Abstract

Teachers are human figures that occupy the position and play an important role in education. Religiosity is the depth of a person's religious appreciation and belief in the existence of God is realized by obeying commands and prohibitions with kaiklasan away with a whole heart and soul and body. Spirituality avoids the formal and ceremonial connotations of religion; it is non denominational, non-hierarchical, and nonecclesiastical. Spirituality implies an inner search for meaning or fulfillment that may be undertaken by anyone regardless of religion. Religiosity and spirituality religious in works that are expected to contribute constructively to build a work environment and the image of the teachers profession (teachers refer not just limited to educate, but also all those who have a background in teaching education and cultivate a job in the field education for more professional, high integrity and  accountable.

Abstract

The advance of learning for the forthcoming years is beyond doubt indispensable as the consequence of life challenges and society demand in gratifying life need which is getting upsurge – that is being hassled on education. Education issue will absolutely occupies teachers as the ultimate tip in education manoeuvre at schools. Correlating to teachers’ main profession – that is teaching, hence education quality is prearranged as the responsibility of teachers. Nevertheless, their engagements are sometimes unfulfilled in anticipating the demand changes of learners or parents. These conditions are triggered by teachers’ lack of ability in tracking the massive development both in tecnology and information as well - which are getting more complex. At this juncture, the emergence of an educational supervisor is truly decisive in helping them enhancing the quality of teachers’ personality – both in administrative and educational division.

Abstract

Abstract: Students often gripe about remediation, as if the remedialprograms becomes a frightening specter for students. Manycontributing factors of why students often do remedial, among othersis the lack of prerequisite knowledge, it is difficult to understand thematerial of Competence Standard / Basic Competence granted. Even,among us, it is also still the lack of understanding about the remediallearning. Before giving remedial learning, at first, educators need toimplement the diagnosis of learners with learning difficulties by usingtest, interviews, observations, and so on. Having in mind the difficultyof learning, learners are given remedial teaching. Many techniquescan be used, e.g. are learning with different methods and media,simplification of the material, the use of peer tutors, and so on. Todetermine the mastery level after taking remedial learners, re-test isneeded, while the results must not exceed the minimum score ofminimal completeness criteria (KKM).

Abstract

The awareness of the importance of a good qualified education is experienced by many people of various strata. This is evidenced by the increasing numbers of students who move on to higher education. As one of the educational institutions, STAIN Pekalongan is committed to continuously improving the quality of education and to accommodate the wishes of the stakeholders. One form of this commitment is to establish new courses namely Intensive Arabic Program. This research was completed to know how big the public interest was against the opening of this course and what the dominant factors that  influence students in choosing the Arabic Studies Program of STAIN Pekalongan were. 16 variables were proposed to find out the reasons why the students chose PAI of STAIN  Pekalongan. From the population of 104 students of Arabic Education, the researcher selected a sample of 70 students (respondents). The selection was done randomly comprising 51 students and 19 students of the second semester of the fourth semester. The gender proportion of respondents consisted of 49% male students and 51% female students. Based on the value of KMO MSA and Bartlet's test, it showed that of the 16 variables submitted, there were only 13 significant variables. Of those 13 variables, they were reduced into 5 main factors – the curriculum, the promotion, the quality of lecturer, the college status, and the location.

Abstract

The development of moral learning through cooperative learning aims to produce students who are good, having moral, who understand, and able to exercise the rights and obligations both as a human being living in society as well as citizens of Indonesia. Assessment of moral learning through cooperative learning is relevant and necessary in the era of globalization which demands competition and impacts on the emerging attitude of exclusivism, permisivisme, and secularism. Cooperative learning has some advantages not only in boosting student academic achievement, but can also encourage the social aspects of treatment such as respecting others, empathy with others, cooperate with others and reduce the various negative aspects of competition, as well as able to give impressions on some other positive behaviors. However, to implement cooperative learning takes good preparation and planning therefore teaching and learning process can be carried out effectively and efficiently.

Abstract

The understanding of teachers’ position in the educationalprocess departs from the pattern of social interaction and leads tothe pattern of educational interaction. Therefore, the discussion oftheir existence as individuals who interact with their social environmentbecomes absolutely necessary. Human existence consists of severallevels, namely: the first level, anthropological materialism, the secondlevel is biological materialism and the third levels is spiritual beings.Unlike animals, humans have a higher life that is spiritual andintellectual life. Intrinsically this level is independent of everythingthat possesses material character. Abstract

Character education as a concept to solve the problems which is currently being experienced by various educational institutions, of course, has many aspects in it. They are morality, religiosity, and psychological aspects. An examination of the aspects of character education is important since it is as part of the element in character education. By understanding these aspects, it can be understood that the existence of character must inevitably involve other aspects. Those aspects are even less complexity with character education itself. Therefore, the awareness to understand other aspects which supports as the backbone ofthe existence of character education is going to give aids in identifying, formulating and repeating the substance of character education

Abstract

Advance of science and technology provides convenience on one hand, brings about negative implications for the emergence of the global crisis on the other hand. Science and technology on the one hand gives happiness but on the other hand contribute to the emergence of the global and multidimensional crisis. Therefore, it brings about awareness among some Muslims to perform the reconstruction of science through large projects of Islamization of science. This idea have ups and downs and invite pro and contra in academic circles. The idea of Islamization of knowledge is essentially an idea to find a new modern science but religious and monotheism. This idea is very popular since the beginning of its declaration and until now still being discussed among Muslims, whether they support or reject it. This idea is also very urgent in view of the increasing of intellectual’s awareness to transcend science. This paper is aimed to study the Islamization of knowledge from the background of the Islamization of science, history of the Islamization of science, implementation Islamization of science, and the challenges Islamization of sciences aspect.

Abstract

A qualified education can provide a right view about the process of changing views of society by setting up human resources that are righteous in God the Almighty, possesing virtuous noble character, having good personality, productive, physically and mentally healthy, independent, advanced, powerful, smart, knowledgeable, creative, skilled, disciplined, professional, responsible, socially minded, and be oriented to the future. In achieving this goal, education must be tailored to the needs of civil society that is humane, universal, democratic, in accordance with local and national cultures, capable of balancing between IMTAQ and IPTEQ as well as nondichotomous accordingly be accomodative and applicative to all.

Abstract

Peace is one of the main features of the Islamic religion.In Alquran Surat al-Anbiya ‘(21) Paragraph 107 stated that Islam isa religion that brings mercy for all creatures. In other words, wheneverand wherever Muslims are, must provide guarantees for thesafety and peace of humanity around him. Not a threat, let alone theenemy. The principle of the Qur’an is based on the recognition ofIslam to universal humanity, because in principle, Islam is a universalreligion. Departing from the principles of the Koran, then in this paperattempt to explore the paradigm of Islamic education, where inits implementation through 3 (three) things: first, a paradigm shiftfrom teaching to educate teachers. Second, Islam is humanist educationand nonviolence. Third, educate inclusive attitude.
