Abstract

Despite of its misuse, such as ethical disobidience by the students in the classroom during the teaching and learning process, handphone (HP) is an urgent device in education that facilitates learning.The problem of the research is “How is the implementation of Website Mobile Learning by Using HP to develop Realistics Mathematics Learning on the measurement of the area and the volume of cone?’. The long-term objective of the research is to develop HP as the media of realistics mathematics learning on the measurement of the area and the volume of cone. While the short-term objective of this research is (1) to create website program on the measurement of the area and the volume of cone that can be accessed through HP. (2) The occurence of the development of Realistics Mathematics Education on the measurement of the area and the volume of cone.In general, this research is an attempt to develop a software application on the measurement of the area and the volume of cone for Website Mobile Learning. Abstract

Curriculum 2004 highly requires the students to have critical thinking skills. At this juncture, learning strategies in improving students’ creative thinking skills arevery important. Therefore, this study needs to produce an innovative learning strategy through the implementation of cooperative learning in developing students’ creative thinking skills. In this study, the researcher employed classroom action research (CAR) as the research design in which the researcher carries out the cyclical procedure of the study: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting on the action. This cyclical procedure is implemented on the subject of how to operate communication equipment. This study, which took three cycles, was conducted in class XII PMS 2 in SMKN Lumajang. The findings of this study revealed that cooperative learning strategy can improve the students’ creative thinking skills as their final score on the third cycle exceeded the criteria of minimum completeness (KKM). With the lowest score of 80 and the highest one of 100, the students were regarded to have “good” creative thinking skills. In reference to the result of the study, therefore, it can be concluded that through the implementation of cooperative learning, the students can improve their creative thinking skills shown by their achievement score which have significantly increased.Keywords: Cooperative, creative thinking.

Abstract

As previously described, the research problems can be formulated as follows: (1) how does the implementation of VCT to improve the students’ civic (PKn) learning achievement at class VI SDN Kemiri 01 PantiJember in the even semester of the academic year 2012/2013?; and (2) Is the implementation of VCT able to improve the students’ civic (PKn) learning achievement at class VI SDN Kemiri 01 PantiJember in the even semester of the academic year 2012/2013?.  In accordance with those research problems, this research is aimed at (1) to describe how the implementation of VCT to improve the students’ civic (PKn) learning achievement at class VI SDN Kemiri 01 PantiJember in the even semester of the academic year 2012/2013 is, and (2) know how the students’ civic (PKn) learning achievement is improved using VCT. The research design used was classroom action research. The subjects were the sixth grader students of SDN Kemiri 01 PantiJember. The instruments used to collect data are observation, interview,and questionnaires for students.Descriptive qualitative is employed to analyze the data. The research findings show that it is through the implementation of ASSURE learning model the students’ motivation and learning outcomes in civic education (PKn) for the fourth grader (IV-B) of SDN Jenggawah 01 in odd semester in the academic year 2012/2013 has significantly increased.Keywords : VCT learning model, learning achievement.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of mathematical literacy class VII student Annur Islamic Rambipuji which include communication, reasoning, problem solving and matematisasi. The purpose of this research is to improve students' mathematical literacy class VII Annur Islamic Rambipuji using cooperative learning NHT. This research is conducted as a class action collaboration between researchers and teachers of mathematics. In this study consisted of two cycles, each cycle consisting of four phases: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The instrument used consisted of a feasibility study NHT observation sheet, observation sheets students’ mathematical literacy skills, and test questions that measure students' mathematical literacy skills. Analysis using descriptivequalitative. The results showed that learning with NHT models can improve students' mathematical litercy class VII Rambipuji Annur Islamic Jember. Learning NHT there are 6 phases, namely: (1) preparation; (2) the formation of the group; (3) ensure students have textbooks; (4) discussion of the problem; (5) presentation/giving an answer; and (6) make the conclusion. With the implementation of learning mathematical literacy skills of students at the end of the second cycle reached 65.50% reaching the high category (based on the observation sheet) and 69.15% with both categories (based on test results). Abstract

This study is aimed at investigating the increased activity and achievement of the students of SMPN 2 Mayang in the academic year 2013/2014 through the implementation numbered heads together (NHT) strategy. The research design employed in this study was classroom action research (CAR) that consists of cyclical procedures. The research findings show that the percentage of students’ learning activity in cycle 1 reached 90,7% and 92,2% in cycle 2. Whereas, the results of the average score of students daily test in cycle 1 was 81,78 and 83,06 in the cycle 2. In reference to the research findings previously described, it completely proved that the students’ activity and their achievement could be improved through the implementation of numbered heads together (NHT) strategy.Keywords: Cooperative learning, NHT, students’academic achievement.

