Abstract

This study aims to determine the promotion mix strategy of Batik Besemah based on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats which are owned by the product of Batik Besemah and formulate appropriate promotion mix strategy used after analyzed using SWOT analysis. Types of research used in this research is descriptive researchwith a focus on internal and external environment, and then to formulate a strategy, then processed into several stages, analyze internal and external environmental conditions and then using SWOT Matrix. The results showed that the strength of promotion mix Batik Besemah is exhibition, telephone marketing, and good cooperation with external parties. The weaknesses of the promotion mix is the limited budget and independent business. The opportunities that can be utilized is advertising and online marketing, lobbying government policies, proposing cooperation and expanding the market. The threats is the presence of competitors and market characteristics in Pagar Alam town.

Abstract

This research entitled “The Influence of Marketing Mix to Consumer Purchase Decision on Optical Humaira Sekayu”. This research is done by using sample as much 80 people taken by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used are questionnaire and documentation. Answer given by the respondents analyzed quantitatively using SPSS for windows versions 15.0. Research data quality is tested with test validity and realibility that the ordinal scale data is then transformed into a scale interval by using the help method successive intervals are integrated in Microsoft Excel. This research was conducted in the testing primary assumptions the regression includes data normality test, linearity test, multikolinieritas test and heteroskedastisitas test. The research result show the consumer decisions affect the marketing mix. Itcan be seen from the equation of regression result as follows: Y = 11,467 + 0,688X. That is, a good marketing mix will improve consumer decisions. It can be said that the higher the influence of consumer decisions, the higher the marketing mix. Conversely, the lower the marketing mix, the lower the consumer decision.

Abstract

This research aimed to know the role of information system in increasingbroadcasting effectivity and efficiency at Radio Dangdut Indonesia (RDI)Sekayu. This research was done by using Field research, that is thereseachers directly came to Radio Dangdut Indonesia office to makeinterview to the employees who have authorized to give information that isneeded and Library research that is collecting data was done by thereseachers by reading all reference books those related to the title andobserved problems in order to get theories those can be used as availabledata analysis tool materials. This research result showed that the role ofcomputer based Management information system has proved to be able tosupport broadcasting effectivity and efficiency at Radio Dangdut IndonesiaSekayu. This research gave the newest evidence related to informationsystem roles in increasing effectivity and efficiency of broadcasting at RadioDangdut Indonesia (RDI) Sekayu.

Abstract

This research is formulated whether or not there was a significant influence ofmarketing stimultion (product, price, and location) and consumerscharacteristics (social status and life style) toward puchase decision attraditional market. This research wes considered as an associative research inline with marketing stimulation and consumers characteristics towardpurchase decision. There were 16 indicators used in this research. Thepopulation of this research was all people who live in sukajadi district. Therewere 138 respondents as samples got through cluster samling technique. Thedata used in this research was primary data to collect the data, the researcherused multiple linear regression. the results showed that there wassimultaneous and partial influence of marketing stimulation (product, price,and place) and cosumers characteristics (social status and life style) towardpurchase decision at traditional market.

Abstract

The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is differences ofconsumer perceptions on foreign and local electronic brands in Kenten Laut,Talang Kelapa Subdistrict, Banyuasin Regency, Palembang. The purpose ofthis research is to know the differences of consumer perceptions on foreignand local electronic brands in Kenten Laut, Talang Kelapa Subdistrict,Banyuasin Regency, Palembang. This study includes a comparative studycomparing one sample with another sampel, whereby this study aims todetermine differences in consumer perceptions on foreign and localelectronic brands in Kenten Laut, Talang Kelapa Subdistrict, BanyuasinRegency, Palembang. The population is all KK in Kenten laut. Sample in this research is 200 KK, with technique of closter sampling analysis. Types of data used are primery and secondary data. Data is collected by usingquestionnaire, with analysis tool using chi-square. The results of theresearch indicate that there are differences of consumer perceptions onforeign and local electronic brands in Kenten Laut, Talang KelapaSubdistrict, Banyuasin Regency, Palembang. The difference in the intent isfound in foreign and local electronic brand products.

