Abstract

Abstract; Harmony becomes important in people's lives, especially in conditions of heterogeneous societies such as Indonesia, living in harmony in the community becomes a mandatory thing that must be in the midst of society. Indonesia, which consists of various tribes, religions and cultures, has tremendous potential for conflict if each individual cannot mature in understanding the reality of diversity. This research uses qualitative research methods, namely researchers conduct observations directly in the field, using various methods in data mining in the field such as interviews, observation, documentation, and data analysis. The object of research in this study is the East Java Inter-Religious Youth Communication Forum (FORKUGAMA), the interfaith youth forum that is interesting to study in the midst of the condition of the community that is being intensely examined with various SARA issues in recent years. In this study there were several findings that researchers found in the field including the strategies carried out by youth in building harmony, there were 4 points namely, strengthening social media networks, building interfaith youth discussion forums, instilling tolerance values ​​early and multiplying moderate narratives in religious. To realize this strategy, the community has important capital in building harmony, namely cultural factors, national factors, the role of religious elites, the role of politicians and the government, but there are also inhibiting factors in building harmony between the factors of political competition, the establishment of synagogues, abuse of religious symbols, deviant religious ideas, economics and public welfare and excessive modernization.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Islam and Christianity are religions that have a long history in the life of social communities in Indonesia. The pairs of relations between the two religions have been going on for a long time. Conflict there are several regions in Indonesia that are related to social harmony with various supporting factors that exist in the community. This research will support how the pattern of participation of Islam and Christian minorities, as well as the field of harmony that unites the social relations of the two religions. Then this study is a qualitative study using observation techniques and direct interviews to the field to collect data with research objects. The results of this study suggest that both in Islam and Christianity are related to good relations within a religious and social framework. Furthermore, in building social relations that are found in several religious harmony fields, the yard is a place of worship, a village spring, a village hall and a village field. Abstract

Food is a means of survival. In terms of food, humans have each associated with food consumption patterns. In this research, what is interesting is that Bhakta Hare Krishna in Sri Sri Krishna Balarama Ashram Denpasar has a different food consumption pattern than the general public. Bhakta Hare Krishna in Sri Sri Krishna Balarama Ashram Denpasar does not provide food containing meat, fish, and eggs. This food consumption pattern is called the satwika food consumption pattern. About the observations in this paper related to the pattern of consumption of satwika food at Bhakta Hare Krishna in Sri Sri Krishna Balarama Ashram Denpasar.In further observation of functional choice theory and structural functionalism became a knife of analysis to reveal patterns of consumption of satwika food at Bhakta Hare Krishna at Sri Sri Krishna Balarama Denpasar Ashram. Bhakta Hare Krishna applies the pattern of consumption of satwika food based on the applicable provisions, rational choice of devotees, and functional for life both physical and spiritual life. Satwika food consumption patterns indicate five agreed components (1) how to obtain satwika food ingredients, (2) types of satwika food ingredients, (3) satwika food menu, (4) how to process satwika food, and (5) how to serve satwika food. As well as the implications obtained from the application of the satwika food consumption patterns have physical, mental and spiritual implications. Abstract

Catur Warna is four things that become a choice of life in the classification of society based on one's talent (expertise)/ expertise and skills (karma)/profession. But the invaders exploited the innocence of the community by giving a wrong understanding about the classification of this society. Castes is used by using varna chess which in its application is very different from the meaning in the scriptures. This misunderstanding continues to this day which causes a lot of disputes that occur in the Balinese Hindu community due to the lack of understanding and knowledge of studying the Scriptures. But as the development of civilization and technology does not make this a complicated thing, because everyone can easily get information. In this sophisticated era, there are no difficult boundaries, including those living in this era, known as the millennial era, where all groups have interconnected with one another. Related to making it easier for generations to find successful friends both online and offline, there is no limit to the distance of all easily obtained but the customs and customs that are still needed to be a challenge. There are still many who uphold the cultural heritage to this day which makes castes and varna a challenge that continues to occur today. the existence of this castes is also not a fateful thing because it has ingrained with the identity and characteristics of the area of ​​origin by not applying the principle of ruling castes.

Abstract

Abstract Speaking about the Millennial era today, will not be separated from the term generation Millennial generation ages productive with typical born in the world with the development of science and technology has been growing rapidly. In the teachings of Hinduism itself, the present period is referred to as, a term of Kali Yuga the dark ages which is estimated to have started about 5000 years ago. In the age of Kali, the condition of the world was no longer certain, full of chaos, and the application of religious teachings only received a modest portion. So, mankind, especially the younger generation at this time, began to forget God because it was considered taboo. If we look at it more deeply, the Millennial era goes hand in hand with the Kali Yuga that is happening now. From this, looking at the Millennial era perspective to understand it more deeply from the perspective Vedic as a way of life for Hindus is the subject of this paper. This is done by searching for literature related to this with the aim of finding a link between the development of technology use in the Millennial era and the dark nature of Kali Yuga. Abstract

The biblical text contains many narratives that are relevant to human problems today. This paper is an exegetical study of the text of Genesis 11: 1-9 which contains a narrative about human arrogance and fear over their abilities and towards human differences. But God broke the arrogance and fear of humans by disrupting their communication. God's purpose is to show that diversity is a necessity. This research was conducted with an exegetical method by combining narrative and semiotic criticism approaches. This critical approach describes who the characters are and their role in the narrative, the narrative plot, the meaning obtained through words/symbols and time, as well as what narrative is discussed and the author's perspective. The purpose of this paper is to deconstruct and find the hidden meaning of the text as well as reconstruct it and discover the implications of the text in multicultural society in Indonesia today. And the conclusion reached is that the biblical narrative is always relevant to human life today. In the context of this paper, the narrative in the Tower of Babel story stresses that God values ​​diversity and that diversity must be lived by everyone.

