Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability to understand students' mathematicalconcepts and dispositions. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in theability to understand concepts and differences in mathematical dispositions of studentswho learned using geogebra software assisted learning cycle version 4.4 withconventional learning. This research is a quasi-experimental study. The research designused is Nonequivalent Control Group Design and Purposive Sampling samplingtechnique. The population is class VII students of SMPN 1 Jamblang Cirebon RegencyAcademic Year 2018 / 2019. The research sample involved seventh grade students, 33students in class VII A as the control class and 31 students in class VII B as theexperimental class. Based on the results of the mean post-test difference test using the mann-whitney U test, the Asymp.sig value is generated. (2-tailed) 0,000 <0,05, meaningthat H0 is rejected. Furthermore, the difference test of N-Gain mean with Mann-WhitneyU test obtained Asymp.sig value. (1 -tailed) 0,000 <0,05, ie H0 is rejected. Whereas basedon the results of the mathematical disposition scale using the Independent Sample t-Testproduces a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05, ie H0 is rejected. The results showed that:(1) The ability to understand mathematical concepts of students learning using theGeogebra software assisted learning cycle version 4.4 is better than students who useconventional learning. (2) Improved understanding of the mathematical concept ofstudents who learn using the Geogebra software assisted learning cycle model version 4.4better than students who study conventionally. (3) The difference in the ability of thestudents' mathematical disposition scale to learn using the Geogebra software assistedlearning cycle model version 4.4 is better than the students who study conventionally.Kata Kunci: Learning cycle, software Geogebra versi 4.4, ability to understandstudents' mathematical concepts and dispositions

Abstract

Research is motivated by the low ability of students' mathematical creative thinking in learning. The purpose of this study is to determine the increase in student learning activities in the learning process of mathematics and improvement of mathematical creative thinking of high school students in the process of learning mathematics using the learning media Microsoft Mathematics Version 4.0. This classroom action research uses inquiry method. The sample in this research is class X MIPA 1. The sample is determined pursuant to Purposive sampling. Instruments used in research in the form of students' mathematical creative thinking ability test. Based on the results of pretest students class X MIPA 1 students who achieve 0% KKM completeness. Followed by postes result in cycle 1 mastery 35% KKM and postes result in cycle II got KKM completeness 79,8%. 44.8% increase in KKM completeness from cycle I to cycle II. The answer of the student questionnaire sheet increased 5% from cycle I to cycle II. Based on the fact that learning assisted Software Microsoft Mathematics Version 4.0 improve student learning activities and improve the ability to think creatively mathematically high school students 3 Kuningan. Abstract

This research is motivated by the mathematical communication skills of students who are still low. The purpose of this experimental research is to find out whether the mathematical communication skills of students who get learning using the Accelerated Learning method are better than students who get learning using the expository method and to find out students' responses to learning using the Accelerated Learning method implemented. The population in this study were all grade VII students of SMP Negeri 29 Bandung, while the selected sample of 12 classes was class VII-B as the experimental class and class VII-A as the control class. The research design used was a pretest-posttest control group. The discussion used in this study is Triangle. The instruments used were tests of mathematical communication skills (pretest and posttest) and non-test instruments, namely questionnaires, observation sheets and daily journals. The results showed that the mathematical communication skills of students who get learning by using the Accelerated Learning method are better than students who get learning by using expository methods. In addition, almost all (96.57%) students gave positive responses to mathematics learning using the accelerated learning method.Keywords: Accelerated Learning, Mathematical Communication Skills.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability of students 'mathematical literacy and dispositionin learning mathematics, and the need for the use of learning models that can improvestudents' mathematical abilities. This research is a quasi-experimental study. The researchdesign used is Nonequivalent Control Group Design and Purposive Sampling samplingtechnique. The population is grade VIII SMPN 2 Sedong, Cirebon Regency, Academic Year2018/2019. The research sample involved eighth grade students, namely 32 students of classVIII B as an experimental class and 32 students of class VIII A as a control class. Based on theresults of the study, show that: (1) the literacy ability of students who learn using PBL modelsis better than students who use conventional learning; (2) Improvement of students'mathematical literacy skills whose learning uses PBL models is better than students who learnconventionally; (3) The ability of mathematical disposition of students whose learning usesPBL models is better than students who learn conventionally; and (4) Improving students'mathematical disposition abilities using the PBL model is better than students who learnconventionally.Keywords: PBL, Literacy Ability, Mathematical Disposition

Abstract

The low level of mathematical problem solving abilities of students is motivated by a less active learning model and still teacher-centered which result in students being less active in learning so that mathematical problem solving skills are still lacking. On of the learning models that can influence problem solving skills is the PAIKEM model through the index card match approach. So, the problem in this study is how much influence the PAIKEM model has through the index card match approach. This study aims to: 1) Knowing the application of the PAIKEM model through the index card match approach in mathematics learning has a better effect than conventional learning, in terms of students mathematical problem solving, 2) Knowing students responses to mathematics learning with the PAIKEM model trough an index card match approach. This type of research uses experimental quantitative research with the design of the pretest-posttest control group. The population in this study were all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Palimanan Cirebon academic year 2018/2019. The sample in this study was class VIII F as the experimental class and class VIII E as control class. The instrument used was a problem solving ability test and questionnaire. The result showed: 1) The PAIKEM model through the index card match give a better effect than conventional learning. This is evidenced by the result of the independent test, that is the significance value 0,000 < 0,05. That is, there are differences in the average test scores of mathematical problem solving abilities, that is 80,06 for the experimental class and 71,35 for the control class. 2) Students responses to mathematics learning with the PAIKEM model through the index card match approach has an average of 80,7% in the good categories. Abstract

The research is based on the law of comunacition mathematical and mathematical disposition and the less of the students’s activation in learning process. The research objective is to know the improvement of ccomunication mathematical which the learning process used is Reciprocal Teaching learning model with conventional learning. The research is Quasi Experimental research.The research design is used Nonequivalent Control Group Design and sample collection technique is Sampling Purposive .The population in the research is the students of class XIth MAN I Kota Cirebon, academic year 2017/2018. The sample of the research is the XIth qraders 39 th student class XIth A is classes eksperimental and 39 th student class XIth B is classes control. Based on the result the difference of the average using of N-gain using the test of Independent Sample t-test equals sig score (1 tiled) 0,0005 < 0,05 means H0 rejected. On the other hard, based on the result of questionnaire using the test of Mann Whitney U-Test eguals Asymp. Sig(2 tailed) 0,000 < 0,5 means H0 rejected. The research result shows that: The improvement of communication mathematical which is using Reciprocal Teaching learning model is better than the students who are learning by conventional learning process.
