Abstract

The word "piety" comes from the word "waqaa-yaqii-wiqaayah" which means to maintain, and maintain. Takwa also means dodge, in this sense includes three aspects namely; (1). Shy away from the kufr attitude by believing in Allah SWT. (2). Attempt to carry out God's commandments and to know His prohibitions as optimally as possible (3). Ranging from all activities that distanced the mind from God .SWT. The word "dhikr" is essentially derived from the word "dzakara-yadzkuru-dzikran". Dzikir can also be interpreted by presenting into the mind of what was previously forgotten and this is a dhikr meaning "remember". The word dhikr can also be understood in the sense of "glory". The point is "Al-Qur'an". The basic meaning of "falah" is luck. The word falah when associated with the verses of the Qur'an is luck, salvation, and lasting in pleasure and goodness. This is reflected in the letter of Ali 'Imran verse 130, about the prohibition of usury. In this verse that ends with the warning of God, in order to be cautious of Him in order that people may be lucky. The one who justifies usury is threatened with the fire of hell. The Qur'anic concept of piety, dhikr, and falah is the same as the three money, in which these three concepts have the achievement of living in the heavens and the earthly life.

Abstract

E-commerce is a contact of trade transactions between the seller and the buyer by using internet media. The advantage gained by using transactions through E-commerce is to increase revenue by using online sales that are cheaper and also at the same time operational costs such as paper, catalog printing can be minimized. Big online business companies in Indonesia, such as bukalapak.com, olx.co.id, lazad.com, and the like have started to reap profits. Online business becomes an exciting business, not just for its founders, but for users, as well as buyers. To increase sales turnover E-commerce company utilize brand community in social media in face of increasingly competitive competition, main factor in brand community is formation of communication. The communication relationship does not need to be active, but at least its existence can be determined. This means that the communication that occurs can be through social media.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the interpersonal communication of teacher and school culture influence to student learning motivation of SMK Al Ikhwaniyah of South Tangerang. This research uses survey method with correlational approach. The variables studied using three variables consist of independent variables of teacher interpersonal communication and school culture, the next variable of student learning motivation. Population in this research is all student of class XI and XII SMK Al Ikhwaniyah Tangerang Selatan academic year 2016-2017 total population 136 student, sample counted 102 student with proportionate random sampling sampling technique. Interpersonal communication of teacher and school culture have positive and significant effect together to student learning motivation with high interpretation level that is 97,5%. This means that increased interpersonal communication of teachers followed by a good school culture will increase student learning motivation.

Abstract

This study examined digital media literacy skills of university students based on Jenkins and his colleagues’ classification. Toward this purpose, an Likert scale was administered to a sample (n=150). This scale included a multi-component understanding of media literacy such as tackling the consumption of media messages and the original creation of multimedia material. This study also aimed to assess participants’ new media literacy skills by presenting about their social and cultural modes of engagement, online interaction, and media consumption and creation patterns. The statements were conceptually built around the 12 new media literacy levels skills identified by Jenkins and his colleagues. These skills are: Play, appropriation, distributed cognition, collective intelligence, judgment, transmedia navigation, networking, negotiation, and visualization. The results of the study showed that individuals who spent more time on Internet, social media, and blogging had the highest media literacy skills levels. Furthermore, the average of new media literacy levels among respondents were quite good and well, and there is no significant difference in the new media literacy skills based on the demographics of respondents.

Abstract

The communication that takes place between individuals and individuals in the science of communication is known as interpersonal communication. Conflict in Interpersonal Relationships is one thing that differs between individuals who have relationships with one another, such as close friends, family members, and so on. The phrase ‘having a relationship’ emphasizes the people who are every position and every action of others. In the context of conflict there are several ways that can be used, verbal aggressiveness and / or creative arguments. Where verbal aggression and argumentativity are two dimensions of aggressive communication. Verbal aggressiveness, a destructive form of aggressive communication, destroys individuals. Verbally verbal individuals usually hurt people who use verbal aggressive words whereas Argumentativity becomes a generally stable trait that affects individuals in communication to advocate every issue in controversial issues and verbally attack people others who use these issues. The concept of learning as constructive. this study is expected to provide assistance for the continued research of effective interpersonal relationship management models. By knowing ways of developing interpersonal relationships and conflict resolution by students who can identify and compare their students, enables users to create learning strategies tailored to the characteristics of students, and can create learning that teaches (more) conducive.

