Abstract

Research was conducted at the Rural Bank of Yogyakarta Province, with the title: "Analysis of Factors Affecting Lending Strategy and Its Impact on Non-Performing Loan" (Case Study on Rural Bank of Yogyakarta Province). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of external environment, internal environment of the lending strategy as well as the influence of credit strategy against non-performing loans at the Rural Bank Province Yogyakarta. The analytical tool used is multiple regressions.From the result and data analysis can be concluded that: 1) the external environment has a significant influence on the rural bank's lending strategy, based on the calculate of multiple linear regression analysis, where the t value bigger than value of t table; 2) bank's internal environment has a significant influence on the rural bank's lending strategy, based on the calculate of multiple linear regression analysis, where the obtained t value is bigger than value t table; and 3) lending strategies have significant effects on non-performing loans at the Rural Bank in Yogyakarta Province, based on the calculate of simple linear regression analysis, where the obtained t value variable lending strategy against non-performing loans is smaller than the value of t table.

Abstract

Cooperative economic enterprise is an economic pillar of Indonesian society. Cooperative economic enterprise is a key in reducing poverty community members. The problems that developed in the Koperasi organization is still poor quality and lack of cooperative institutional and managerial capacity in the absence of a business plan business as a business entity. Business plan which is expected to improve the welfare of members or farmers, in order to utilize the natural resources and human resources in the region in order to optimize. Based on the statement above, the issues to be analyzed are 1) how the feasibility of the production and marketing of sugar crystals the cooperative Nira Satria Kabupaten Banyumas by analyzing the legal aspects, environmental aspects, market aspects and marketing, technical and technological aspects, aspects of management and human resources as well as financial aspects; 2) how does the business development and marketing of crystal sugar production the cooperative Nira Satria Kabupaten Banyumas; 3) how does the production of business plans and marketing sugar crystals the cooperative Nira Satria Kabupaten Banyumas. Methods of this study use descriptive method. Descriptive method is a method that aims to provide a general overview, systematic, factual and actual. This descriptive method there is two methods of descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods. Parameters measured in the business of production and marketing of sugar crystals with an emphasis on the legal aspects, the environment, markets and marketing, technical and technological, and human resources management, finance. This study used a survey method, to determine the respondents conducted by purposive sampling. Results from this study is that all aspects of the feasibility of the results showed that lead to this effort deserves to be developed and the need for a business plan and business continuity for progress production and marketing cooperative sugar crystals district becomes more advanced and developed.

Abstract

Student center learning getting relevant with current learning. Student center learning method can be applied variously. Among them, there are contextual instruction and small discussion group that is applied on financial management college on economic faculty.Financial management is attended by student in second semester. This lesson content both theoris and computation. Then, both contextual instruction and small discussion group is a suitable collaboration method.Contextual instruction focuses on cognitive implement at day-to-day life. Some ways did by video rotating, problem solving, individual and group assignation.Small discussion is a group from one class of college student, devided into some small groups that consist of 5 until 7 person to be an effective group discussion. Then, they were given illustration problem or specific topic to be discussed. Lecturer as facilitator will conduct and control the discussion.Both of that method matched to be done all together. Students satisfied with that method, and get good mark. Evaluation is done by giving the student quesionair for better learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether individual characteristics, job characteristics and organizational culture are partially significant effect on job satisfaction of employees, whether individual characteristics, job characteristics and organizational culture are partially significant effect on employee motivation, to know whether the motivation to work partially have a significant on job satisfaction of employees and find out whether the individual characteristics, job characteristics and organizational culture partially have a significant effect on job satisfaction mediated by employee work motivation. The method used in sampling is convenience sampling. The method used is regression analysis of intervening with a significant level of 0.05.The results of this study concluded that individual characteristics, job characteristics and organizational culture partially had no significant effect on job satisfaction of employee. Individual characteristics, job characteristics and organizational culture partially had no significant effect on employee motivation. Motivation to work partially have a significant effect on job satisfaction of employees. Individual characteristics, job characteristics and organizational culture partially had no significant effect on job satisfaction mediated by employee work motivation.

Abstract

Teachers as educators is an educational leader, which is crucial in the learning process. Less than optimal performance of early childhood educators in District Pati, is a problem that must be addressed. Early childhood educator competencies and job characteristics in teaching should be improved as well as a strong commitment to be created and to use order to obtain higher performance. This study aims to determine the effect of teacher competence and job characteristics on performance by mediating organizational commitment (studies in early childhood education teachers in the district Pati).The research was conducted on educators of early childhood education in the District of Pati as many 140 people. Sample taking the entire population for the research sample. Data analysis use multiple regression analysis.Results reveal that the competence effect on organizational commitment. Positive effect on the employment characteristics of organizational commitment. Competence has a positive effect on the performance of early childhood educators. Job characteristics affect employee performance early childhood educators. Organizational commitment has a positive effect on the performance of early childhood educators. Organizational commitment did not mediate the effect of competence on the performance of early childhood educators. Organizational commitment did not mediate the effect of job characteristics on the performance of early childhood educators.

Abstract

In order to minimize investment losses that may be encountered when investing in stocks it needs to determine the factors that influence stock returns. This study investigates the influence of firm value, business risk, and growth rate on stock returns. The study employs book to market ratio, firm size, and sales price ratio as proxies for firm value, business risk, and growth rate. The results show that book to market ratio has positive impact on stock returns while sales price ratio has negative impact on stock returns. Furthermore, the results show that firm size has no significant impact on stock returns.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan pengembangan metode dan strategi pembelajaran. Tujuan Penelititan Tindakan Kelas ini adalah :1) Untuk mengetahui hal apa saja yang dianggap penting oleh mahasiswa dalam belajar; 2) Untuk mengetahui gaya belajar mahasiswa dalam mempelajari Manajemen Strategis; 3) Mengevaluasi apakah pembelajaran model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam penalaran, komunikasi dan pemecahan masalah pada mata kuliah Manajemen Strategis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Fakultas Ekonomi khususnya pada kelas Manajemen A dengan jumlah siswa 86 orang, pada saat mata kuliah Manajemen Strategis berlangsung.Berdasarkan hasil analisis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan strategi Problem Based Learning (PBL), mahasiswa mempunyai tingkat kedisiplinan yang cukup tinggi dalam perkuliahan ini. Berdasarkan analisis baik proses maupun output pembelajaran, strategi PBL pada mata kuliah Manajemen Strategis mampu meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam penalaran, komunikasi dan pemecahan masalah pada mata kuliah Manajemen Strategis. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari indikator baik proses maupun output yang sesuai atau bahkan melebihi target yang diharapkan.

Abstract

Faculty of Economics and Business of Jenderal Soedirman University Purwokerto is a formal education that can’t be separated from technological development. But in fact, the Faculty is still using manual facilities in the academic services of the operating system so it means that situation still not efficient and effective for students and College as well. To solve the problem, RFID is appropriate technology. Students and staff will have only one RFID card as an identity card and they can use the cards for various purposes such as loaning books, parking a vehicle and present students list. It provides system that easy, comfortable, effective, and efficient.The results of this research will show the model of design one-card system using RFID technology (Radio Frequency Identification) that will be applied in the process of academic services at the Faculty of Economics and Business of Jenderal Soedirman University Purwokerto.
