile syllabus and lesson plans as well as increase the number of teachers in preparing these tools. What is expected is achieved.
