Abstract

Beckground: Providing health care to patients, hospitals greatly relies on the presence of a nurse. This makes the nurse as a reliable resource as the spearhead of hospital services to patients. Each activity hospitals, nurses also always had an important role. The nurses performance is one indicator of performance hospital as a service industry that always rests on the human resources of competence. Mehtod: Purpose of this research to determine the effect of motivation, organizational culture and organizational commitment to the nurses of performance at the Dr. Moewardi General Hospital in Surakarta. The research method of multiple linear regression with simple random sampling technique. The population is a nurse in the Emergency Ward, Mawar Ward I, II and Melati Ward I, II , III, at Dr. Moewardi General Hospital in Surakarta as many as 100 people. There was effect motivation, organizational culture and commitment organizational to the nurses of performance at Dr. Moewardi General Hospital in Surakarta with P-value of 0.001 and r of 0.52.

Abstract

Background : Nurses are profesionals who have the ability, responsinility and avthority to implement and provide care for patiens who experienced health problems. Nurses was closely linked to the performance because the performance is the result or the overall success rate of a person during a certain period in the duty compared to the various possibilities, such as the standard of the work, the target or criteria that have been determined in advance and has agreed.Method: This was an analytic research use cross sectional approach conducted on as many as 103 nurses using a questionnaire research. Instruments by using chi square analysis.Result : There was a significant relationship between compensation (p value= 0,001;CI = 1,358-3,989) and job satisfaction (p value = 0,019; CI = 1,132-2,831) with the performance of the nurses and there is a significant relationship between organizational behavior (p value = 0,003; CI = 1,295-3,358) and leadership (p value =0,001; CI = 1,433-4,968) with the nurses performance.Conclusion : There was a relationship between compensation, job satisfaction, organizational behavior, leadership with nurses performance.

Abstract

Cuci tangan merupakan langkah sederhana yang penting untuk mencegah infeksi nosokomial. Oleh karena itu cuci tangan merupakan cara yang terpenting untuk mencegah transmisi kuman berbahaya untuk terjadinya infeksi yang berhubungan dengan perawatan. Usaha peningkatan SDM, sarana dan pelatihan/kampanye cuci tangan telah dilaksanakan, sehingga kepatuhan five moments for hand hygiene perlu dicari sebagai evaluasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan five moments for hand hygiene di Bangsal Al Araf. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mengobservasi 18 perawat dengan teknik totality sampling. Pengumpulan data dengan checklist dan panduan wawancara. Analisis data dengan triangulasi sumber dan metode. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan presentase pelaksanaan momen 1 sebesar 27,78%, momen 2 terdapat 33,33%, momen 3 dan 4 sebesar 100% dan momen 5 sebanyak 94,44%. Rata-rata perawat sudah melaksanakan five moments for hand hygiene belum sesuai dengan standar WHO yakni sebesar 72,11%. Kepatuhan perawat dalam melakukan hand hygiene sesuai dengan SOP sebesar 50%. Input pelaksanaan five moments di Bangsal Al Araf meliputi SDM, sarana prasarana dan peraturan sudah cukup baik. Process dari pelaksanaan perawat tidak melakukan hand hygiene dengan alasan terburu-buru dan tidak terbiasa. Output dari pelaksanaan five moments for hand hygiene angka kepatuhan minimal.

Abstract

Background: Hospital as the provider of health service must have competitive advantage. Consumers more clever and educated that make increase the wish and hope of health service quality. The implementation of the right marketing strategies have important role to realize inpatient loyalty against hospital service quality. Purpose: To know the influence of marketing mix to the inpatient loyalty at the general district Majenang hospital. Method: This research is inferential analytic with cross sectional approach. The populations of this study are in patients who utilize the hospitalization at the RSUD Majenang. The sampling technique use purposive sampling with amount of samples as 100 peoples. The data collecting use questionnaire. The data analysis using multiple regressions. Result: statistical analyze used multiple regressions prove that price, process, personnel and physical in partial and stimulants way influence the inpatient loyalty at the general district Majenang hospital (p<0,05). Conclusion: Price, process, personnel and physical influence the inpatient loyalty at the general district Majenang hospital.

