Jurnal Nukhbatul 'Ulum merupakan jurnal akademik yang diterbitkan dua kali dalam setahun (Juni dan Desember) yang diterbitkan oleh Pusat Penelitian dan Pengabdian Masyarakat (P3M) Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Islam dan Bahasa Arab (STIBA) Makassar. Jurnal Nukhbatul 'Ulum menerima tulisan ilmiah hasil pemikiran konseptual dan hasil penelitian yang belum pernah dipublikasikan, terutama yang berhubungan dengan bidang Kajian Islami (Dirasah Islamiyah). Penyunting (editor) berhak melakukan revisi untuk keragaman format, istilah, dan catatan kaki tanpa mengurangi dan mengubah isi dan maksud tulisan. Tulisan diterbitkan dalam bahasa Indonesia, Ingrris, dan Arab.

<![CDATA[The title of this research is “MahÄrat al-KalÄm learning method in improving beginner student speaking proficiencyâ€. This journal concludes two problem statements, namely 1) What is the importance of MahÄrat al-KalÄm Learning? 2) How is the process of MahÄrat al-KalÄm at the beginner level? The study of al KalÄm has been very critical at the present day since Arabic Language taught in many schools and universities, but most of the students are unable to speak properly. Therefore, it is necessary for the teacher or lecturer to concern with the accurate method and technique within the learning process. Method applied in this research is descriptive analysis by literature review on the books of prominent scholars in Arabic Language. This research is expected to provide new insight for the teachers and the lecturers in the learning process of al-KalÄm specifically for the beginners.]]>

<![CDATA[Pengukuran kinerja sangat penting bagi organisasi kemasyarakatan (ormas) untuk mengetahui efektifitas sistem yang berjalan dalam organisasi tersebut sertauntuk mengatur pola kerja bagi pengurus dan karyawannya. Banyak metode yang dapat dipergunakan untuk mengukur kinerja organisasi, diantaranya Balanced Scorecard dan cara tradisional. Dalam tulisan ini yang dibahas adalah metode Balanced Scorecard untuk mengukur kinerja organisasi pada empat perspektif yaitu perspektif obyek dakwah, perspektif keuangan, perspektif proses internal dan perspektif karyawan dan kapasitas organisasi. Balanced Scorecard juga digunakan untuk menggambarkant kurva kinerja organisasi dengan melakukan skoring terlebih dahulu.]]>

<![CDATA[This journal is written to analyze fqh reasoning by illat of law, requirements and implementation in the process of independent reasoning (ijtihad). The writing of this journal refers to the explanation of the islamic jurists on analogical reasoning (Qiyas) or the analogy among issues in fqh, specifcally the one which is categorized as rational issues (ma'qul al-ma'na). In conclusion, reasoning in fqh might be conducted by illat of law methodology and requirements in the characteristics, such as clearance and unambiguousity, constant and unchangeable, universal or limitless in law itself.]]>

<![CDATA[Water is a primary necessity for the process of life on earth, so there is no life if there is no water in the earth as Allah says "And out of the water we made all things alive". It is estimated that around 321 million Indonesians will experience water scarcity by 2025. Population growth is not proportional to water availability, industrial growth, and wasteful public behavior is the main cause. Pondok pesantren which has about 3,759,198 santri throughout Indonesia will be able to feel the impact if the pattern of water use is not in use sparingly. The application of the Sunnah of the Prophet sallallaahu alaihi wasallam and applied technology is very effective in saving water. The number of students as much as that by using the wudu 1 mud 'can save 8,693,145 liters and if in rupiah it is as much as Rp. 45.239.129.]]>

<![CDATA[The aim of this research is to identify the communicational pattern applied by Muslimah of Wahdah Islamiyah in the effort of religious coaching. This research applies qualitative and descriptive method. Method of collecting respondents are purposive sampling where the samples are 10 female preachers of Islamic study groups. The data are acquired from interview, observation and documentation. The result shows that religious coaching conducted by the female preachers of Wahdah Islamiyah is in the context of small group communication with informative and persuasive technique. Communicational pattern used is the wheel pattern and star pattern.]]>

<![CDATA[Arabic is the language of the Al-Qur'an which was sent down byAllah Almighty. Arabic is a language that has rich vocabularies and itis a language known for its complex grammatical structure(qawa'ed). In order to understand arabic properly, theunderstanding the grammar of the language is necessary. It is anobligation upon the Moslem to learn Arabic for bettercomprehension in Qur'anic text. In this research, the authorexamined one of the subjects in Sharf (Morphology) that is IsmDhamiá¿‘r (Pronoun). Ism Dhamiá¿‘r are words used as the pronouneither for the frst person, the pronoun for the second person or thepronoun for a third person. In this research, the author also outlinedthe subject by giving examples of sentences in a form of a chart or acolumn so that it will be easy to understand from the explanationand it would argue on people thought on the complexity of learningArabic. The author expected that this research could be additionalknowledge and references in learning the grammar of Arabic.]]>

<![CDATA[The concept of SyÅ«rÄ is one of the concepts existed in the Qur'an, and it is monumentalized by Allah Almighty in the Qur'an as one name of its chapters, al-SyÅ«rÄ. The word “SyÅ«rĆin etymologically has two defnitions, that are: “to reveal and expose something or take somethingâ€. While in the perspective of terminology, there are several defnitions, one of which is “a process of exposing various opinions with argumentation in an issue, tested by experts who has capabilities on the issue in order to conclude the right and the best implemental solution so that the expected objectives can be achievedâ€. This study focuses on the discussion about the status of SyÅ«rÄ and its urgency in Islam, the concept of SyÅ«rÄ in the Qur'an, as well as the differences between the SyÅ«rÄ and Democracy. This research used qualitative methods with the theological normative approach, resulting in a conclusion that SyÅ«rÄ is very important as one of the basic steps and most important rule of law enforcement in Islam on various aspects of the life of mankind.]]>