Abstract

Aspek muatan lokal dan berwawaskan potensi keunggulan Hindu etnis Dayak Kalimantan Tengah, maka akan kita jumpai kearifal lokal seperti “hidup menyatu dengan alam”. Kearifan lokal sangat diperlukan untuk menyiapkan sebuah generasi yang tidak hanya bisa menjadi penonton dalam sejarah peradaban, akan tetapi bisa menjadi pelaku sejarah dari peradaban itu sendiri. Dalam melestarikan kebijakan setempat “local wisdom” atau pengetahuan setempat “local knowledge”atau kecerdasan setempat “local genious”, ajaran Hindu Kaharingan merupakan sumber untuk mempelajarinya.Amalan Sampaingat merupakan sebuah warisan dari leluhur Dayak Kalimantan Tengah yang merupakan sebuah metode untuk menciptakan kecerdasan pada orang yang mengamalkannya. Amalan ini terdiri atas dua cara, yakni melalui menginang dan dengan cara permandian (keramas). Amalan sampaingat dengan menginang menggunakan beberapa sarana, seperti; Pinang, Sirih, Kapur Sirih, Gambir, Tembakau, Daun Panyalembang, Buah Kapapulut, Daun Parinting/ Paretei, dan Kayu Paleket. Sementara itu, Amalan Sampaingat yang digunakan melalui cara permandian yakni menggunakan sarana berupa; Batang Kajajak, daun Panyalembang, daun Kapapulut dan daun Untek Undang. Amalan ini mengajarkan agar masyarakat Dayak khususnya di Kalimantan Tengah selalu melakukan pembauran dan menjaga alam semesta. Ada beberapa Pali dalam menjalankan amalan Sampaingat.

Abstract

Ilmu yang mempelajari tentang seluk beluk alam semesta beserta isinya disebut kosmologi. Dalam susatra Hindu ajaran kosmologi banyak ditemukan dalam teks-teks Veda secara universal maupun Nibandha secara local genius. Salah satu bagian dari Nibandha adalah lontar. Lontar eksis dan masih banyak ditemukan diberbagai tempat yang ada di Indonesia, salah satunya yang terbanyak adalah di Bali. Salah satu lontar yang mengkaji soal kosmologi, utamanya kosmologi Hindu adalah Ganapati Tattwa. Dalam penelitian ini lontar yang dikaji telah digubah dan dialih aksarakan serta dialih bahasakan ke dalam bentuk teks berbahasa Kawi dan Indonesia. Teks Ganapati Tattwa merupakan salah satu teks yang membahas secara gamblang perihal ajaran tattwa yang bernuansa siwaistik. Dalam teks ini dijelaskan konsep penciptaan (utpati), pemeliharaan (sthitti), dan peleburan (pralina) alam semesta yang disajikan dalam bentuk dialogis antara Dewa Siwa dengan putranya Sang Hyang Ganapati. Sang Hyang Ganapati mengajukan begitu banyak pertanyaan kepada Dewa Siwa tentang hakikat alam semesta, hakikat manusia, ajaran yoga, kelepasan, dan lain sebagainya yang dijawab dengan bijaksana oleh Dewa Siwa. Konsep kosmologi Hindu dalam teks ini dijelaskan berawal dari Om-kara yang kemudian melahirkan Windu dan berakhir pada pembentukan alam semesta melalui unsur-unusr Panca Maha Bahuta. Selanjutnya akan mengalami pemeliharaan yang diakomodir oleh unsur-unsur Panca Daiwatma, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan peleburan sampai pada konsep Niskala dan akan mengalami penciptaan kembali dari konsep Niskala akan melahirkan Om-kara kembali sebagai cikal bakal penciptaan alam semesta.

Abstract

Theologically, Hindus have three basic frameworks that serve as guidelines in carrying out their religious life. Tattwa which is the philosophical substance of every activity and symbol; morality which is a supporting virtue which plays an important role in the order of everyday human life; as well as acara which include ritual activities, which implement tattwa and moral values in the form of a more real religious system in the cultural dimension. Ritual activities or sacred actions carried out by Hindus are an expression of the meaning of the yajna or holy sacrifices that are sincere. The Hindu religious ritual can be performed every day or on certain holy days, which is a form of gratitude and devotion to the Lord Almighty by Hindus. Without an event, religion is just a set of teachings that will not appear in the phenomenal world. Since the Covid-19 pandemic until now, the government has issued a “new normal” policy. This concerns many aspects of community life, including in the religious field. All religious activities, especially those carried out by the Balinese Hindu community, are limited. Changes in social behavior in the implementation of religious rituals have experienced a revolution that can be seen that if we observe more closely, today's society prioritizes security ethics but does not reduce the meaning of rituals, so that the implementation of religious activities is not buried in activities in the pandemic period.

The development of religious harmony is a tool to unite the nation in pluralist and pluralistic social conditions. The outline of the population of Palangka Raya City consists of various ethnicities, religions, races, between groups living side by side in an area in harmony and participating in upholding tolerance between people. The importance of maintaining harmony in a pluralistic society so that every element of society needs to play an active role in managing and realizing peaceful, harmonious and harmonious living conditions. The existence of Hindu Kaharingan adherents in Palangka Raya City, takes part in maintaining religious harmony in Palangka Raya City as a form of responsiveness in facing critical problems of a pluralistic society. Conflicts that arise due to societal differentiation can occur at any time. Therefore, the implementation of harmony in life by practicing the trilogy of religious harmony is a strategy carried out in order to create a sense of unity in the people of Palangka Raya City, which is increasingly dynamic with the times.