Abstract

Background: Minister Regulation No. 012 of 2012 mentions the hospital accreditation that hospitals should make efforts to improve the quality of care and patient safety one of way to prevent and control infections in the hospital. Prevention efforts can to do by applying the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in every action of nurses (Pusdiknakes, 2004). The actions which not appropriate to the procedure, can cause Hospital Acquired Infection (HAIs). Objective: To determine the level of compliance of nurses on spo catheter use. To determine the effect of reciprocity, commitment, social proof, liking, authority, and scarcity of the catheter SPO with the level of nurse compliance at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Methods: This study was an analytical cross-sectional approach whose results are presented in descriptive multivariate analysis followed using Multiple Regression. The subjects were nurses on duty in the ward class III and emergency room PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. The research instrument was a questionnaire and observation. Results and Discussion: Nurses did not execute properly catheter so well with compliance rate of 0%. This is because nurses are accustomed forget to make some point and no one warned. The results obtained by the analysis of the value of Adjusted R2 of 0.040. This suggests that reciprocity, commitment/consistency, social proof, liking, authority and scarcity of nurses contributes to adherence by 4%, which means it does not contribute significantly to the compliance of nurses in implementing SPO catheter at PKU Muhammadiyah Gombong Hospital. Conclusion: Reciprocity, commitment/consistency, social proof, liking, authority and scarcity do not contribute significantly to the compliance of nurses in implementing SPO catheter. Nurses did not execute properly catheter so well with compliance rate of 0%. Recommendations need to do is nurse Improving compliance by increasing supervision, monitoring and motivation of nurses in the compliance of standard operating prosedure of urinary catheter insertion.

Abstract

The Customer loyalty is absolutely necessary in this era of increasingly fierce competition, including in the health care business. Because of the absence of customer loyalty, the hospital will not grow well even be left by customers. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that affect customer loyalty in Clinical of Neurology RSJD Dr. RM Soedjarwadi. The total sample of 139 respondents in there with purposive sampling. Based on SEM analysis concluded that the impact of service quality on customer satisfaction. Service quality effect on patient or customef. The hospital image effect on patient or customer satisfaction. The hospital image effect on patient or customer loyalty. Patient satisfaction effect on patient or client. And the good service quality , the image of the hospital and the patient or the customer satisfaction significant effect on customer loyalty simultaneously in Clinical of Neurology RSJD Dr. RM Soedjarwadi. While based on the acquisition value of the direct effects and indirect effects of customer satisfaction can be inferred intervening variable for the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty, while for the relationship between the image of the hospital with customer loyalty cannot be termed as intermediate variable (intervening).

Abstract

Background: Breast canceri ncidencse until now still become the highest type of cancer in Indonesia. The terapy can performed by the several ways, one of this is by chemotherapy. Objectives:This study aimed to describe the pattern of treatment and the type of chemotherapy drug used in breast cancer with chemotherapy inpatients National Health Insurance (JKN) at Dr Dr. Sardjito. Methods:Research is an observational study with cross sectional study design and data retrospective methods of data collection through the medical records of patients. The total study sample was 126 patients with 205 cases that met the inclusion criteria, the most patient age range is at 46-55 years (44.4% of total patients). The hingest severity level of patients is severity level I (76.1%). Result: Chemotherapy drugs used in each patient varies according to the condition and severity of disease. Chemotherapy drugs also cause adverst events during treatment. However, only a small proportion of patients who experienced adverse events (nausea and vomiting 2.4% and 0.5% decreased appetite). It because before being given the chemotherapy drug, the patient was given premedication with dexametason, ondansetron, ranitidine and diphenhydramine injection. Conclusion A chemotherapy drug that is most widely used is a combination of doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide in 65 cases.

