Abstract

Reality therapy is a system that is focused on current behavior, it is to help counselees face reality and fulfill basic needs without harming themselves or other individuals. In group counseling with the reality therapy approach the most important thing is to foster responsibility and awareness of the counselee. Basically humans are beings who are responsible for their own behavior and fulfillment of their needs. Emphasis on what group members do is the key to reality as a counseling group.

Abstract

Makalah ini bertujuan mengungkapkan hasil apresiasi terhadap karya seni. Hasil apresiasi tersebut ditilik dari segi proses dan hasil pengkonstruksian daya imajinasi dan kontemplasi. Makalah ini berisi tentang paparan studi kepustakaan dan analisis deskriptif.  Selain itu, studi kepustakaan tersebut ditinjau dari konsep-konsep mengenai hakikat seni, pembelajaran seni, estetika seni, dan proses imajinasi dan kontemplasi dalam seni. Berdasarkan konsep tersebut, dapat dipahami bahwa estetika merupakan suatu hasil pendayaan imajinasi dan kontemplasi seseorang yang tidak terbatas ruang dan waktu sehingga mampu menciptakan suatu karya seni yang indah.

Abstract

Low self-esteem is one of the problems experienced by orphanage adolescents. This study aims to describe adolescent self-confidence in terms of aspects of self-esteem, self-competence and feelings towards others. This research included in quantitative descriptive research. The study population was foster children in the Aisyyah Orphanage in Koto Tangah Branch, Padang, totaling 45 people. The sample uses purposive sampling. The results showed the level of adolescent confidence in the Aisyiyah Orphanage was in the moderate category. It was seen from the ability to judge themselves, comfort themselves, achieve perceived success, ability to deal with problems, problem-solving abilities, and feelings of being accepted by others, who were in the medium category, and indicators of feeling respected by others in the low category.

Abstract

Dukungan sosial orangtua dapat meningkatkan kepercayaan diri siswa. Siswa dituntut mampu meningkatkan kepercayaan diri dalam proses pembelajaran agar mendapatkan hasil memuaskan. Namun kenyataannya masih ada siswa yang memiliki kepercayaan diri rendah. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: (1) dukungan sosial orangtua, (2) kepercayaan diri siswa, dan (3) menguji hubungan dukungan sosial orangtua dengan kepercayaan diri siswa. Metode penelitian kuantitatif jenis deskriptif korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini kelas VII & VIII di SMP Negeri 22 Padang sebanyak 515 siswa dan sampel sebanyak 225 siswa dengan Stratified Random Sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan kuisioner. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan teknik Pearson Product Moment dengan bantuan program SPSS for windows 20. Temuan penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa: (1) dukungan sosial orangtua berada pada kategori sangat tinggi, (2) kepercayaan diri siswa berada pada kategori tinggi, dan (3) terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial orangtua dengan kepercayaan diri siswa dengan koefisien korelasi 0,649 dan taraf signigikan 0,000.

Abstract

This study aims 1) To describe the PTK improvement of cognitive learning outcomes (knowledge) of students of class VI on learning civics through Type Pair Checks at SDN 45 Jambak Pesisir Selatan. 2) To describe the PTK to increase the affective learning outcomes (responsibility) of the sixth-grade students on the learning of Civics through the type of learning Pair Checks at SDN 45 Jambak Pesisir Selatan. This study was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of two meetings and one final test cycle. The subjects of this study are students of class VI, which amounted to 12 people. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that the use of Pair Checks Learning Type can improve the learning outcomes of Civics in grade VI SDN 45 Jambak Pesisir Selatan.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of children's numeracy skills through modified congklak games. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR). The research subjects were 15 students of the Generation of West Pasaman Kindergarten. The time used in this study was 2 months, from July to August 2018. The study was conducted in 2 cycles. Data collection is done by observation and documentation study. Data were analyzed by percentage techniques. The results of the study on the implementation of the first cycle of the first meeting until the third meeting showed an increase in numeracy skills in children. After the second cycle of the first meeting until the third meeting, there was an increase in the numeracy skills of children, especially in counting 1-10, distinguishing the concept of many and few and summing up simply. After being given action on sikulus I and cycle II, it can be concluded that the ability of child counting can be improved by a haughty game of modification.y of child counting can be improved by a haughty game of modification.

Abstract

The aim of this research to know about  (1) implementation of Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) Approach can improve student’s learning At the IX.6 grade in learening motivation Indonesian SMPN 1 Nan Sabaris Padang Pariaman District.  Contextual Teaching And Learning (CTL) can increas student’s  spirit and response in solving problems set by the teacher, by increasing ability of communication and student learning outcomes obtained. Such as: (a) increased student collaboration and mutual help among students to solve problems in the learning process (b) increasing the compactness between students (c) the increased involvement of students in the learning process. (2) Contextual learning, has given a new feel in learning Indonesian so that learning is more effective. This is proven by the existence of significant changes to the completeness of student learning. By using contextual approach teachers find out innovate and create in the eye easy. Its approach can efficient and effective time to achieve the goal of learning and thinking effectively in solving simple problems.

Abstract

As an elementary school, there are many obstacles faced by SD Negeri 04 Lunang, such as the difficulty of obtaining professional teachers. Therefore, it is necessary to improve in various fields, especially the improvement of the quality of Master. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability of teachers in preparing the completeness of teaching and determine the appropriate steps to improve the ability of teachers in preparing the completeness of teaching. With In-House Training, all teachers are expected to have sufficient knowledge, understanding and experience, especially in the preparation of teaching comprehensiveness, which includes the Annual Program (Prota), Semester Program (Promes) and Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) in addition to other supporting facilities such as syllabus, education calendar, teaching schedule and student list. The research was conducted at SD Negeri 04 Lunang. Data collection is done through questionnaire, observation and documentation. There is an increase in the ability of teachers in preparing the completeness of teaching after In-House Training stage 1, and each teacher showed significant improvement. In-House Training is one of the most effective patterns to improve Teacher's ability to develop teaching comprehensiveness.

Abstract

The background of this research is that science learning has been theoretical without students knowing how the application of learning in everyday life and learning Science does not encourage students to care about the environment so students cannot know the process of a natural event in living things, such as plants. the author wants students to be closer to nature and at the same time can increase the process and learning outcomes, especially those related to science. The approach used is a qualitative approach. The research data was obtained from the results of the assessment of learning implementation plan (RPP), the results of the observation sheet on the implementation of learning with the Approach to Environmental Exploration Approach from the aspects of teachers, students and evaluation. The data source is the process of implementing the Neighborhood Exploration approach to the theme of Saving Sentient Beings in class VI of SD Negeri 23 Painan Utara. The results of the study are the learning of Science with the Approach to the Environmental Environment Exploration will lead to an attitude of student concern for the environment, motivating students to learn. This is evidenced by the increase in student learning outcomes, namely cycle I completeness of students 61% with an average value of 73 and cycle II completeness of students 83% with an average value of 84. Based on the results of the study, it is suggested to the following parties (1) for teachers The Neighborhood Exploration approach in learning Science because it can cause students to care about the environment and improve student learning outcomes, (2) the reader should be able to add knowledge to the reader.