Abstract

Rancangan bahan ajar mutlak harus disesuaikan dengan tujuan yang tertuang pada kurikulum. Saat ini, hampir semua sekolah menggunakan bahan ajar yang sudah tercetak oleh percetakan, dari pada bahan ajar rancangan guru sendiri. Padahal, pada jaman sekarang sangat mudah untuk menemukan sumber bahan ajar, walaupun masih juga perlu di bahas. Untuk itu, masalah pada tulisan ini adalah bagaimana merancang bahan ajar yang sesuai antara silabi dan pembelajar dengan menggunakan sumber belajar ICT. Tujuan dari tulisan ini adalah mengembangkan dan mempersiapkan materi pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran pada bahan ajar buatan guru dan percetaan. Hasilnya guru Bahasa Inggris mampu untuk lebih selektif dalam hal mendesain bahan ajarnya sendiri dan lebih selektif dalam memilih bahan ajar yang disiapkan oleh percetakan.Kata kunci; bahan ajar, link, silabi, pembelajar

Abstract

The objective of this study is to develop an innovative instructional strategy through the implementation of collaborative learning to develop the students’ understanding and learning motivationon the subject of the installation of basic operating system (SOD). In this study, the researcher employed classroom action research (CAR) as the research design in which the researcher carries out the cyclical procedure of the study: planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting on the action.This study was carried out in three cycles. The subject of this study is the students of class X TKJ 1, SMK Negeri 1 Lumajang, in the academic year 2013/2014. Test and observation used as the data collection methods in this study. On the basis of research findings, it can be concluded that collaborative learning strategy could be able to improve the students’ activity in the productive subject of TKJ. In addition, the study could be able to improve the students’ academic achievement.Keywords: Collaborative learning, academic achievement.

Abstract

This present study was aimed at investigating how to increase listening skill using English songs, and how to motivate the student in learning listening. The background of this study was commenced by the important framework concept in using English songs in the interaction process of communication in the classroom. The research used classroom action research. The respondent consists of20 students at the eighth grade of SMP Achmad Yani Puger in the academic year of 2016-2017. In the data gathering process, the researcher used listening cloze test administered in both cycle I and cycle II.The data analysis  of listening ability using English songs using description score, and statistics to see the average of the students score after the first observation have been done, the students score 81,35. It can be concluded that listening teaching process through English songs can increase the students’ listening ability. Key words: students’ listening ability, English songs

Abstract

In accordance with the previous background of the study, some research problems can be formulated as follows: (1) How is the implementation of using cooperative learning through the model of student-to-student exchange to enhance the students’ achievement inBahasa Indonesia at the students of class IV A SDN Jenggawah 01 Jember in academic year 2012/2013?; (2) Can and to what extent cooperative learning through the model of student-to-student exchange enhance the students’ achievement inBahasa Indonesia at the students of class IV A SDN Jenggawah 01 Jember in academic year 2012/2013?Whereas, this study carried out to meet the following objectives: (1) To know how the implementation of cooperative learning through the model of student-to-student exchange to enhance the students’ achievement inBahasa Indonesia at the students of class IV A SDN Jenggawah 01 Jember in academic year 2012/2013 is, and (2) to describe whether or not and to what extent the implementation of cooperative learning through the model of student-to-student exchange enhance the students’ achievement inBahasa Indonesia at the students of class IV A SDN Jenggawah 01 Jember in academic year 2012/2013.The research findings show that the students’ achievement of Bahasa Indonesia has significantly increased through the implementation of cooperative learning by the model of studentto-student exchange. Abstract

Based on the analysis of problems in SMK 1 Lumajang , researchers acknowledged that it was necessary to make an innovations in Teaching-learning physics. By giving the task before learning materials Newton's Law was expected to increase students’ motivation and their learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was (1) to investigate the ability of vocational high school students by giving the task before the learning process on Newton's Law matter, (2) to know the attitude of vocational high school students by giving the task before the learning process on Newton's Laws material and determine the skills of vocational students by giving the task before the learning process on Newton's Laws material.This study was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Lumajang . The subjects were the 38 students of class X TKI 4. This research was conducted in the 1st  half of the school year 2014-2015 . This research was a classroom action research that consisted repeated cycle; planning, implementing, reflecting the collaborative action and participation.The findings showed good improvement, in the first cycle there were no students who could achieve an "A" and "A-", while in the second cycle there were 9 students who could get an “A-” and 1 student could get a perfect "A". The attitude of the students in the first cycle described that there were 2 students achieved “Less” score, 10 students achieved “Enough” score, 2 students were achived “Very Well” score, and the rest got “Good” score. Attitude in the second cycle was no less achievement, simply there were 4 students, while the Excellent students were 9, and the rest reach Good. Knowledge in Cycle I were 6 students that did not fulfill the criterion of minimum completeness (KKM) and there were only 5 students that met the criteria of "A". In Cycle II, all students had reached KKM. In addition, in Cycle II there were only 3 students who got a "B" and 3 students who got a "B +"; whereas, the others had reached the "A" and "A-".On the basis of research findings, three suggestions were offered. First, the knowledge of vocational high school students could improve by giving the task before learning Newton's laws of matter. Second, the attitude of vocational students could increase by giving the task before learning Newton's laws of matter. Third, the skills of vocational students could increase by giving the task before learning Newton's laws of matter.Keywords: Curriculum 2013, Skills, Knowledge, Attitude.