Abstract

Infection prevention and control program is one measure of the quality of services that must be performed in a hospital. Phlebitis is one of nosocomial infection that occur in hospitals,, The sign of Phlebitis include with pain, redness, palpable soft, swelling, and feels hot on the location of the puncture. In preliminary studies showed the incidence of phlebitis and incidence of phlebitis registration numbers are still below standard. Objective of this study was to determine the root cause of the high incidence of phlebitis in terms of recording and reporting system the incidence of phlebitis. This was a quantitative descriptive study were obtained throught qustionnaire-base and interview is conducted to 12 respondents who consist of 5 nurses, 5 IPCLN (Infection Prevention and Control Link Nurse)and 2 head room. The results showed among of 91,7% of respondents state that the sign of Phlebitis that reported was if there are 3 signs, among of 66,7% of respondents agreed that making the report will takes too musch time and embroider jobs, among of 41,7% of respondents agreed that there are reward in any kind to reporting is conducted. The root cause of a less than optimal for recording and reporting the incidence of phlebitis were nurses do not understand how filling the form survailens, nurses procrastinator forget to fill and take survailens form of medical record documents and agreed to do the phlebitis criteria for recording and reporting. To disseminate the importance of recording and reporting, dissemination phlebitis criteria approved hospital and re-socialization of recording and reporting procedures phlebitis survailens recommended to reduce the incidence of phlebitis and improve the accuracy of the data recording and reporting the incidence of phlebitis.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah Ponorogo Hospital as Advanced Health Facility still suffers a lot of problem in providing patient service of JKN participant, meaning that the health insurance benefit has not been optimally felt by hospital as supporting of JKN program. Opportunities of service management of JKN participants, especially the users of inpatient services are not expected to have the leverage in optimizing the hospital's financial performance, it is necessary to conduct research on the users of inpatient services instead of JKN participants with the aim of getting a deeper picture and understanding of segmentation and targeting of inpatient service users are not JKN participants. The type of this research is descriptive research with quantitative approach and discussion of targeting is analyzed based on interpreter interpretation. The user segmentation of inpatient services is not a JKN participant with the Two Step Cluster SPSS Version 20 analysis, forming seven clusters but with poor model quality. Of the seven clusters that are targeting are clusters 1,7 and 6, with their respective meanings. The average demographic segmentation is 20-50 years old, elementary-high school education, members of the Family Card of 3-6 people, and includes the lower middle-income socio-economic group, in Sukorejo, Sawoo and Sampung sub-districts. Knowledge of JKN services of all clusters is lacking, but with positive perceptions of JKN and an attitude of interest to become a participant of JKN insurance

Abstract

Incidence of acute appendicitis in Indonesia is quite high, after dyspepsia, gastritis, duodenitis and other digestive system diseases. Incidence of acute appendicitis is found with different conditions, integrated pathways are used to reduce disease variation, cost efficiency, service according to standard procedures and evidence based medicine. The objective of the study was to evaluate the accuracy and to assess the adherence of integrated pathway of acute appendicitis in PKU Muhammdiyah Hospital of Yogyakarta. This research used case study method with descriptive quantitative statistic design, number of sample from November 2015 until end of January 2016 (n = 38). To evaluate the accuracy of using the Integrated Care Pathway Appraisal Tool (ICPAT) which consists of six dimensions and to assess compliance by comparing the services provided to patients with integrated pathway sheets. Evaluation of the dimensions of acute appendicitis pathway: Dimension 1 (true integrated pathway) content 70% (moderate) and quality 100% (Good), dimension 2 (documentation) content 48% (less) and quality 25% (less), dimension 3 content 54% (less) and 65% quality (moderate), dimension 4 (application) content 60% (moderate) and quality 100% (good), dimensions 5 (maintenance) content 50% (moderate) and quality 31 % (less), dimension 6 (role of organization) content 67% (moderate) and quality 55% (moderate). Adherence level: Admission process obedient 100%, diagnosis & pre-therapy obedient 100%, and therapy with 29% compliance. Conclusions: It is necessary to evaluate the accuracy of the pathway of acute appendicitis dimension and its application at least once a year. The integrated team tasked with correcting the implementation (the completeness of the medical record and integrated pathway documents, the compliance by the specialists and the results reported as the evaluation material..