Abstract

Education is the basic right of Indonesian people include children with special needs (ABK). Understanding of inclusive education for kindergarten is important for parents and teachers. Interpersonal communication can be a bridge to share ideas, facts, knowledge, thoughts from parents and teachers about inclusive education at Jasmien Kindergarten in North Jakarta. This is a descriptive qualitative research with case study method. The data obtained byobservation indepth interviews with the parents both of ABK and non ABK also the teachers. The study was conducted in May-July 2017. The result shows that the understanding of inclusive education for parents sourced by the experience the children in inclusion school. ABK and not ABK grow well by playing, learning and interact among the children. For teachers, inclusion education is a tangible form of fulfillment of the basic rights of children. Interpersonal communication between parents and teachers is found in dimensions: openness, empathy, supportive, positiveness and equality.

Abstract

This research describes  the effort  of  PT Pelni (Persero)’s  Public Relations (PR) to provide Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) through Program  Kemitraan Dan Bina Lingkungan (PKBL).  CSR is a part of community relations activity, which happens to be part of PR function to build positive images of  the company. The concepts that  used to understand the phenomenon under the study are  organization communications, Public Relations, strategic management of Public Relations, interactionist symbolic, partnership  and  CSR through qualitative case study considered as the right method to provide a holistic preview about strategic management of PR for CSR implementation.          The findings of the research show that organization communications if implemented well, precisely and interactivy will accelerate Public Relations strategy for CSR implementation through PKBL although  PKBL is structured under controlling by Finance Department PT Pelni (Persero) cq Treasury division not restrained by Corporate Secretary PT Pelni (Persero) in which PR and CSR fields are managed. CSR  known as a PR activity that contributes to build and maintain good relationship between company and stakeholders and also to enhance positive images of the company.

Abstract

Advertising is a muamalah (human relations) study within the scope of Islam, with the principle of fiqh in your practice is the origin of the law that you can, unless there is a proposition that prohibits it. The prohibition in practicing as a sign of Islam that human social activity also has ethics as its basic foundation. Islam regulates the moral ethics in the practice that in this case specializes in advertising not only for the benefit and prosperity of mankind itself, Islam does not teach to seek material gain alone by forgetting the element of blessing or victory (falah) for all people human beings as in the principles of materialism, wherethe main purpose of every activity is merely material or property, as well as its adverts. In this study is a qualitative research using a critical paradigm method.

Abstract

This study seeks to reveal the opinion of Indonesian press leaders about the new media ethics in the digital age. The study uses descriptive qualitative method. Researcher collected data by studying documents and interviewing press leaders from the Indonesia Journalists Association and the Alliance of Independent Journalists. This study reveals that Indonesian journalists have had journalism code of ethics and cyber media guidelines, but they haven’t had the New Media Code of Ethics. The press leaders share the same view about journalism ethics, but they have different opinion about new media ethics.

Abstract

The main aim of this study is to investigate and critically examines the view of the political news representation on Jakarta gubernatorial election 2017. This study employed critical discourse analysis to investigate the power bias in news coverage of Jakarta election on TV One and Metro TV and seeks to examine the ideology behind the television media. A critical discourse analysis of the data revealed several findings. First, the television media coverage on the political news of Jakarta election in the form of text was ambiguous. While the political news has been positioned around the public sector that supposed to be politically neutral, nevertheless the media still produce subjective discourses. Second, the existence of certain interest groups has a significant effect on text production process in media. Third, the production of texts and the discourse practice in the media coverage of Jakarta's gubernatorial election are influenced by the particular regime interests, since the editorial room and the television studio are still considered as places of power. Fourth, the insensitivity of media objectivity is closely related to the sociocultural context that has developed in the society. The sociocultural profession of journalists in the Indonesian society still tends to be perceived as belonging to the power of incumbency. Thus, the political news representation remains heavily influenced by power.The power bias which is a problem in a democratic society, actually still growing and remaining in the television media, especially when representing the political news. The media’s potential to construct reality cannot be ignored. In other words, the change of democratic political system and media liberalization is not directly proportional to the expected changing in the attitude of the media in representing unbiased political news.