Abstract

This study was conducted to know the effect of training and supervision and work discipline on the performance of civil servants in SKPD Social Agency of South Sumatra province. Methodology design using primary data and data secondary. Sampling Probability sampling methods that amounted to 133 employees with technique of data collection through questionnaires. In this research model test is test multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity test, and test koefesien include F test and t test after it conducted the analysis model lines (direct and indirect influence). The result, simultaneously all variables are variables of training, supervision and discipline of work only to have influence on work performance by 38.3% while 61.7% influenced by other variables that are not addressed in this study, while partially only variable that was significantly training no effect on job performance with the magnitude of -0.148.

Abstract

The research was conducted to determine the effect of Working Capital Turnover, Receivabl Turnover, and Inventory Turnover to Profitability in Consumer Goods Industry Company in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The type of data used is the data panel of 10 industry sectors consumer goods companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange using the cross section.The results showed that the Working Capital Turnover, Receivable Turnover and Inventory Turnover jointly affect the profitability in the review of the Return On Investment (ROI). indicates that the value of F is equal to 28.0346. is equal to 2.6506. Test conditions, if F count > F table, or F-Statistic prob < ? (0:05), then Ho is rejected. t test results showed that the working capital turnover ((X 1 ) The profitability (Y) can be processed in partially t count variable working capital turnover amounted ttable 1.9721 ? - 6.5253. then there is significant influence by partial working capital turnover on profitability. For receivables turnover variable (X 2 ) to profitability (Y) t count variable receivable turnover amounted -6.64449 while t table 1.9721. it can be concluded that t hitung > t tabel mean a significant difference in partial working capital turnover on profitability. and inventory turnover variable (X 3 ) to profitability (Y) t hitung variable inventory turnover amounted to 4.123983 t table of 1.9721. it can be deduced that there is a significant effect of the partial rotation of working capital on profitability.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the influence of work culture, work environment and employee motivation towards achievement of Education and Training Agency of South Sumatra Province. The problems of this study whether there is influence workplace culture, work environment and employee motivation towards achievement of Education and Training Agency of South Sumatra Province? The data used in this study are primary data from 92 respondents' answers. Model analysis used multiple linear regression and by testing the validity and reliability of instruments. Test data characteristics that normality test linearity. Test model consists of multicolinierity test and test heteroskedastisitas. The results of t-test showed that culture, enveironment and motivation variables have significantly influenced on the performance of training and educationbureau of south sumatera province’s employees with 1,625 constansvalues. Culture has significantly influenced with the 0,041 regressioncoefficient result. Environment has 0,146 regression coefficient andmotivation was 0,126. The result of F test analysis was 17,946, higer thanF table with ? of 0,05 = 2,737. It means on the reaserch with 0,05significant errors, employee’s culture, environment, and motivationsimultaneously influence the performance

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the difference between the healtf of banks of the Bank with the Government of National Private Bank listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used in this research is secondary data such as financial ratios derived from the financial statements of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period from 2005 to 2014. While the variables used are the performance financial measured by CAMEL consisting of the CAR, NPL, NIM, ROA, ROE, and LDR. The population in this research are all banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange with sample 3 government banks and 5 national private banks. The results of this research indicate that there is no difference in the health of banks of government banks and national private banks listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange on indicators CAR, NPL, NIM. While indicators ROA, ROE, and LDR indicate there are differences in the health of banks of state banks and national private banks listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The implications of this research are expected to be used as notes or corrections to maintain and improve the health of banks of both government banking and private banking

Abstract

This research test the influence of motivation and discipline and job experience toward employ achivement at the Academy of Computer and Information Management in Palembang. This research is implemented by regressing independent variables motivation, dicipline, and job experience toward dependent variables, job achievemen by using multiple regression model.The sample of this research consist of 42 respondents. The data is analized through deskriptif after converted into interval using method of succesive interval. Multiple linier regresi analisys was done by the assistant of SPSS for Windows to test the research hypotesis. The result of analisys cooeficient regression proved that motivation variabel, dicipline, job experience influenced significantly employees’ job achievement with constanta -0,342 motivation variabel influences significantly with coefisien regresion of 0,497 dicipline variabel with coefisien regresion of 0,375 and job experience also influence siganificantly with coefisien regresion of 0,216. The result of analisys using F test, the variable result F test of 17,484 was higher than F table with ? of 0,05 = 2,852 this means on the research with 0,05 significant error that there is significant influence of motivation, dicipline and job experience simultaneously toward job achievement at the academy of computer and information management employee in Palembang.
